Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have read.(1)During the 1990s, I had spent five months in a bleak African country, Niger. There were many things I found difficult about that place the beggars were my biggest most constant gripes. They would continually thrust their hands into my face, shouting," Cadeau! Cadeau!"(gift in French)After I had finished my nursing stint there, a friend and I headed for neighbouring Burkina Faso to work in a health clinic with much enthusiasm. "It's much greener in Burkina. Even the Coke tastes better," the locals assuredus.Arriving by taxi in our destination in Burkina, we began to unload. With my daypack wedged between my legs, I reached for my larger piece of luggage. Out of the darkness, a motorcycle with two men approached slowly. Without warning, one of the men grabbed my daypack as the motorcycle swept close by and disappeared into the night. The bag had my passport, money traveller's checks, camera in it. I was in deep trouble and the nearest Australian consulate(领事馆) was in Ethiopia. How was I ever going to get a new passport anytime soon?In the weeks that followed, I guarded the rest of my valuables and regarded the locals withsuspicion. All I wanted was to leave that terrible place. Then walking through the Burkina's streets one day, an old woman approached me and thrust her hand in my face. "Dear lady Cadeau! Cadeau!" she cried. I had enough. I told her firmly in French," I have no 'cadeau'. I have no money. A thief stole all my money and now I can't get out of your country. I can't give you anything." The beggar woman listened attentively and pondered my words. Then her face crumpled into a toothless grin as she reached into the folds of her dress. "Then I will give you a cadeau," she announced. Kindly, she placed an old dark brown coin in my palm. I looked at it in shock. It was a minuscule amount of money but for this woman the coin represented a meal. At that moment, I felt the shame of affluence and the humility of charity. She had given me a gift disproportionate to anything that I had ever donated. In the midst of her poverty, she was able to give me something priceless. I saw then, theunexpected beauty of the people and appreciated profoundly the quiet dignity of the poor.56. But it wasn't until recently that researchers were about to see the 'big picture' of the vast rain forest. The new findings? Almost 400 billion trees belonging to 16,000 different types grow in theAmazon. More than 100 experts analyzed data from 1,170 surveys to come up with the figures. The vast size and difficult terrain (地形) of the Amazon basin has historically restricted studies of tree communities to a local or regional level, making it difficult to see the big picture. This lack ofinformation has hindered science and conservation efforts, according to experts. The new findings, published in the journal Science, provide the first estimates of the abundance, frequency and distribution of many thousands of Amazonian trees. Extrapolations based on the data, collected over 10 years, suggest that greater Amazonia is home to around 390 billion individual trees. The area covered includes the amazon Basin and the Guiana Shield, spanning an area roughly the size of the 48 adjoining U.S. States. While around 16,000 types of trees are believed to exist in the Amazon, half the total number ofthe types are thought to belong to just 227 species, including Brazil nut, chocolate and rubber. "This isvery valuable information for further research and policy making," said research co-author Dr. Hans ter Steege, from the Netherlands. The study also offers insights into the rarest tree species in the Amazon. According to amathematical model used in the study, roughly 6,000 Amazonnian tree types have populations of fewer than one thousand. This would automatically qualify them for inclusion in the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species(CNRLTS)-if they could be found and identified.U.S. ecologist and co-author of the study, Professor Miles Silman said," Species too rare to find account for much of the planet's biodiversity. It's a real problem for conservation that the species at the greatest risk of extinction may disappear before we ever find them. It's a concem for the whole human race."62. The underlined word hinder is closest in meaning toA. generatedB. blockedC. sponsoredD. improved63. According to the passage, what made the collection of species information so difficult?A. The lack of experienced professionals in the field.B. The dangers of certain types of species.C. The big area and complicated geographic situation.D. The unfavourable government law in the field.64. Which of the following statements is TRUE?A. The amazon rain forest covers 10 percent of the world's dry land.B. The conservation of amazon has been done well.C. About 8000 types of trees belong to over 220 species.D. About 6000 Amazonnian tree types have died out.65. Flowers ___50___ burst out everywhere on the same day, as if they were in tune with one another. ____51____how do plants ―know‖ when to flower? It is a question that has ___52___biologists for years. But a US research group may have finally answered it – the ___53___ lies in a protein called FKF1. This allows plants to ___54___ the differences in day lengths so that they can tell the seasons are changing. The study was published in the May 25 issue of the journal Science. Researchers spotted the FKF1 protein when they were studying a plant called Arabidopsis. They found that the FKF1 protein was a photoreceptor (感光器). This means it is___55___ to and can be activated (激活) by sunlight. Plants produce this protein every day in the late afternoon throughout the year. If there is no light at this time, ___56___ in winter when the sun goes down early, the protein won’t be activated. But when spring comes and the days get longer, the FKF1 protein can be activated by ___57___ and the plants ―know‖ it is time to flower. “The presence of light in the late afternoon is the___58___ for plants that the days are getting longer and that it is the optimal (最佳的) time for flowering,” explained Takato Imaizumi, assistant professor at the University of Washington and leader of the study. This daylight-sensing system also keeps plants from flowering when conditions are poor for growing, such as during autumn or winter when the weather is cold and days are short. ___59___ researchers have only studied how the FKF1 protein works in the Arabidopsis, they believe that the process is similar in many other more complex plants, including crops such as rice and wheat. Birds can fly – this is something that we take for granted. But have you ever thought about how they developed this enviable ability? It may be impossible for us to go back in time in person to witness how it happened, but scientists from Yale University, US, studied the fossils (化石) of ancient birds. These fossils are like recorded tapes of ancient times that took the scientists back 150 million years. Back then, there lived a kind of animal known as the Archaeopteryx. It is considered to be the earliest bird because it had feathers and wings — the key factors for a bird to fly. Meanwhile, it also had features of a reptile (爬行动物), such as teeth in its mouth, claws (爪子) on its wings, and a long, bony (有骨的) tail, which means the ancestors of birds were probably reptiles. In order to escape from dangerous animals, reptiles leaped from tree to tree. They gradually grew feathers on their arms so they could leap a little farther, then a little farther still. However, they were far from becoming true fliers because their wings and feathers were quite different from those of birds today. Looking closely at the fossils, scientists found that ancient feathers contained many layers of long feathers, like a penguin’s. This made the wings rather heavy and difficult for birds to move up and down. ―We don’t think these things could take off from the ground,‖ said Nicholas Longrich, of Yale University, lead author of the study. ―They can’t fly like a modern bird.‖ This is why scientists concluded that early feathers were only used by birds to glide (滑翔) from high trees, or keep warm, or maybe as camouflage (伪装), but not flying, according to National Geographic. Over the next millions of years, the evolution of feathers never stopped. Birds developed wings that included a layer of long feathers covered with short feathers on top. Researchers have announced the result of two studies on the health effects of the drug aspirin. One study shows aspirin can sharply reduce the chance that a healthy, old man will suffer from a heart attack. The study offered two new results from earlier findings. It said taking one aspirin pill every other day helped only healthy men over the age of fifty. It also said aspirin gave the greatest protection against heart attacks to men with low blood cholesterol(胆固醇)levels. Earlier in the United States began a major aspirin study in the early 1980s. It included 22,000 healthy men doctors. All were between the ages of forty and eighty-four. More than 11,000 of the doctors took a harmless pill that contained no drug. The men did not know which kind of pill they were taking. The doctors who took aspirin suffered 44% fewer heart attacks than those taking the harmless pill. 139 men who took aspirin suffered from heart attacks. of them died. 239 men who did not Ten take aspirin suffered from heart attacks.Twenty-six of them died. The researchers said the doctors' study provides clear proof that taking aspirin can prevent a first heart attack in healthy, older men. They said, however, the result does not mean every man over the age of fifty should take aspirin. They said aspirin couldn't help men who do not eat healthy foods, who smoke cigarettes and who are fat. The researchers said men who think they would be helped by taking aspirin should talk with their doctors first. 80. We may learn that the new use of aspirin is to__________. 81. 上海市宝山区高一下学期期末考试英语试题Ⅱ.Grammar and VocabularySection A (10%)Directions: After reading the passages below, fill in the blanks to make the passages coherent and grammatically correct. For the blanks with a given word, fill in each blank with the proper form of the given word;for the other blanks, use one word that best fits each blank. In France, there once lived a man named Louis Pasteur, who was a doctor of science. The thing (17) occupied his mind was the disease rabies."I must find the rabies germs that hide inside people and make them so sick (18) they die,"he thought. "Once I find that invisible enemy,I'll think of a way to kill it.I just know I (19) do it."Many people thought Pasteur was wasting his time. Some laughed at him and said,"You'll never do it.No one can find (20) invisible enemy!"Pasteur didn't care (21) people thought,he believed in (22) .He kept right on working.Meanwhile,in German,a boy named Joey was about to get into trouble. He wasn't a bad boy,he was just thoughtless,as children sometimes are.He was playing with a dog.But this dog was sick with rabies,(23) made the dog mad. When Joey got tired of playing with the dog,he started to go home.Unfortunately, the dog escaped from behind the fence and bit Joey. The invisible enemy—the rabies germs—were passed on from the dog to Joey.Soon the little boy was very sick.Everyone knew that if someone was bitten by a sick, mad dog, that person would become infected with rabies and die.His parents could only wait. But then there was news.Joey's mother saw it and shouted for joy."A doctor of science (24) (find) a way to save people like Joey!"she said."He says sick people like Joey have been infected by an invisible enemy, and he's found a way to kill it!"The man,of course, was Louis Pasteur. He had done what he had set out to do.Joey's parents quickly prepared Joey (25) the long journey to Paris."Dr.Pasteur,"said the mother upon their arrival at Pasteur's residence,"we've come a long way.Our little boy (26) (bite) by a mad dog,and he's very sick. Can you help us?""Perhaps,"said Pasteur."I've invented a vaccine(疫苗).It is strong enough to kill the invisible enemy.Joey was finally saved and later became a gatekeeper at the Pasteur Institute.Section B (10%)Directions: Complete the following passage by using the words in the box. Each word can only be used once.Note that there is one word more than you need.A.threatB.certainC.developingD.necessarilyE.checkedF.potentialG.speciallyH.connectionI.preserveJ.exerciseK.healthyYou've probably heard of the list of factors that put you at risk for heart disease: smoking, poor diet, lack of_27_ and so on.But did you know that the health of your gums(牙龈)may also affect your chance of_28_heart disease?More than 120 studies have investigated the_29_link between gum disease and heart disease. Most of them say that gum disease is a risk factor for heart disease and other diseases that affect blood vessels. This means that people with gum disease often develop heart disease but that gum disease doesn't_30_cause heart disease.Doctors and scientists have proposed a number of possible reasons for this connection. One common factor is inflammation(发炎),which occurs when the body senses a_31_and sends white blood cells to attack it.This leads to painful swelling(肿胀),which is the main symptom of gum disease.White inflammation hasn't been shown to cause heart disease,it often accompanies it.And as it turns out,the same types of bacteria often lead to inflammation in both diseases. It's also possible that the_32_has less to do with biology than with an individual's habits.Perhaps people who take good care of their teeth make other healthy choices that prevent heart disease. So what does this mean for your health?Since the role of gum disease in causing heart disease isn't_33_,don't take it for granted that taking care of your teeth will protect your heart.Certainly, brushing and cleaning are not replacement for exercise and a_34_diet.But keeping your mouth healthy and avoiding gum disease are still good goals to go after. They'll spare you pain and high dental bills and keep your bright smile complete. This research does mean that if you have gum disease, you should get your heart_35_this is especially true if you are at risk of heart disease for other reason, such as smoking.Who would have thought that your mouth and your heart would be connected? The body is a complex and mysterious thing,so do all you can to_36_it.Ⅲ.Reading ComprehensionSection A (14%)Directions: For each blank in the following passage, there are four words marked A,B,C and D.Fill in each blank with the word or phrase that best fits the context. The secret to Dwanyne Johnson's success is simple—he gives people what they want.TROUBLED YOUTHWhen he was young,Johnson's family_37_with money, which led him down a bad path. While they lived in Hawaii,Johnson stole form tourists and high-end stores. When this_38_police involvement,he decided to make a_39_. Rather than donating blood to her cause, you wave the insect away. But that rarely works.Your body usually ends up with one or more itchy(痒的)red welts somewhere. Are there better ways to drive the annoying insects away?Yes, indeed!Preventing mosquito bites can also stop infections with dangerous illness.Mosquito-borne disease such as the Zika virus or malaria have terrible results.Several million people worldwide die from disease carried by mosquitoes each year, adding urgency to the battle.Studies have shown that certain groups of people are easy to be bitten by mosquitoes. These include those who are pregnant, have a higher-than-normal boy temperature or have type O blood. These groups should be aware they are more attractive to mosquitoes and stay inside whenever possible, especially at dawn and dusk. Many breeds of mosquitoes are more likely to bite at these times.People should also wear light, bright colors as dark colors attract the insects.Rubbing mosquito repellents(驱蚊剂)on exposed skin keeps the insects away for a time.Studies show that those containing DEET are most effective.Depending on the brand of repellent, the chemical keeps mosquitoes away for 5 to 13 hours. Some plant oils can be used instead of DEET,but they require more frequent application-every two hours—and in greater concentrations.Oils such as lemon eucalyptus or citronella are two possibilities.Another chemical, permethrin, can be applied to clothing to ward off mosquitoes. The chemical sticks to the fabric and will last through a few washings.Clothing that has been factory-treated with the chemical is alsoavailable. The manufactures say that it will remain the permethrin for about 70 washings.Mosquito coil(圈,卷)also keep mosquitoes away. However, the smoke from them pollutes and can damage the lungs,so they should be used with care. When you're inside, simply plugging in some fans will keep mosquitoes away as they are weak fliers.Everyone wants to avoid mosquito bites,so try several methods to see what works for you.56.which of the following is true according to the passage?A.Mosquitoes usually don't like dark colors.B.Mosquitoes don't like people with type O blood.C.It's not easy to remove some chemical treated off clothing.D.It's not easy to use mosquito coils to drive mosquitoes off.57.What does the phrase ward off in Para 5 most probably mean?A.prevent fromB.take inC.break awayD.turn out58.What is the best title of the passage?A.How to get rid of mosquitoes.B.Keep mosquitoes away.C.Be aware of mosquitoes.D.Pay attention to mosquitoes.59.What does this article imply about mosquitoes?A.Electric fans can be used to blow mosquitoes away.B.People had better use the methods together to avoid mosquitoes.C.Mosquitoes would like to bite people at dawn or dusk.D.Different people should choose different ways to avoid mosquitoes.Section C (4%)Directions: Read the following passage.Fill in each blank with a proper sentence given in the box. Each sentence can be used only once.Note that there are two more sentences than you need.A.English is closely related to German, but it uses many words from French.B.English is a multi-culture,which has different background and people.C.This is partly because English includes words from so many languages.D.Over fifty countries have English as their official language and use it for higher education.E.Some English speakers use words only to fill pauses when they talk.F.People usually use some special words to avoid embarrassing occasions.Let's learn about EnglishIf you're reading this, you've probably already spent many hours studying English. But here are facts you may not know about the language:English is one of the most common languages in the world. Some experts estimate that English has about 339 million native speakers._60_.This does not include the United States, which has no official language.English is also the official language of the sky. That means all pilots use it on international flights._61_This is because a French-speaking ruler conquered England in the 11th century.English also includes words from many other languages. This is because people in British colonies spoke many languages.Words from many of those languages were added to English.Other words are added even today. As a result,English has one of the largest vocabularies of any language. You've probably noticed that English spelling can be hard to predict. For example, the long "e"sound can be spelled eight different ways. And the letters—"ough"—can be pronounced nine ways!_62_Spelling of English words often reflected their origins. The most common letter used in English is "e".But more words begin with "s" than any other in the alphabet. Most English words thyme with at least one other word. But month, orange, silver and purple don't thyme with anything._63_Some common examples are like, just and basically. These words are called 'crutch words',and it's best to avoid them.People who use too many crutch words sound like they aren't sure what they're trying to say. However much you know about English, there's always more to learn about this strange and interesting language.Ⅳ.Translation (15%) (3+3+4+5)Directions: Translate the following sentences into English, using the words given in the brackets.64.现在看来,学生必须下定决心学好英语口语了。

He had a very special reason for wanting to impress her with just the right gift. All girls liked perfume. That raised another problem, however. What kind did she prefer? He couldn’t ask her because that would ruin the surprise. At last the young man hit upon a brilliant idea. That afternoon, pretending to take his girlfriend’ fox terrier, little dog for a walk, the young man and the dog went directly to the perfume counter of the town’s biggest department store. Good! There was a large array of perfume. He beckoned a shop assistant, instructing her to take out a lot of perfume test paper and wave each kind under the dog’s nose. Nestled in the young man’s arms, the terrier began to be restless and bored as this seemingly pointless game went on. Then Fritz suddenly become frisky, wiggling in the young man’s arms and barking excitedly, as the assistant waved one piece of test paper under its nose.“I’ll take that one,” said the young man to the assistant. The price was high, but it was worth it, he thought.“My favorite perfume!” said the delighted girl the next evening as she unwrapped the package. “How did you know?” she asked, dabbing some perfume behind each ear.“Intuition(直觉), I guess.” Said the young man, deciding that it wasn’t exactly wrong to tell a lie under the circumstances. The introduction of the Internet results in a new kind of newspaper. That is called digital newspaper. Unlike the traditional newspapers issued by using print on the paper, digital newspapers publish on the Internet. This kind of newspaper is not only the digital edition of papernewspapers. It contains more technical devices.Because the Internet creates a special condition, there are four key changes of digital newspapers compared with traditional newspapers. First of all, digital newspapers are not updated day by day. If any news happens, there will be correlative reports on the newspaper websites immediately. The instant update is the most important development of contemporary newspapers caused by the Internet. In addition, it can also include hyperlinks(超链接). It is another advantage of digital newspapers. Readers can access another concerned website through these hyperlinks. It is more convenient for readers to obtain detailed information. Some online newspaper websites have a BBS (Bulletin Board System), databases and other distinctive services. Thus different from traditional newspapers, digital newspapers can exchange information with readers. McAdams(1995) claimed that unlike traditional newspapers, the readers could expect some feedbacks of online newspapers. Another change is electronic newspapers can extend the scope(范围) traditional newspapers could cover. A case in point is there is a website which contains almost 200 newspapers from 55 countries. Anyone, who wants to see some newspapers are not published in his area, can just read them online. Ultimately, there have been some digital newspapers with Multi-media such as visible or audible reports in it. Anyhow, the changes of newspapers are obvious and available. Newspapers are and will be developed to more potential because of the introduction of the Internet.(Note: Answer the questions or complete the statements with NO MORE THAN 10 WORDS.)72. What leads to the birth of digital newspapers?73. The most important advantage of the digital newspaper is _____________________________.74. She already had more clothes than she knew what to do with them, so he couldn’t get any kind of apparel. She never ate sweets, so candy was out of the question. What then? As is known to us, Washington University in St. Louis became the first college in the United States to ban (禁止) selling bottled water in 2009. Since then, more than a dozen small colleges and schools have done the same. The ban isn’t because the schools don’t want students to have easy access to water. Instead, the goal is to encourage students to bring reusable bottles to save money and, more importantly, to save the environment. Many people believe that producing and using bottled water not only wastes money but also harms the environment. They say that bottled water is unnecessary because public water supplies in the U.S. are among the best in the world. These people believe that water fountains and reusable bottles with easy access to filling stations are a better choice. But the makers of bottled water argue that plastic bottles make up a small portion of the natio n’s total waste. They say it’s unfair to single out (单独挑出) their product when so many other items are packaged (包装) in plastic containers, and what’s more, water is a healthy choice compared to some sodas and juices that are also sold at school. What do you think: Should sales of bottle water be banned from schools? Concepts of reading have changed 50 over t he centuries. During the 1950’s and 1960’s especially, increased attention has been devoted to 51 the reading process. Although experts agree that reading 52 a complex organization of higher mental 53 , they disagree about the exact nature of the process. Some experts, who regard language primarily as a code using symbols to represent sounds, 54 reading as simply the decoding(解码)of symbols into the sounds they stand for. These authorities 55 that meaning, being concerned with thinking, must be taught independently of the decoding process. Others maintain that reading is inexplainably related to thinking, and that a child who pronounces sounds without 56 their meaning is not truly reading. The reader, 57 some, is not just a person with a theoretical ability to read but one who 58 reads. Many adults, although they have the ability to read, have never read a book in its 59 . With lower-quality lenses(透镜) and image sensors, smartphones probably won’t replace professional video cameras anytime soon. Still, some creative filmmakers are extending the borders of smartphone moviemaking by shooting professional-quality films using only smartphones.Soon after Apple’s iPhone 4 was released, two filmmakers decided to make a short film using only their iPhone 4s. Michael Koerbel and Anna Elizabeth James shot and edited the one-and-a-half-minute film Apple of My Eye in only 48 hours. Audiences were fascinated with the film, in which a man and his grandfather connect emotionally while admiring a model train set in a store window. The filmmakers followed up their success with Goldilocks, an extraordinary spy novel told over nine, three-minute films. Many filmmakers are convinced that smartphone films are here to stay. One sign is their inclusion in major film festivals. In February 2012, organizers of the Berkshire International Film Festival staged the 10 X 10 On North Festival. Entries included Oliver by Hooman Khalili, an award-winning film about a girl whose special powers enable her to brighten the lives of three lonely people. Another entry was Yearlapse’11, a 365-second film by Zsolt Haraszti that describes an actual journey he made from New York to London.During the festival, which ran from February 16 to 26, these and many other smartphone films were shown at the Beacon Cinema in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Sir Alexander Fleming did not, as legend would have it, look at the mold ( 霉) on a piece of cheese and get the idea for penicillin there and then. He experimented with antibacterial substances for nine years before he made his discovery. Inventions and innovations almost always come out of tough trial and error. Innovation is like soccer; even the best players miss the goal and have their shots blocked much more frequently than they score. The point is that the players who score most are the ones who take most shots at the goal—and so it goes with innovation in any field of activity. The prime difference between innovation and others is one of approach.Everybody gets ideas, but innovators work consciously on theirs, and they follow them through until they prove practicable or otherwise. What ordinary people see as fanciful abstractions, professional innovators see as solid possibilities.“Creative thinking may mean simply the realization that there’s no particular goodness in doing things the way they have always been done.” Wrote Rudolph Flesch, a language authority. Th is accounts for our reaction to seemingly simple innovations like plastic garbage bags and suitcases on wheels that make life more convenient: “How come nobody thought of that before?”The creative approach begins with the proposal that nothing be as it appears. Innovators will not accept that there is only one way to do anything. Faced with getting from A to B, the average person will automatically set out on the best-known and apparently simplest route. The innovator will search for alternate courses, which may prove easier in the long run and are sure to be more interesting and challenging even if they lead to dead ends. Highly creative individuals really do march to a different drummer.72. What does the author probably mean by “untaught mind” in th e first paragraph?A. There are good carbs and bad carbs. Refined and processed foods, like white bread or white rice, are examples of bad carbs. Good carbs include whole wheat! On the contrary, studies show that people who eat breakfast tend to eat fewer calories throughout the day. And if you know you’re going to be eating a big meal later, don’t starve yourself in order to “save your calories.” You’ll just eat more during the meal because you’re so hungry! To lose weight and keep it off, eat great 80 percent of the time, but indulge in a treat or two the other 20 percent. That experiences influence future behaviour is evidence of an obvious but nevertheless remarkable activity called remembering. Learning could not occur without the function popularly named memory. Constant practice has such an effect on memory as to lead to skillful performance on the piano, to recitation of a poem, and even to reading and understanding these words. So called intelligent behaviour demands memory, remembering being a primary requirement for reasoning. The ability to solve any problem or even to recognize that a problem exists depends on memory. Typically, the decision to cross a street is based on remembering many earlier experiences.Practice (or review) tends to build and maintain memory for a task or for any learned material. Over a period of no practice what has been learned tends to be forgotten; and the adaptive consequences may not seem obvious. Yet, dramatic instances of sudden forgetting can be seen to be adaptive. In this sense, the ability to forget can be interpreted to have survived through a process of natural selection in animals. Indeed, when one’s memory of an emotionally painful experience leads to serious anxiety, forgetting may produce relief. Nevertheless, an evolutionary interpretation might make it difficult to understand how the commonly gradual process of forgetting survived natural selection. In thinking about the evolution of memory together with all its possible aspects, it is helpful to consider what would happen if memories failed to fade. Forgetting clearly aids situation in time, since old memories weaken and the new tend to stand out, providing clues for inferring duration.Another line of thought assumes a memory storage system of limited capacity that provides adaptive flexibility specifically through forgetting. In this view, continual adjustments are made between learning or memory storage (input) and forgetting(output). Indeed, there is evidence that the rate at which individuals forget is directly related to how much they have learned. Such data offer common support of contemporary models of memory that assume an input-output balance.(Note: Answer the questions or complete the statements in NO MORE THAN TEN WORDS)81.
