国际商务单证讲课(4)第五章、保险单⼀、货运保险的概念、种类和险别(⼀)货运保险的概念:保险单(INSURANCE POLICY)是保险⼈(INSURER)根据投保⼈或称保险⼈(THE ASSURED/THE INSURER)的要求,表⽰已经保险责任⽽出具的凭证,也是保险⼈与投保⼈之间的正式合同,其效⼒随着货物安全抵达⽬的地即告终⽌。

保险单是被保险⼈索赔的主要依据,也是保险公司理赔的主要依据。

由于国际贸易的货物多数是通过海上运输的,在海上运输途中,船只和货物都有可能由于⾃然灾害和意外事故⽽造成各种损失,所以要进⾏保险。

因此,海上运输保险单也就成为国际贸易中不可或缺的货运单据之⼀。

(⼆)保险单的种类:保险单可分为保险单(INSURANCE CERTIFICATE)、保险凭证(INSURANCE CERTIFICATE)、联合保险凭证(COMBINED INSURANCE CERTIFICTE)和预约保险单(OPEN POLICY等。

1、保险单(INSURANCE POLICY),俗称“⼤保单”,它是⼀种独⽴的保险凭证,⼀旦货物受到损失,承保⼈和被保⼈都要按照保险条款和投保险别来分清货损,处理索赔。

2、保险凭证(INSURANCE CERTIFICATE),保险凭证俗称“⼩保单”,是⼀种简单的保险凭证,它不印刷保险条款,只印刷承保责任界限,以保险公司的保险条款为准。

这种保险凭证格式简单,但其作⽤与保险单完全相同。

3、联合保险凭证(COMBINED INSURANCE CERTIFICATE):联合保险凭证利⽤商业发票在上⾯加盖保险章,注明保险编号、险别、⾦额、装载船名、开船⽇期等,以此作为保险凭证。

它与保险单有同等效⼒,但不能转让。

⼀般⽤于港澳地区中资银⾏开来的信⽤证项下业务。

4、预约保险单(OPEN POLICY):预约保险单是保险公司承保被保险⼈在⼀定时期内发运的、以CIF价格条件成交的出⼝货物或以FOB、CFR价格条件成交的进⼝货物的保险单。
