I bet the cafeteria food is amazing too.My friend Jake's older brother goes to a prestigious university and he's always bragging about how amazing it is. As long as I find my passion, I can make it work wherever I am.Then again, maybe I could have the best of both worlds - a great university AND a great major I love. But how do I figure that out when I'm still so young? I'm interested in so many different subjects right now. Some days I want to be a scientist finding cures for diseases. Other days I think about becoming a video game designer or writer for movies and TV shows. Firefighting and professional sports look thrilling too. I change my mind all the time! How will I ever decide what to focus on?I guess the key is to keep an open mind and expose myself to as many potential paths as possible over the next few years. I should take a wide variety of classes, join tons of school clubs, volunteer, job shadow, and try internships in different fields. That will help me uncover where my deepest interests and aptitudes lie. Maybe I'll realize I have a huge passion for marine biology. Or perhaps I'll discover a love for history and want to be a museum curator. The possibilities are endless!No matter what direction I go in, I know having a solid education will be the foundation for any career.
