In order to reduce the stress on the students, Nanjing No. 1 High School has 31 a “mark bank”. The bank lets students “borrow” marks 32 they can pass exams, and then repay them in later tests. Here’s 33 it works: The “mark bank” allows students to 34 marks if they fail the exam. But, just like real banks, it requires “clients(客户)” to pay back the loan(贷款) on time, with interest(利息). So studentshave to pay for the loan by getting extra marks in future exams. Some teachers also allow the students to repay the bank 35 doing lab experiments or giving public speeches.

常用虚拟语气、让步状语从句和情态动词can, could, may, might, would, should等。

为了辩证推理的条理性和逻辑性,往往较多地使用since, now that, therefore, in that case, because, so ,but, however等过渡词和连接词。

Look! These red apples are all for he. he的宾格形式是him,所以把he改为him。改后:Look! These red apples are all for him. 2. The big yellow pears belong to me; the rest small ones are his and her. The big yellow pears belong to me; the rest small ones are his and hers. 3. Who taught your sister English? Nobody. She learned it all by her. Who taught your sister English? Nobody. She learned it all by herself. 4. Boys and girls! Enjoy yourself! 改后:Boys and girls! Enjoy yourselves! 5. (1) Don’t worry! There is wrong nothing with your father. Don’t worry! There is nothing wrong with your father.(2) The boy made all his hands dirty. The boy made both his hands dirty. 语法二、并列连词并列连词and, but, or, so, both...and..., not only...but (also)..., either...or..., neither...nor... 1. and的用法(1) 并列连词and意为“和,又”,表示并列关系,常用来连接表示对等成分的单词、短语或者句子,表示意思的顺延或增补。例如:Our math teacher is kind and helpful. I went to the supermarket and bought some vegetables this morning. Her uncle gave her a new bike as her birthday present and she liked it very much. Be careful, and you will make fewer mistakes. Our school is small but beautiful. The car is very old but it runs very fast. Do you often go to school on foot or by bike? You can stay here, or you can leave. I can't speak English or French. Put on your coat, or you will catch a cold. = If you don't put on your coat, you will catch a cold.(转换成以“if”引导的条件状语从句时,要去掉并列连词or)4.so的用法并列连词so表示“因此、所以”之意,常用来连接两个简单句,这两个简单句有意思上的因果关系。例如:The rain began to fall, so we went home. Everyone in the town knew him, so we had no trouble finding his house. He was ill, so he didn't go to school. He didn't go to school because he was ill. 5. both...and... 和……都”。例如:Both New York and London have traffic problems. He both speaks and writes Spanish. 注意:当both...and... Both she and I are good at English. 6. not only...but (also)... Not only I but also Tom and Mary are fond of watching television. He not only goes to work on weekdays, but also on weekends. 注意:当not only...but (also)... Not only the students but also their teacher is watching the film. 7. either...or... When the girl is happy, she either sings or dances. Either you or she is good at drawing. 注意:either...or... Either you or I am going there tomorrow. 8. neither...nor... 例如:She likes neither butter nor cheese. Neither you nor she is good at drawing. Neither my parents nor I am at home today.
