然而,学生在英语学习过程中,仍存在一定的困难。一方面,部分学生对一般现在时态的掌握不够熟练,需要教师在教学中进行针对性的巩固;另一方面,学生的听力、口语表达能力有待提高,需要教师在课堂教学中给予更多关注和指导。
2.视频播放完毕后,教师邀请学生分享视频中他们最喜欢的活动,引导学生用英语进行简单描述,如:“I like swimming because it's refreshing.”。

Learning Goals:
1. Learn different types of transportation.
2. Be able to talk about how to get to places.
Teaching Procedure:
Step 1: Lead-in
Guessing Game: Listen and guess the types of transportation
Students will be given several pieces of sound to guess what type of transportation it is. In this way, teacher will lead in the names of different types of transportation:
go by bike = ride a/one's bike ; go by car = take/drive the car ; go by train = take the train ; go by subway=take the subway ; go by plane = go by air = take the plane ; go by bus = take the bus ; go by ship = by sea = take the ship ; go by taxi = take the taxi
Step 2: Consolidation
1. Consolidate the ways to describe transportation
Teacher will give students a topic sentence: “How does he get to school? ” and ask students to answer the question in three ways by looking at the pictures
shown on the screen.
2. Language points learning
Teacher will give a detailed explanation about the usage of transportation.
3. Finish Activity 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b

Teacher will give a detailed explanation about two key sentences in this unit:
(1) -- How long does it take ... ? -- It takes ... (hours/minutes/seconds)

5. Listen to 2c and fill in the blank
Teacher will give students two listening scripts and ask students to listen to the conversations carefully to fill in the blank. While listening, students will write down the key words, key phrases and sentences learned above.
