Elesvier艾斯维尔编辑系统EES注册指南Register in the Elsevier Editorial System (EES)注意：你不能用一个已经存在于EES网站的email地址注册这个杂志。
如果你这么做了，系统将标识为这是一个错误，并且将为你提供建议告诉你如何继续。
1、在EES网站的杂志页面上，在屏幕上方工具条的导航主菜单选择“Register”;2、输入First Name, Last Name and email address；3、点击“Continue”. EES将执行一个email地址检测，以确定系统中是否存在一个用那个email地址的整合账户。
一个整合账户将把user和个人信息在EES所有的期刊中同步，它可以允许使用同一个用户名和密码登陆所有整合到这个账户的EES期刊。
（1）如果使用那个email地址的整合账户确实存在，你将有选择去添加这个新账户，填写核实您的个人信息等以完成这个期刊的注册。
（2）如果已经有了使用那个email地址的整合账户，但是那个账户不是你的或者你不希望将这个期刊添加到那个账户，你必须另选一个不同的email地址去注册这个新期刊。
（3）如果没发现存在整合的账户，继续下一步。
4、输入一个密码，选择安全提问并提供答案，然后输入个人、单位等信息，所有有星号的地方都是必填的。
5、接下来，确认所填的个人信息是否正确并同意注册协议。
……6、点继续7、一个整合账户以及这个期刊的账户同时被创建。
一封email将发送以确认注册成功。
你可以立刻使用用户名登陆，用户名为最初的email地址和密码。
请注意：如果你在EES不同的期刊提交论文，你将需要在不同的期刊分别注册，但是如果你有一个整合的账户，你可以添加到它。

从Elsevier的投稿指南可借鉴的东西（1）Elsevier杂志的投稿指南，有人对其进行了全文翻译，尽管有些地方翻译的不是很恰当，但从中我们可以借鉴很多东西，如版权问题，一稿多投问题，图片要求问题等等。
全文如下Guide for Authors 指南作者Submission of manuscripts 提交手稿Types of contribution 类型的贡献Original Research Papers should report the results of original research. 原始的研究论文，应在报告中说明结果的原始研究。
The material should not have been previously published elsewhere, except in a preliminary form.该材料不应此前已在其他地方发表，除在初步形成。

投稿时采用的是Elsevier Editorial System (EES)投稿系统(2) 审稿时间。
通常不会超过半年，如果半年时间到，部分审稿意见没有返回，期刊社同样会把已返回的意见返回给你。
(3) 版权问题。
一般会通过给你发几个PDF合同，然后你打印出来，用手填写，然后邮寄或者扫描后通过email发给他们。
(4) 投稿模板。
通常很多人都会关心这个问题，这是投稿的第一步。
但是Elsevier旗下期刊对投稿的模板没什么要求，只要你比较注意排版，看着舒服就好。
至于排版，录用后他们编辑会排版，然后让你来校正。
建议，投稿时候不要考虑纸张页数，国外期刊不太关心期刊页数，只要按他们最后的排版不超过30页（好像是30页）一般不会收钱。
(5) 如果投稿论文分成几个部分，在投稿的时候就要分开，按照单独的论文投稿。
不过要在Letter to Editor中要说明这是同一个论文。
(6) Elsevier旗下期刊投稿不收取审稿费，发表也不收取版面费，但超过一定页数会适当收取费用，如果用彩色印刷，也会收钱，他们不收则以，一收就比较多。
(7) 投稿时是否需要把图片和论文主题分开。
这个本来不需要说的，网站上的要求就是如此，需要单独分开上传，但是以我的经验，如果论文图太多，特别是对于国内的网速慢，上传很不方便，可以直接把图放在论文中间，审稿阶段不用考虑图文分开，等录用后再图文分开。

EES 对于专家审稿过程的影响
• 投稿量增加 20-30%.
• 很容易跟踪论文的即时状态.
• 审阅时间从平均68 天降到 34 天. • 出版时间从平均 100 天降到 60-80 天. • 每个投稿都会由不同的专家审阅. • 通过EES提交论文会在6周内确定是否通
过. • 通知作者其稿件是否遵守学术道德规范.
• 使用 ‘change details’ 修改用户名和密码.
• 分别上传稿件正文，图像和表格.
• 正确的提交顺序是:
标题—作者—隶属关系—摘要—关键词—正文—感谢—附 录—参考文献—图像—表格
