I chose to make a savanna scene with a lion, some antelopes, and an acacia tree. I covered a shoebox with brown construction paper for the ground, made the tree out of a branch from my backyard, and used plastic animal figures I already had. My mom helped me use cotton balls to make a few tufts of grass too. When it was all assembled, I was so proud of my little savanna diorama!On the very last day of the unit, my teacher had us present our diorama projects to the class.
