一般放在名词、代词或动名词的前面。

在英语里，它的搭配能力最强。
但它不能单独作句子成分，需和名词或代词(或相当于名词的其他词类、短语及从句)构成介词短语，才能在句中充当成分。
解题技巧：1.要认真掌握好常用介词的主要用法及动词与介词的搭配。
这是考查的重点，也是做题的基础。
1.表示相同或相似概念的介词（短语）的区别“到……末为止”解，只能指时间。
不可单独使用。
