三年级下册英语第二单元评课稿范文

三年级下册英语第二单元评课稿范文

三年级下册英语第二单元评课稿范文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 2 Lesson EvaluationThis unit was all about "My Day" and learning vocabulary and phrases related to daily routines and activities. I thought it was a really fun and useful unit!First, we started by learning some key vocabulary words like "wake up", "brush my teeth", "get dressed", "have breakfast" and more. The textbook had really colorful pictures that helped me remember what each word meant. Our teacher also brought in props like a toothbrush, bowl, and pajamas which made it even more entertaining to learn the new words. We practiced the vocabulary through lots of different activities like flashcard games, singing songs, and acting out the morning routines. I especially loved the "What comes next?" game where we had to put the daily actions in the right order. It really helped cement the vocabulary in my mind. After we had learned the basic words, we moved on to talking about times of day and describing our schedules. Thiswas a bit trickier for me because telling time is still something I'm working on. But the textbook had lots of examples and practice activities focused just on telling time using phrases like "at 7o'clock", "in the morning/afternoon/evening", etc.By the end of that section, I felt pretty confident using simple phrases like "I wake up at 7 o'clock" or "I have dinner at 6 PM." We even did a fun project where we wrote out and illustrated our own daily schedules to share with the class. The part I struggled with most in this unit was using frequency adverbs like "always", "usually", "sometimes" and "never." There were so many of them to remember and learn how to use properly. The textbook had some fill-in-the-blank exercises but I think I needed even more practice with those. However, my favorite part of the whole unit was when we learned how to ask and answer questions about daily routines using "What time do you..." and "When do you..." I loved getting to interview my classmates and find out how their days differed from mine. It was really interesting to learn about the different schedules and routines we all have.We wrapped up the unit by doing roleplays in small groups where we pretended to interview each other about our daily livesusing all the phrases and vocabulary we had learned. I think doing that really solidified everything for me.Overall, I feel like I know so much more vocabulary about daily routines now and can use basic phrases to describe my own schedule pretty well. Asking questions is still a little hard for me, but I'm slowly improving. I'd give this unit an 8 out of 10 - it was very practical and useful, but some of the grammar points were pretty challenging for a third grader. With more time and practice though, I know I'll have those vocabulary words and phrases down pat!篇2Unit 2 ReviewHi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about Unit 2 in our English book. This unit was called "My Neighborhood" and it taught us lots of cool things about places around where we live. The first lesson introduced words for different buildings and places we might see in our neighborhood. Some of the new vocabulary words were "park", "library", "supermarket", "hospital", "restaurant", and "movie theater". I thought the pictures helped me learn the words really well. My favorite activity was when we had to draw our own neighborhood mapand label all the places. I drew my house, the school, the playground, and the ice cream shop!Next we learned about prepositions like "next to", "across from", "between", and "on the corner of". These helped us describe where things are located. I practiced by closing my eyes and listening to my teacher say sentences like "The library is across from the park." Then I had to point to those places on the neighborhood map. It was hard at first but I got better! One reading was about a boy named Jack who was going to meet his friends at the movies. He walked there and the story used a lot of those preposition words to show his path, like "He turned left at the corner of Oak Street and Main Street." I could really picture where he was going. At the end of the story there were comprehension questions and I loved raising my hand to answer those.Another lesson focused on asking and giving directions. We learned question starters like "How do I get to..." and "Which way is..." We also learned to use instructional phrases like "Go straight", "Turn right", and "Walk two blocks." My best friend Sam and I pretended one of us was a tourist and the other had to tell them how to get somewhere in our neighborhood. It was really fun!One of my favorite activities was when we all got into small groups and did a neighborhood scavenger hunt. The teacher gave each group a list of things to find around the school like "something green", "a circular shape", and "a road sign." We had to walk around looking carefully and checking things off our list. My group found a green leaf, a stop sign, and even a manhole cover! We also read a funny story called "The Lost Puppy" about a little dog who got loose and wandered all over the neighborhood. The story was full of descriptive words for buildings and places, so you could imagine where the puppy was at each part. There was an illustration on each page too. At the end, the puppy ended up back at his house across from the park. Phew! For the unit project, we had to make a 3D model of our neighborhood out of craft supplies like boxes, clay, popsicle sticks, and construction paper. I made my house, the corner store, and the swingsets at the park. It was really neat to see everyone's creative neighborhood models at the end. Some people even included roads, trees, and little pedestrians!Overall, I think Unit 2 was awesome and I learned so many good English words and skills for describing my neighborhood.Knowing prepositions and directions will definitely help me if I ever get lost or need to explain to someone how to get somewhere. The stories and activities made it way more fun than just memorizing vocab words from a list.I'm already excited for the next unit, which is called "Delicious Foods" from what I've seen in the table of contents. I can't wait to learn all about different foods, maybe some crazy ingredients, and how to order at a restaurant. English class is my favorite!篇3Unit 2 Lesson Plan EvaluationThis unit was all about foods, meals, and healthy eating habits. I thought it was a really fun and engaging unit! We learned lots of new vocabulary words for different foods, how to talk about foods we like and dislike, and how to describe our eating routines. The lessons had a good mix of activities to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing.VocabularyWe started by learning the words for different categories of foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy. I already knew words like "apple", "carrot", and "milk" but I learned lots ofnew ones too. Some of the trickier words for me were "broccoli", "lentils", and "yogurt". We played fun games like Word Wizard and Food Pyramid to practice identifying and categorizing the new words. Then we moved on to words for meals and dishes, like "breakfast", "lunch", "dinner", "sandwich", "soup", and "salad". I loved the picture flashcards we used to learn and review these words. We also learned adjectives to describe tastes, like "sweet", "sour", "spicy", and "bitter". Finally, we learned phrase chunks to express food preferences like "I like...", "I don't like...", "My favorite food is...", and "I'm allergic to...".Listening & SpeakingOne of my favorite activities was when we did surveys, asking and answering questions about our favorite foods and eating habits. We had to listen carefully to our partners' responses and repeat back what we heard. It was fun to find out how many people liked pizza best or preferred breakfast over other meals. We also did lots of fun role-plays, like ordering food at a restaurant or having a conversation about healthy vs unhealthy snacks. The teacher gave us realistic prompts and dialoguemodels to follow. I got to practice my speaking skills while also using the new vocabulary from the unit. For listening practice, we watched videos and did information gap activities. One video was about kids making their own healthy lunchboxes. We had to check off the ingredients they used from a list. Another time, we worked in groups to put picture cards in the right order to match a story we heard about a family's morning routine.Reading & WritingWe read simple stories, articles, and menus related to the unit topic. The readings helped reinforce the vocabulary and grammar from the unit, like using "some" and "any" with food words. The stories were engaging and had funny illustrations, like one about a boy who only wanted to eat pizza for every meal. For writing, we filled out graphic organizers to plan and then wrote paragraphs describing our favorite meal or our typical eating routine. We also created fun "dream menus" for an imaginary restaurant and had to include descriptions of the dishes. My menu was all desserts and sweets! We worked hard on using transition words and conjunctions to connect our sentences.Games & ActivitiesThis unit had so many interactive games and hands-on activities to make it more engaging. We played food vocabulary Bingo and did dictionary races to review the words. In one funny task, we had to categorize pictures of different foods as "Healthy" or "Unhealthy" snacks and then explain our reasoning. We also did a project where we created posters advertising a "new" healthy snack or dish. We had to include persuasive language and descriptive words to make it sound appealing. My group's snack was "Rainbowlicious Fruit Kebabs".Another time, we got into small groups and each group was assigned a different meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. We had to work together to plan a balanced menu with healthy options from all the different food groups. It was a good way to apply what we learned about nutrition.Overall ThoughtsI really enjoyed this unit and learned so much practical vocabulary and expressions related to food, meals, and eating habits. The lessons had a nice mixture of activities to work on all four skills - speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Everything was very hands-on, interactive, and engaging. Some units can feel repetitive if we just do boring worksheets or drills over and over. But this one had us up and moving, working in groups, creating projects, and using the language in communicative scenarios. The role-plays, games, videos, and other multimedia resources made it fun and helped bring the language to life. The lessons were well-structured too. We started by building the core vocabulary, then learned phrases and chunks to have basic conversations. The later lessons introduced grammar points like count/non-count nouns and quantifiers. And we always circled back to review and recycle vocabulary from previous lessons. My only critique is that I wish we could have done even more interactive and project-based tasks. Maybe we could have held a "Healthy Snack Tasting Fair" at the end to try each group's snack creations. Or done some research and presentations on foods from different cultures around the world. But overall, I felt very engaged throughout this unit and came away with a lot of new, practical language skills!。

三年级英语下册m2u2英语课文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Amazing Summer VacationLast summer was the best summer ever! I went on a super fun trip with my family. We went to a beach in Florida for one whole week. I was so excited when my mom and dad told me we were going. I had never been to the beach before! We had to wake up very early to get to the airport in time for our flight. I was pretty tired, but I didn't even care because I was going to the beach! The plane ride was really long and kind of boring. My little sister cried a lot because her ears hurt from the pressure changing. I felt bad for her, but I was just happy we were getting closer to our destination. Finally, after what felt like forever, we landed in Florida! It was really hot and humid outside. I'm used to the cooler weather in our state, so I was sweating a lot at first. But my parents said you get used to the heat pretty quickly. We took a shuttle bus from the airport to our beach hotel. I'll never forget the first time I saw the bright blue ocean water. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! The hotel was right on the beach too, which was awesome. Our room had a balcony where we could look out at the water. The first couple days, we just relaxed on the beach and played in the waves. The water was warm and clear. I loved jumping over the waves and burying my little brother in the sand. We also found some really neat seashells to take home as souvenirs. One day, we went on a glass-bottom boat tour to look at the coral reef and tropical fish. I had never seen anything like it before! The fish were every color of the rainbow. We even saw a sea turtle swimming by. The tour guide said we were really lucky to spot one.Another day, we rented jet skis and my dad took me out riding on one with him. It was a little scary at first because we were going so fast, but I ended up loving it. We got to see some dolphins jumping out of the water up close too!We also visited a state park and went on a nature hike through the woods. We learned about all the cool plants and animals that live there. My favorite was the yellow rat snake ourguide found. He let me and the other kids hold it and it felt really weird but neat!My mom and dad also let me stay up late a few nights to look at the stars on the beach. You could see so many more stars than you can at home because there weren't any city lights. We even saw a few shooting stars which was amazing. All in all, I had the absolute best time in Florida. I got to do so many fun activities and make awesome memories with my family. I missed my friends at home, but I was so sad when it was time to leave the beach. I'm already begging my parents to take us back again next summer! Florida is like a whole other world compared to where I live. I'll never forget my first trip to the ocean and all the incredible things I got to experience. It was truly an amazing summer vacation.篇2My Favorite English LessonMy name is Emma and I'm in 3rd grade. One of my favorite subjects in school is English class. I really enjoy learning new words and getting better at speaking, reading, and writing in English. Our latest unit in the English textbook was all about animals and nature. It was so much fun!The first lesson was introducing some animal vocabulary words. We learned names like elephant, giraffe, monkey, lion, and zebra. The pictures in the book were really colorful and helped me remember what each animal looked like. My favorite was probably the lion because it looks so strong and brave. We also learned some words for animal homes like nest, den, and hive. I didn't know what a hive was before, but now I know it's where bees live and make their honey. After learning the new vocabulary, we practiced saying the words out loud. My teacher asked each student to pick an animal word, make the sound that animal makes, and have the rest of the class guess which animal it was. It was really funny when Tommy tried to make an elephant noise! He sounded more like a truck engine than an elephant. I made a pretty good monkey sound if I do say so myself - "Ooh ooh ah ah!"The next few lessons were about learning simple sentences describing the animals using the verb "to be." We learned how to say things like "It is a monkey" or "They are birds." One of the exercises had us looking at pictures and writing down what animals we saw using those sentences. I really liked that activity because I got to use my new animal vocabulary words. My absolute favorite lesson though was when we learned about animal habitats. We watched a video that showed the different biomes of the world like forests, grasslands, deserts, and more. It was so cool getting to see actual footage of lions prowling through the African savanna and monkeys swinging through the trees of the Amazon rainforest. I learned that different animals are adapted to live in specific environments based on things like the climate, vegetation, and food sources. Elephants and zebras need the wide open spaces of the grasslands, while sloths and toucans are perfectly suited for life in the rainforest canopy. After the video, we got to make our own diorama projects depicting an animal habitat. I chose to make a savanna scene with a lion, some antelopes, and an acacia tree. I covered a shoebox with brown construction paper for the ground, made the tree out of a branch from my backyard, and used plastic animal figures I already had. My mom helped me use cotton balls to make a few tufts of grass too. When it was all assembled, I was so proud of my little savanna diorama! On the very last day of the unit, my teacher had us present our diorama projects to the class. We got to go up and describe the habitat we made using the vocabulary and sentences we hadlearned. I was a little nervous, but I practiced my lines at home a few times with my mom and dad. When it was my turn, I held up my diorama and said "This is a savanna habitat. The lion lives in the savanna. The antelopes live in the savanna too. They live together in this warm, dry area with grassy plains." I think I did a pretty good job!Overall, I absolutely loved this unit on animals and habitats. It was fun getting to learn about so many cool creatures and where they live in the world. Using real pictures, videos, and hands-on activities made it feel more like a game than just reading from the textbook. I'm already excited to see what our next English unit will be!篇3Title: The Adventures of Sara and TomHi there! My name is Sara, and I'm a third-grade student. Today, I want to tell you all about the exciting adventures my best friend Tom and I had while learning English in our textbook's Unit 2!It all started one sunny morning when we arrived at school. Our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, greeted us with a big smile and announced that we were going to learn about different kinds ofsports and hobbies. Tom and I looked at each other excitedly because we both love playing sports and trying new activities. The first thing we learned was how to talk about the sports we like. Mrs. Johnson asked us, "What sports do you like to play?" I raised my hand and said, "I like to play soccer!" Tom chimed in, "And I like to play basketball!" We practiced saying these sentences a few times, and then Mrs. Johnson introduced us to some new sports words like tennis, swimming, and skating.Next, we learned how to ask and answer questions about our hobbies. Mrs. Johnson asked Tom, "What's your hobby?" Tom replied, "My hobby is reading books." When she asked me the same question, I said, "My hobby is drawing pictures." We learned that the word "hobby" means an activity that we enjoy doing in our free time.As the days went by, we learned more and more about sports and hobbies. We practiced asking each other questions like "Can you play tennis?" and "Do you like to dance?" It was so much fun to learn and practice with our classmates! One day, Mrs. Johnson surprised us with a special activity. She divided us into groups and gave each group a set of pictures showing different sports and hobbies. Our task was to create a story using the pictures and the vocabulary we had learned. Tomand I were in the same group, and we decided to make our story about two friends who loved trying new things. We worked hard on our story, and when it was time to present it to the class, we were a little nervous but also excited. Our story was about two friends named Alex and Emma who loved playing sports and trying new hobbies. They tried everything from skateboarding to painting, and they had so much fun doing it!After we finished our presentation, our classmates clapped and cheered for us. Mrs. Johnson was so proud of all of us and said that we had done an excellent job. Tom and I felt so happy and accomplished. But the adventures didn't stop there! The next week, Mrs. Johnson announced that we were going to have a special sports day at school. We were all so excited! On the day of the event, we got to try different sports like soccer, basketball, and even some fun races.Tom and I teamed up for the three-legged race, and even though we fell a few times, we had so much fun laughing and cheering each other on. At the end of the day, we were all tired but happy.Learning about sports and hobbies in Unit 2 was such an amazing experience. Tom and I made so many wonderful memories, and we can't wait to see what other adventures await us in the next unit! So, that's the story of our adventures in Unit 2. I hope you enjoyed reading about all the fun things we did and learned. Until next time, happy learning!篇4My Fun WeekendLast weekend was so much fun! On Saturday morning, I woke up early because I was really excited. My mom said we were going to the zoo! I love the zoo because I get to see all the cool animals. After breakfast, we got in the car and drove to the zoo. It wasn't too far from our house. When we got there, the first thing I saw was the huge elephant! He was so big and gray, and he was using his long trunk to eat some leaves. I wished I had a trunk like that so I could grab things far away.Next, we went to see the monkeys. They were so funny, swinging from branch to branch and making funny noises. Onemonkey came really close to the glass and stuck out his tongue at me! I stuck my tongue out too and we both laughed. Monkeys are my favorite animals at the zoo. Then we saw the lions. The dad lion was huge with a big furry mane around his head. He was sleeping in the sun, but the mom lion and the baby lions were playing together. The baby lions were so cute, jumping and pouncing on each other. I would love to have a baby lion as a pet, but Mom said they would get too big and might eat me!After that, we went to the bird house. There were so many colorful birds flying around and singing pretty songs. I saw parrots, toucans, and even a big pink flamingo! The flamingo was standing on one leg, which looked really hard. I tried standing on one leg too, but I fell over. Being a flamingo is not easy!We also saw the polar bears swimming in their big pool of water. They looked so soft and cuddly, but Mom said they are actually very dangerous bears. I wouldn't want to give a polar bear a hug, that's for sure!My favorite part was the petting zoo where you could actually touch and feed some of the animals. I got to feed a goat and a little pony. The goat's tongue was really rough, but thepony was so soft and gentle. I wish I could take them both home with me!After walking around all day, we were getting pretty hungry. So we had a picnic lunch near the playground area. I had a yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some apple slices, and a juice box. Then I got to play on the swings and slides for a little while before we left.On the way home, I looked out the window and saw a huge rainbow in the sky! What a perfect end to a perfect day at the zoo. I had so much fun seeing all the amazing animals. I can't wait to go back again soon!篇5My Favorite Season: Spring!Spring is my absolute favorite season of the whole year! Everything seems to come alive again after the cold, dreary winter. The weather gets warmer, trees start budding with new leaves, and beautiful flowers begin to bloom everywhere you look. It's such a happy, colorful time! One of the best parts of spring is all the fun outdoor activities you can do again after being cooped up inside formonths. My friends and I love going to the park and playing on the swings, slides, and jungle gyms. We run around chasing each other, kick balls, and do cartwheels on the grass. Sometimes we even have picnics and eat our lunch outside on the warm, sunny days.Another great spring activity is flying kites! There always seem to be just the right breezy conditions to get kites soaring up high in the blue skies. My dad helps me get my kite untangled and up in the air. It's so exciting watching it catch the wind and zoom up towards the clouds. I run along trying to keep it airborne for as long as possible until it inevitably crashes back down to earth.Springtime also means it's time for lots of fun holidays and celebrations! Of course, there's Easter with all its cute bunnies, chicks, and delicious candy. My brother and I can hardly contain our excitement for the big Easter egg hunt every year. We frantically search high and low, scooping up as many plastic eggs stuffed with chocolates and jellybeans as we can find hidden around the yard and house.A few weeks after Easter, we get to celebrate my mom's favorite spring holiday - Mother's Day! My siblings and I always make her homemade cards and gifts like potholders or pictureframes. We help my dad make mom a special breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and her favorite fruit. She loves getting flowers from us too - colorful tulips are her favorite.Once Mother's Day has passed, that means summer vacation is just around the corner! Warmer temperatures allow me to spend more time outdoors skateboarding, swimming at the community pool, going on family bike rides, and having lemonade stands with friends. We run around catching fireflies in jars at night and stay outside as late as we're allowed until it gets too dark.Spring is also an amazing time for nature. I love watching birds migrating back north and building their nests. Robins start pulling up worms from the damp soil and bug activity picks up too. Fuzzy bumblebees emerge, buzzing from flower to flower. Trees get covered in pink and white blossoms. My grandma's garden comes alive with blooming daffodils, lilies, irises, and more. The sights, smells, and sounds of renewed life are some of the best parts of springtime. The earthy scent of freshly planted gardens and dewdrops on blades of green grass is one of my favorite smells. I can hear birds happily chirping and squirrels scampering around again. The bright pops of colors from flowersare a cheerful contrast against the dull grays and browns leftover from winter.Even just playing outside on a warm spring day is way more fun! You can wear t-shirts and shorts instead of big, heavy coats. Having the sun shining down on you gives you a energizing boost of Vitamin D after going so long without it. Everything seems fresher and more vibrant in spring. It's always bittersweet to move on from your old homeroom, friends, and teachers you've had all year. But the prospect of a fun-filled summer vacation overrides any sadness about the ending school year. Just thinking about sleeping in late, swimming every day, camping trips, amusement parks, and 3 whole months with no schoolwork makes me smile!I really love all the seasons for different reasons. But there's just something extraordinarily special and rejuvenating about spring. Everything feels new, refreshed, and full of possibilities after spring's big awakening. Summer may get the most hype for kids, but spring will always be number one in my book! Nothing beats those warm, sunny spring days spent carefree and playing outdoors from sun-up to sun-down. Spring is simply the BEST!篇6My English Book is So Much Fun!Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm in third grade. I love learning English - it's one of my favorite subjects in school. We just started a new unit in our English book and it's all about animals. I'm so excited to learn more!In the first lesson, we read a story called "A Day at the Zoo." It was about a kid named Jack who went to the zoo with his family. They saw so many cool animals like lions, elephants, and monkeys. My favorite part was when Jack got to feed the giraffes! They have such long necks and their tongues are really rough. I would love to feed a giraffe someday. After we read the story, we learned some new vocabulary words like "roar", "trunk", and "stripes." Then we practiced using them in sentences. I made up a silly sentence about a lion with stripes and a trunk. My teacher laughed and said I was being creative. I like when we can use our imaginations in English class. The next day, we sang a song called "The Animal Boogie." It was all about different animals and how they move. We had to do the movements and sounds for each one. I thought the funniest one was the elephant because we had to stomp around and swing our arm like a trunk. The whole class was laughing so hard! Music and dancing make English class really fun. Then we started reading a new story called "My Pet Rabbit." It's about a girl who gets a rabbit as a pet. So far we've learned that her rabbit's name is Thumper and he likes to eat carrots. I used to have a rabbit when I was little, so I can relate to this story. My rabbit's name was Snowy and he was pure white and so soft. I really miss having him as a pet. Maybe I'll ask my parents if I can get another rabbit after we finish this unit!In our textbook, there are also some short comic strips about animals. One of them is about a boy who wants a dog for a pet but his mom says no. Then at the end, he gets a goldfish instead!I thought that was so funny because a goldfish is nothing like a dog. The comics always make me laugh. My favorite page so far is the one with all the different animal riddles. Like "What kind of animal has keys?" The answer is a "monkey!" Get it? Because they have "mon-keys!" Such a silly joke, but I love riddles like that. Another one is "What do you call a funny duck?" A "quacker!" See, English can be punny! There are so many other fun activities coming up for this unit too. We're going to learn how to write instructions for taking care of a pet. We'll watch a video about working at a animal shelter. And at the end, we're going to have an "Animal Parade"where we can dress up like our favorite animal. I'm definitely going to be a monkey so I can scratch and screech and act goofy!English is just the best subject. I get so excited when it's time for English class every day. We read engaging stories, learn new vocabulary, play language games, and just have an all-around great time. My English teacher is wonderful too - she makes sure we never get bored.I've only just started this new animal unit, but I can already tell it's going to be awesome. We learn so many practical things, like following instructions and writing descriptions. But my favorite part is being able to use my creativity, whether it's making up silly sentences, acting out animal movements, or coming up with jokes and riddles.I can't wait to see what other fun activities we'll do over the next few weeks. Learning English is such an adventure! By the time we finish this unit, I bet I'll know a ton of new words and facts about all sorts of cool creatures. Thanks to my English book, every day is filled with interesting stories, laughter, and making wonderful memories. Isn't learning fun?。
