如何建立一个好的第一印象英语作文

如何建立一个好的第一印象英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Make a Good First ImpressionThey say you only get one chance to make a first impression, and in my experience, that's absolutely true. First impressions are crucial in all kinds of situations - meeting new people, going for a job interview, or even just starting a new class. The way you present yourself in those initial moments can shape how others perceive you from then on. That's why it's so important to know how to make a good first impression. The first step is to look the part. As cliche as it sounds, appearance really does matter when it comes to first impressions. You want to dress neatly and appropriately for the occasion. Ifit's a formal setting like a job interview, opt for professional business attire. But if it's more casual, like meeting friends of friends, you can get away with something a little more relaxed but still neat and put-together. Pay attention to personal grooming too - make sure your hair is tidy, your nails are clean, and you don't have any stray hairs or stains on your clothes.Beyond just looking presentable though, your appearance also says something about your personality. The colors, styles, and level of formality you choose can hint at traits like creativity, professionalism, or confidence. So put some thought into the subtle messages your outfit might be sending.Of course, looking good is only half the battle when trying to make a good impression. You need to back it up with confident and engaging body language too. This starts with your posture - stand up straight with your shoulders back. Slouching or hunching over can make you look insecure or disinterested. Make eye contact when speaking to people, and don't forget to smile! A warm, friendly smile can instantly make you seem more approachable.Your handshake matters too. Go for a firm grip, not too tight but definitely not a dead fish either. Maintain eye contact and smile as you shake hands to show confidence and engagement. And while we're on the topic of hands, be mindful of your hand gestures and fidgeting as these can seem nervous or distracted.Beyond just physical cues, the way you communicate plays a huge role in creating a positive impression. Speak clearly and at a good volume - you don't want people straining to hear you. Enunciate your words properly, and avoid filler words like "um"or "like" as much as you can. If you have a habit of using slang or profanity, try to minimize that in more formal situations. When meeting someone new, make an effort to be an engaged listener. Ask them questions about themselves and their interests. People generally love to talk about themselves, so give them that opportunity. Nod, smile, and make small comments to show you're paying attention as they speak. But don't go overboard with the listening responses either - a few well-timed "oh realllys" and "that's interesting" will suffice. Most importantly, don't interrupt! Let people finish their thoughts before giving your own input. As the conversation flows, share some tidbits about yourself too, but be careful not to dominate and make it all about you. Strive to achieve a healthy balance between speaking and listening. When it is your turn to talk, tell a few engaging personal stories or anecdotes that highlight your personality and interests in a positive light. Just be sure to keep it relatively concise and avoid rambling on and on.Positivity and enthusiasm can also go a long way in creating a great first impression. Approach the situation with an upbeat, friendly attitude. Smile, make eye contact, and actively engage. Don't be afraid to let your passion for a topic show when itcomes up in conversation. A little bit of authentic excitement is far preferable to a completely flat affect. At the same time, you'll want to stay away from controversial topics like politics or religion that could potentially offend or put people off, especially when you're just getting to know them. Keep the subjects light and positive until you've built up more of a rapport. You'll also want to avoid anything too personal or private until the relationship has progressed.Depending on the situation, a touch of humor and wit can be great for putting people at ease and making your introduction more memorable in a good way. Just be sure to keep it classy - steer clear of anything crass, insulting, or offensive. Read the room, and adjust the extent of your jokes accordingly. Finally, good manners and etiquette should be a given when trying to make a positive first impression. Things like saying please and thank you, not checking your phone constantly, and generally being considerate of others can really make you stand out in the best way possible. Essentially, just treat people with respect and they'll be much more likely to view you positively from the get-go.Making a good first impression takes some careful attention and effort, but it's so worth it in the long run. The way youpresent yourself in those first crucial moments really can open doors by shaping how others initially perceive you. By being presentable, confident, polite, and engaged, you're setting the stage for positive personal and professional relationships down the line. So take the time to prepare and practice - after all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!篇2How to Make a Good First ImpressionThey say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and as a student, I can't agree more. First impressions are crucial, whether it's meeting new classmates, talking to a teacher for the first time, or even introducing yourself to your new roommate. A good first impression can open doors and create opportunities, while a bad one can close them before you even have a chance. So, how do you make sure you're putting your best foot forward? Well, it all starts with being aware of the little things that can make a big difference.Appearance MattersLet's face it, we all judge books by their covers, at least initially. That's why your appearance is so important when itcomes to making a good first impression. Now, I'm not saying you need to dress like you're walking the red carpet, but a neat, well-groomed appearance can go a long way.Start with the basics: clean, wrinkle-free clothes that fit well. Avoid anything too revealing or with offensive graphics or slogans. Pay attention to your grooming, too – tidy hair, clean nails, and fresh breath can all contribute to a polished look. But it's not just about how you look; it's also about how you carry yourself. Good posture and a confident (but not arrogant) demeanor can make you seem more approachable andself-assured.The Power of a SmileOne of the simplest yet most effective ways to make a good first impression is to smile. A genuine, friendly smile can instantly put people at ease and make them feel welcomed and appreciated.Of course, it's important to strike the right balance – you don't want to come across as overly eager or insincere. A warm, natural smile that reaches your eyes is the way to go.And remember, a smile isn't just about your mouth – it's a full-body experience. Make eye contact, nod, and use open body language to reinforce that friendly demeanor.Listen UpWhen meeting someone new, it's tempting to focus all your energy on what you're going to say next. But one of the most powerful ways to make a good first impression is to be an active listener.Give the person your full attention, maintain eye contact, and resist the urge to think about your response while they're speaking. Ask follow-up questions to show you're engaged and interested in what they're saying. Not only does this make the other person feel valued and respected, but it also helps you gather information and insights that can inform your own responses and make for a more meaningful conversation.Be Positive and EnthusiasticNo one likes a Negative Nancy or a Debbie Downer, especially when they're meeting someone for the first time. Positivity and enthusiasm are incredibly attractive qualities that can make a lasting impression. It's not about being fake or over-the-top – it's about projecting an upbeat, optimistic attitude and a genuine interest in the person you're meeting and the situation at hand.Compliment sincerely, ask questions that show you're engaged, and share your own positive experiences or perspectives when appropriate. Just be careful not to come across as too intense or overbearing.Mind Your MannersGood manners never go out of style, and they can be a powerful tool for making a great first impression. Simple gestures like saying "please" and "thank you," holding doors open for others, and offering a firm (but not bone-crushing) handshake can go a long way. It's also important to be mindful of your surroundings and the people around you. Avoid interrupting others when they're speaking, and be respectful of their personal space and boundaries. And, of course, basic etiquette like not talking with your mouth full, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and keeping your phone put away during conversations can leave a lasting positive impression.Be YourselfWhile it's important to put your best foot forward when making a first impression, it's equally important to be true to yourself. Don't try to be someone you're not, or you risk coming across as inauthentic or insincere.Instead, focus on highlighting your genuine strengths, interests, and personality traits. Share your passions, your goals, and your unique perspectives – the things that make you, well, you.Of course, there's a fine line between being authentic and oversharing or making inappropriate comments. Use your best judgment, and remember that a little discretion can go a long way.Follow Up and Follow ThroughMaking a great first impression isn't a one-and-done deal –it's just the beginning. To really solidify that positive impression, you need to follow up and follow through. If you exchange contact information with someone, follow up with a friendly email or text message within a reasonable timeframe. If you make plans to meet up or collaborate on aproject, be sure to follow through on your commitments and show up on time and prepared.Consistency is key when it comes to making a lasting impression. If you present one version of yourself initially and a completely different one later on, it can undermine the positive impression you worked so hard to create.Making a good first impression is an art, but it's one that can be learned and mastered with practice and self-awareness. By paying attention to the little details – from your appearance and body language to your listening skills and manners – you can create a lasting positive impression that opens doors and creates opportunities. And remember, while first impressions are important, they're not everything. People's perceptions can and do change over time, so don't get too caught up in trying to be perfect from the get-go. Stay true to yourself, keep an open mind, and be willing to grow and learn from every interaction. After all, making a good first impression is just the first step on the journey to building meaningful connections and relationships. The real work – and the real reward – comes from nurturing those connections over time and allowing people to see the full depth and breadth of who you are.So go out there, put your best foot forward, and let your authentic self shine through. The world is full of opportunities waiting to be seized – and a great first impression can be the key that unlocks them all.篇3How to Make a Good First ImpressionThey say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. As a student, making good first impressions is crucial in so many areas of life - meeting new teachers, joining clubs, making new friends, interviewing for internships or jobs, and more. The way you present yourself in those initial encounters can set the tone for the entire relationship or opportunity ahead. While being judged solely on a first impression may not seem entirely fair, it's the reality we live in. The good news is, there are clear strategies you can use to put your best foot forward and make positive, lasting first impressions.Looking the PartOne of the biggest factors in a first impression is your physical appearance and body language. This doesn't mean you have to be a model or dress in expensive designer clothes. However, taking pride in your grooming and manner of dress isimportant. Make sure your clothes are clean, wrinkle-free, and fit you properly. Choose simple, polished looks over anything too trendy or revealing. You'll also want to practice good hygiene - showering, brushing your teeth, using deodorant, and keeping your nails trimmed.Body language is just as critical as your outfit. Hold your head up high with your shoulders back to project confidence. Extend a firm handshake and make eye contact when greeting someone new. Avoid fidgeting, shifting your weight back and forth, or any other restless movements that can make you seem nervous or distracted. Instead, face people directly and lean in slightly to show engagement. Mirroring their body language can also help you appear more likable and relatable. The Power of PositivityYour attitude and outlook also heavily influence first impressions. Putting out positive, upbeat energy goes a long way. Smiling in a warm, sincere way signals friendliness and approachability. Be an active listener, nodding and making small comments to confirm you're tuned in. Ask follow-up questions about the other person to demonstrate your interest and investment in the conversation. At the same time, be sure to speak clearly, confidently, and at an appropriate volume and speed. You don't want to seem mousy or unsure of yourself, but you also don't want to be overbearing or dominate the discussion. Finding the right balance of contributing while also making space for others is key.Beyond your verbal and non-verbal cues, strive to have an overall positive, can-do mindset. Project an eager,solutions-oriented attitude instead of being a complainer or nay-sayer. Offer to help out or pitch in where you can to show you're a team player. Making reasonable suggestions and having innovative ideas at the ready can also highlight your ability to think critically.Being Present and PreparedIn our age of constant digital distraction, being fully present and engaged is more impressive than ever before. Silence your phone or any other devices completely during first impressions. Avoid the temptation to check notifications, browse social media, or send that "quick text." Give people your complete, undivided attention. You'd be amazed at how many basic gaffes stem from not being fully tuned in and mindful of your surroundings. It's also essential to be prepared ahead of time so you can stay poised in the moment. Do your homework on the person, group, company, or context so you understand pertinent details and can ask insightful questions. If it's an interview situation, research common questions and have talking points ready about your experience and qualifications. A little advanced effort can prevent you from being caught off guard and losing your composure. For more personal introductions like meeting someone's family or a romantic partner's friends, learn a few general facts about them so you can make appropriate small talk. Showing genuine interest and picking up on cues about their passions or backgrounds can help you forge real connections right away.Carrying Yourself With ClassBeyond all the preparation and strategy, making a good first impression ultimately comes down to carrying yourself with poise, confidence, and respect for others. Use proper titles when greeting people until invited to do otherwise. Mind your manners by saying please, thank you, excuse me, and offering gestures like holding doors open.If an introduction doesn't go as planned or you make a minor mistake, don't dwell on it or draw excessive attention. Simply briefly acknowledge it, then move on with grace and asense of humor about yourself. Getting flustered or defensive can damage the rapport you're trying to build. Most importantly, be authentic in your words and actions. Putting on an act or pretending to be someone you're not will eventually come across as disingenuous. Have the courage to be your true self while still making an effort to highlight your very best qualities in those first crucial moments. First impressions may be judgements based on limited information, but they set the stage for more substantial chances to prove your full character over time.Making a positive first impression isn't an exact science, but it's certainly a skill that can be developed and refined with focus and practice. By being intentional about your presence, preparedness, positivity, and overall polish, you can start building trust and credibility right from the start. Those first few minutes may be all you get before someone's opinion starts to solidify, so make them count. Invest in creating an impactful, confidence-inspiring introduction that opens doors to valuable relationships and opportunities ahead.。

How to Make something作文

How to Make something作文It seems simple to live in the world, but in fact it is a broad and profound knowledge. It is really not an easy thing to learn and apply it well.If you master certain coping skills, you will be able to handle social interpersonal relationships like a duck in water and swim freely; otherwise, it will be difficult and difficult to advance. There are many such instances in life.As a human being, I think basic common sense should have the following aspects. This may be my one-sided view, but if it can play a certain role in awakening the world, it will not be in vain for my painstaking writing.Be one person, treat people with sincerity. Sincerity should be the first standard of life.Only when people take off their fake masks and expose their honest souls can they see each other's thinking clearly, so as to achieve a better understanding and reach some ideologicalconsensus. In fact, many friendships and loves are developed and coexisted through sincerity.Sincerity, like a powerful antiseptic, inhibits the erosion of all external bad factors to steadfast love and friendship. Second, learn to be patient. As the saying goes, if you take a step back, you will be able to endure a moment of anger, and you will be able to solve a hundred days of worries. Indeed, in many cases, a slight concession can fully minimize the contradiction, or even eliminate it.Things are always solved with a smile. A person who blindly pursues victory, in fact, loses a lot when he gains it, such as image, reputation and so on.Concession is not fear of others, nor cowardice, it is a full manifestation of love. It can be said that a person who is good at giving back must be a loving and intelligent person.Because he knows that punishing himself with other people'smistakes is a fool's business. Three, know how to turn.A man who knows how to bend is a wise man, and he will not let his mind go into the valley of death. But in real life, there are some people who don't know how to turn back when they hit the south wall, and don't know how to retreat when they see the sea, but they still plunge into it.We can only call this kind of person stupid. Smart people decide the way they should go in reflection. In fact, many times, if you change your thinking a little, you will get an unexpected harvest. Let’s just say that the king of modern hard pen calligraphy QQ, wrote articles for decades, but none of them were published in magazines. The editor said that your calligraphy is getting better and better, so he was smart and adjusted his direction to learn calligraphy. The result was instant fame. This is the benefit of knowing how to turn a corner. If he insisted on so-called writing, he might still be a nobody. Fourth, be good at giving up.Don't always let yourself stand on a high diving platform and force yourself to do things that you can't do. I have a friend who is now a graduate student and still wants to take the doctoral exam again.Helpless, the old man can't remember the words in English, and he can't pass the test. He was annoyed because it had been two years since he had reworked his subjects for this.I advise, if you really can't take it, don't put too much pressure on yourself, in fact, you are already very good. If you blindly ask yourself to stand on the peak of the mountain in your life, then when climbing a mountain, you must first consider whether your physical strength is capable, otherwise even if you climb the top of the mountain forcefully and lose your health, what's the point of it? ? The friend nodded yes.Sometimes, giving up is also a kind of beauty. Fifth, Xerox is good. This is a measure of a person's love. Caring people don't saythey have to be rich to think about helping people who are more difficult than themselves.A caring person, even if he only drinks half porridge, he will give it to him even if he sees a homeless person; a caring person, even if his annual salary is very low and he has to support his family, he will take it from the meager salary. Donate some of the money to children in poor mountainous areas who cannot afford to go to college; caring people, he does not ask how much he can contribute to the society and others, but only asks for a little effort to relieve others' worries for a while. Sixth, make good friends.A good friend is a mirror that reflects your thoughts; a good friend will show you a way forward when you make mistakes; a good friend will help you when you are in trouble; a good friend Friends, never forget to share with you when you are in joy, sorrow and sorrow; a good friend is your constant companion on the journey of life. Friends have always been an important part of my life. Things can be lost, but friends cannot be without. It is everyone's wish to make good friends. Here are some materials for you to choose from: Dealing with people is a lifelong course for everyone, especially young people in today's society with frequent interactions and complex relationships.1. Regarding the problem of troublesome others: If you are not troublesome yourself, you will definitely trouble others.2. On the question of benefiting yourself: if it is not beneficial to yourself, it will be beneficial to others. So try not to bother others and don't bother yourself too much.To benefit both yourself and others. The secret to doing things is probably how to adjust this balance.3. Reservations: Excessive arguing is useless and unrestrained. In general, there should be no rush to express one's attitude or express an opinion, leaving people unsure.Prudent silence is shrewd avoidance. 4. Know yourself: Promote your most outstanding talents and cultivate others. As long as you know your strengths and grasp them, all people will be prominent in something. 5. Never exaggerate: Exaggeration is detrimental to reality, and it is easy to make people doubt your opinion. The shrewd person restrains himself, shows a cautious attitude, speaks succinctly, and never exaggerates himself. Overvaluing yourself is a form of lying. It can damage your reputation and have a very bad impact on your relationships and the environment. Damage your grace and intelligence.6. Adapt to the environment: Survival of the fittest, don't spend too much energy on chores, and maintain the relationship between colleagues. Don't show yourself off every day, or people will get bored of you.People must always feel something new. Someone who shows a little bit every day keeps expectations and doesn't bury your talent.7. Learn from each other's strengths: learn from others' strengths and make up for their own shortcomings. When communicating with friends, treat everyone with a humble and friendly attitude.Treat your friends as teachers, combine useful learning with humorous words, and what you say will be praised, and what you will hear is learning. How to be human? How to be human? What kind of person do you want to be? This is an art, but also a science.A lot of people don't understand it all their life. We often hear the emotion of "being a human being is difficult, it is difficult to be a human being", and we can often feel the comprehension of "being a human being first and doing things later".It can be seen that being a person is not a small problem, but a big problem, which is a compulsory course for everyone in his life. There are only two things in life: one is to be a man, andthe other is to do things.Although there are no certain rules and standards for being a human being, there are certain general rules, and there must be its skills and rules. I can only say some small truths here, big hints.1. Be an Aspiring Person Chairman Mao once said, "With self-confidence for two hundred years, you will be able to hit the water for three thousand miles." Napoleon also once said, "A soldier who does not want to be a general is not a good soldier." These famous words tell us that being a man should If you have faith, you should have faith. Faith is the navigation light that guides us to success, and self-confidence is the driving force to reach the peak of life.A bright future comes from self-improvement, self-reliance, and self-confidence. Don’t give up until you reach your goals, and don’t let go of the green hills. It’s often not others but yourself who beat yourself up. Don’t take a single failure as the final judgment of life. Running away is cowardly, avoiding is passive, and retreating is even more incompetent. The road to success has to be made by oneself. There are confusions in being a person and difficulties in doing things. There is no smooth sailing in the world, only strong confidence and perseverance. The man lives up to the world, decides by himself, is not afraid of failure, and does not give up.When you succeed, don't get drunk, when you fail, don't be discouraged, don't blame the sky and worry about others. In the face of "heavy mountains and rivers", you can only move forward bravely, persevere, and overcome all difficulties with confidence. If you want to achieve a career, you must be willing to do big things, take on difficult things, set up an ambition, set a goal, and you will have a direction in life.Where the heart is, the road is there. With ambition, there is the ability, courage and courage to be a man. Therefore, to be a person, you need to ask where your ambition is, and whether you have confidence. 2. Be a kind person "In the beginning of human beings, nature isinherently good."Kindness is the warmest, most beautiful and most touching strand of human brilliance. Not everyone is successful in life, not everyone can be a hero, but they must be kind and kind.Kindness is the way of harmony and beauty. Only when the heart is full of compassion and kindness can we move and warm the world. Without kindness, there can be no inner peace, and there can be no peace and beauty in the world.Love is the basic kindness emotion. When we meet a beggar, we give him some money. When we meet the old, weak, sick, and pregnant women, we take the initiative to give up our seats. When we meet a lost child, we send him home and guide him. direction. A smile, a simple gesture, a heartfelt greeting is not difficult for us to do, but it may help others out of a difficult situation. All people and all things are connected. When you give to others, you are really benefiting yourself. When you hurt another life, you are actually hurting yourself. The so-calledkindness is nothing more than having a big love and sympathy, not harming others, not talking to others, not deceiving others. With good character, there is the foundation and possibility to truly love parents, others, and nature. A kind person is like a beacon, which not only illuminates the people around him, but also warms himself. Kindness does not need to be instilled and forced, but will only infect and spread to each other. Therefore, being a person does not have to be indomitable and vigorous, but must be kind and sincere. So, you have to ask if you want to be kind or not.3. Be an educated person China is a nation that pays great attention to self-cultivation and morality. Over the past five thousand years, no matter how the world has changed, diligence, loyalty, humility, and filial piety have always been virtues that have never faded. Many ancient sages and sages regarded them as family heirlooms. The success of a small business depends on opportunities, thesuccess of a medium business depends on ability, and the success of a large business depends entirely on character and integrity. Most successful people are often virtuous people. The so-called upbringing means that one should know the depths, the depths, the inferiority, the high and the low, and the importance. It should be disciplined and moral. Educated people often do not use art but use virtue, often do not use strategy but use Dao, and often do not use power but use propriety.Educated people are detached from nature when they are alone, and they will take care of their own hearts. Fangyuan is a person, tactful in doing things, quiet and far-reaching, self-reflection, and everything is at ease and satisfactory. So, you have to ask yourself if you are educated or not. 4. Be an optimistic person. Everyone comes to the world not because of distress, so you can't keep your face straight, worrying, sad, distressed, and frustrated all day long. There is no fun in such a life. There is no absolute happiness in the world, only people who are unwilling to Happy heart, theworld is like a mirror, you laugh at it, it smiles at you; you cry at it, it also cry at you; you are calm, it will give you a calm; if you are aggressive, it will give you back Hengmei is cold.Listening to compliments, disliking criticism from others, wanting fame and fortune, not wanting to lose them, this mentality will only imprison oneself like a chain. Only by transcending them can one experience freedom and happiness. If you have a happy heart, you will see a world worthy of joy. Your heart is full of sadness, but you will only see a world full of sadness. It is better to be satisfied with what you already have than to be brooding about what you cannot get. grateful. Happiness is not sought outside the heart, but can only be found in the heart. If you are satisfied with happiness in your heart, even if you are in a prison toilet, you can still be at ease.Be kind, be a good person, fill your heart with joy, reflect your face with joy, and be optimistic, so that you can stand as a monument and walk out of a beautiful landscape. Life is too short, it's better to learn to "be quiet and quiet" instead ofdrawing a bow and drawing a crossbow in everything. So, you have to ask yourself if you are optimistic. 5. To be a tolerant person depends on a tolerant heart.Don't be too narrow-minded in doing things. A ruler is short, an inch is long, gold is not bare, and no one is perfect. Appreciating the merits of others and tolerant of others' shortcomings depends on having a heart of love and tolerance.Burn with anger for your enemy, and burn only yourself. If you can't hold your breath, you will hate each other with swords and guns. If you can't stand the complacent equinox of others, you will be jealous and framed. This kind of life can only be dark and light, and the road will become narrower and narrower.Right and wrong in the world, good and evil, joy, good and bad, hot and cold, honor and favor in the world, you have to relax your belly and accept it calmly, and the road will become wider and wider. Tolerance is not cowardly, withdrawnrepression, but.。

如何使我们的校园生活更有意义英语作文

如何使我们的校园生活更有意义英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulSchool is such an awesome place! We get to learn new things every day, play with our friends, and have lots of fun. But did you know that we can also make our school life even more meaningful? Yup, it's true! There are so many cool ways we can make the most out of our time at school. Let me share some ideas with you.First up, we should always try our very best in everything we do at school. Whether it's taking a test, doing a project, or just listening in class, we need to give it our all. It's so important to pay attention and work really hard. That way, we'll learn as much as we possibly can! Knowledge is power, and the more we know, the better we'll do in life. Plus, our teachers and parents will be super proud of us for being such great students.Another way to make school life meaningful is by being a fantastic friend. We spend so much time with our classmates, so why not make some lifelong buddies? We can share snacks andtoys, help each other out when someone is stuck on a tough assignment, and just be all-around kind human beings. Having good friends makes going to school way more fun! Just think about how happy you feel when your best friend gives you a high-five or a fist bump. That's the real meaning of school right there: friendship and fun times together.Speaking of fun, we can't forget to just be kids and enjoy ourselves while we're at school! Yes, learning is crucial, but we also need time to play games, run around at recess, and let our creativity loose during art class. playing helps our brains grow and develops our imagination and social skills. So next timewe're at gym class or outside on the playground, we should try not to worry so much about being perfect. Just go for it and play our little hearts out!Part of having a meaningful school experience is taking care of our school too. We can volunteer to pick up litter, tend to the school garden, or decorate our classroom's bulletin boards. By pitching in and doing our part, we'll help make our school look nice and feel like a welcoming second home. Our teachers and principal will surely appreciate our efforts in keeping our campus clean and beautiful. Finally, the most meaningful thing we can do at school is be helpful and kind to one another. If we see someone struggling with a homework assignment, we can lend a hand. When a new student joins our class and seems shy, we can introduce ourselves and make them feel included. And if a friend is having a bad day, we should offer a warm hug and listen to what's bothering them. Small acts of kindness and compassion can make such a big difference in somebody's life. We're all in this schooling journey together, so we've got to stick up for each other! There are so many amazing opportunities at school to learn, grow, and make wonderful memories. If we work hard, treasure our friendships, let loose and play, take pride in our campus, and spread kindness wherever we go, our school life will be extraordinary. We've got this! Let's make the most out of every single day we spend at our awesome school. It'll be an adventure we'll never forget!篇2How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulSchool is such an awesome place! We get to learn new things every day, play with our friends, and have fun. Butsometimes, school can feel a little boring or not that exciting. That's why it's important to find ways to make our school life more meaningful and enjoyable. Let me share some ideas on how we can do that! One great way to make school more meaningful is to really pay attention in class and be an active learner. Instead of just sitting there while the teacher talks, we should raise our hands to ask questions when we don't understand something. Asking questions helps us learn better and shows the teacher that we care about the subject. We can also participate more by answering questions the teacher asks. Don't be afraid to give an answer, even if you're not totally sure if it's right. The teachers will be happy that we're trying our best.Another idea is to join a school club or activity. Our school has so many cool clubs like art, music, sports, coding, and more. When we join a club, we get to spend more time doing activities we really enjoy. It's a fun way to make new friends who have the same interests as us. Being part of a club also teaches us teamwork, dedication, and responsibility. Those are all skills that will help us out later in life too.Speaking of helping others, we can also make our school life more meaningful by doing nice things for our classmates, teachers, and community. We can volunteer to tutor younger students who need help with their schoolwork. Or we could collect supplies for kids who don't have enough basic things like books and pencils. Helping people in need always makes me feel really good inside!Another option is to take good care of our school building and campus. We're so lucky to have a nice place to learn and play every day. Throwing away our trash properly, recycling when we can, and keeping our classroom clean and organized are little ways we can show appreciation for our school. If we see any messes or vandalism, we should tell a teacher right away so it can get fixed. It's also super important to be a good friend to our classmates. You never know what someone else is going through in their life outside of school. A kind word, a friendly smile, or including someone in our games at recess can really brighten their whole day. Bullying and being mean is never cool, guys. We should treat others how we would want to be treated ourselves.Lastly, let's not forget to take care of ourselves too! Getting plenty of sleep, eating healthy snacks and meals, and exercising regularly gives us more energy to be our best at school. We can encourage our families to pack nutritious lunches and snacks forus. During recess, we should run around and play instead of just sitting. A healthy body helps us have a healthy mind for learning! So there you have it - those are just some ideas for making our school life more awesome and meaningful. It's not that hard, we just have to put in a little effort. When we take an active role in our learning, join clubs, help others, take care of our school, be a good friend, and stay healthy, we'll be on our way to an amazing school experience. Our teachers and parents will be so proud of the great students we're becoming. Who's ready to make this the best school year yet? I know I am! Let's do this!篇3How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulHi friends! Today I want to talk about how we can make our time at school even more awesome and meaningful. School is where we spend so much of our days learning new things and having fun with our classmates. But sometimes it can feel a little boring or like we're just going through the motions. I think there are some easy ways we can make school life better and get more out of it. Let me share some ideas! One of the best things about school is that we get to learn about so many different subjects. From math to science, art tomusic, reading to writing - our brains get filled up with all kinds of cool knowledge. The more we pay attention and really try to understand what we're being taught, the more meaningful it will be. Instead of just memorizing facts for a test and then forgetting them, we should work on building a deeper understanding. Ask the teacher lots of questions if something doesn't make sense. Discuss what we're learning with friends and family. And find ways to apply it to the real world around us. Learning becomes way more fun when we can connect it to our lives!Another way to find more meaning is to discover new interests and passions through the clubs and activities at school. There are so many awesome options - sports teams, music groups, art classes, science fair, coding club, and more. When we explore different activities, we get to see what really excites us and makes us come alive. Following our interests and developing talents gives us a sense of purpose. Who knows, we might even get on a path towards a really cool career! So instead of just sticking to the same old routine, let's branch out and try new things. Even if we don't love it at first, we can learn perseverance and discipline.Speaking of discovering interests, school is also a great place to start thinking about how we want to impact the world around us. Maybe there's a cause we care about like protecting animals or the environment. Or perhaps we want to be a positive role model for younger kids. We could volunteer to tutor students who need extra help or run community service projects. Not only will this allow us to give back in a meaningful way, but it'll also teach us super useful skills like leadership, problem-solving, and working together as a team. Our school years don't just have to be about learning from books - we can take action and start making a difference now!Of course, one of the biggest parts of school is our friends and social life. We spend so much time with our classmates, so it's important to nurture those friendships and create a positive community. We can make school more meaningful by being kind and supportive of each other, celebrating our differences, and including everyone regardless of their interests or backgrounds. It's amazing how much lighter a tough day can feel when you have friends who make you laugh and have your back. True friends also encourage us to be our best selves and achieve our dreams. So let's be the kind of friends who build each other up and make amazing memories together!Lastly, we can find more meaning by taking care of ourselves mentally and physically. School can be really stressful with all the homework, tests, activities, and social stuff going on. It's so important to take breaks, get enough sleep, exercise, eat nutritious foods, and do relaxing activities that we enjoy. When our minds and bodies are recharged, we're able to focus better, handle challenges more easily, and simply appreciate each day more. We're only kids once, so we shouldn't spend all our time stressed out and burnt out! Making self-care a priority will help us thrive during these important years. So those are some of my thoughts on how to make our school life fuller, richer, and more meaningful. When we dig deeper into our interests, get involved in impactful activities, nurture positive friendships, and care for our whole selves, our days will be so much more than just sitting at a desk. We'll grow into our best selves and be ready to make our unique mark on this world. What ideas do you have to get the most out of your school experience? I'd love to hear them! Let's make this the most awesome, meaningful year yet. We've got this!篇4How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulSchool is such an important part of our lives! We spend most of our time there, learning new things every day and making lots of friends. But sometimes, school can feel a bit boring or like it's just a routine we have to follow. That's why it's super important to find ways to make our school life more fun and meaningful! One way to do this is to get involved in different clubs and activities. Our school has so many cool clubs to choose from – art club, science club, drama club, and even a chess club! Joining a club lets you explore your interests and hobbies in a fun way, while also meeting new friends who share the same passions. You might even discover a hidden talent you never knew you had!Another great idea is to participate in school events and celebrations. Whether it's a talent show, a science fair, or a sports tournament, these events bring our whole school community together. You can showcase your skills, cheer on your classmates, and just have a blast! Plus, it's a chance to make wonderful memories that you'll cherish forever. But school isn't just about having fun – it's also about learning and growing as a person. One way to make your school life more meaningful is to focus on your studies and always try your best. Even if a subject is really difficult, don't give up! Askyour teachers for help, form study groups with your friends, and keep practicing until you understand it. The feeling of accomplishment when you finally get it is truly amazing!Speaking of teachers, it's also important to build good relationships with them. Our teachers work so hard to help us learn and grow, and they're always there to support us. Make sure to listen to them in class, follow their instructions, and treat them with respect. You could even stay after class sometimes to chat with them and get to know them better. They might just become your mentors and role models!Another way to make your school life more meaningful is to get involved in community service projects. Our school often organizes events like food drives, park clean-ups, or visits to local nursing homes. Participating in these projects not only helps others but also teaches us important values like kindness, empathy, and social responsibility. It's a win-win situation!Last but not least, don't forget to have fun and enjoy your time at school! Make new friends, try new things, and create wonderful memories that you'll cherish forever. School is more than just a place to learn – it's a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and making lifelong connections. So, let's make the most of our school life! Get involved, work hard, help others, and most importantly, have a blast! These are the years that will shape us into the amazing people we're destined to become. Let's make them count!篇5How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulSchool is such an awesome place! We get to learn new things every day, play with our friends, and have fun. But did you know that we can also make our school life even more meaningful? Yup, it's true! By doing some simple things, we can make our time at school really count.First off, we need to be excited about learning. I know, I know, sometimes lessons can be a little boring. But if we go in with a positive attitude and try our best to pay attention, we might just discover that what we're learning is actually pretty cool! Math, reading, science - it's all about exploring the world around us. The more we embrace learning, the more meaning we'll find in being at school.Another big part of making school life meaningful is being a good friend. You've probably noticed that when you're kind to others and include everyone, it just feels better. Taking the timeto cheer up a buddy who's having a bad day, inviting someone to join your game at recess, or just flashing a smile as you pass by in the hallway - these little acts of friendship add up to create a really positive environment at our school. It makes coming here each day way more fun!But being a good friend isn't just about being nice to your buddies. It's also important to be a friend to the Earth! We're so lucky to have a beautiful campus with trees, flowers, and nature areas. Picking up litter, recycling, and treating the outdoors with respect helps keep our school looking great and protects the critters that live here too. When we're friends with the environment, we're doing our part to make the world a better place.Speaking of making the world better, finding ways to help others is a huge key to leading a meaningful life - even as kids. Whether it's collecting canned goods for the food bank, raising money for a good cause, or just offering to help out a teacher or parent when they need an extra hand, acts of service make us feel good inside. And they send out positive ripples of kindness that can impact so many people! Our school could commit to a few service projects each year and imagine how much we could accomplish. Finally, a meaningful school experience comes from discovering our passions and talents. With so many different clubs, activities, sports and arts to try, our time at school gives us an amazing chance to explore new interests. I really enjoy art class because I get to be creative and express myself through paintings and drawings. Maybe your thing is music, or drama, or science experiments! The possibilities are endless. When we take advantage of the opportunities our school provides, we get closer to figuring out our true calling in life.So let's recap - keep an eager attitude about learning, be a friend to others and the Earth, lend a hand in the community, and use your time at school to uncover your gifts. Do all those things, and I can guarantee our school days will be filled with greater meaning and happiness than ever before. It's going to be an awesome journey, so let's make it count!篇6How to Make Our School Life More MeaningfulSchool life is awesome! It's a famous dish from Yunnan Province in China, and it's so delicious! My grandma taught me how to make it, and I'm excited to share the recipe with you.First, let me tell you a bit about the history of this dish. It's called "Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles" because, back in the day, people used to cross a bridge to sell these noodles to travelers. They would carry the noodles in a bamboo basket on their backs, and the noodles would be topped with all sorts of tasty ingredients. Now, let's talk about the ingredients we need. For the noodles, we'll need rice flour, water, and a pinch of salt. For the toppings, we'll need:Cooked chicken or pork (shredded or sliced)Green vegetables (like spinach, bok choy, or Chinese broccoli)Pickled vegetables (like carrots, radishes, or mustard greens)Roasted peanutsCrispy fried wontons or shallotsScallionsCilantroChili oil or chili sauce (if you like it spicy)Soy sauceSesame paste or peanut butterSounds like a lot of ingredients, right? But trust me, it's worth it! The combination of flavors and textures is truly amazing.Okay, let's start with the noodles. We'll mix the rice flour, water, and salt together until we have a smooth dough. Then, we'll knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes nice and stretchy. After that, we'll let it rest for about 30 minutes. While the dough is resting, we can prepare the toppings. If you're using chicken or pork, you'll want to cook it and then shred or slice it into bite-sized pieces. For the vegetables, we'll blanch or steam them until they're just tender but still crisp. Now, it's time to make the noodles! We'll roll the dough out into a long, thin sheet and then cut it into thin strips. Don't worry if they're not perfectly even – that's part of the charm!Once the noodles are cut, we'll cook them in boiling water for just a minute or two until they're tender but still have a bit of a bite to them. We don't want them to get too mushy. While the noodles are cooking, we can prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, we'll mix together some soy sauce, sesame paste or peanut butter, chili oil or chili sauce (if you like it spicy), and a little bit of the noodle cooking water. This will create a rich, flavorful sauce for the noodles. Now, it's time to assemble our dish! We'll drain the noodles and put them in a bowl. Then, we'll top them with the shredded chicken or pork, the blanched vegetables, pickled vegetables, roasted peanuts, crispy fried wontons or shallots, scallions, and cilantro. Finally, we'll drizzle the sauce over the top and give everything a good toss. And there you have it – your very own bowl of Guoqiao Mixian! The best part is that you can customize it to your liking. If you prefer it more spicy, add extra chili oil. If you like it more nutty, add extra peanuts or sesame paste. The possibilities are endless! This dish is not only delicious but also really fun to eat. You get to mix everything together and enjoy all the different flavors and textures in every bite. The noodles are chewy and satisfying, the vegetables are fresh and crunchy, the pickled veggies add a tangy kick, and the peanuts and fried wontons provide a nice crunch.I hope you'll give this recipe a try! My name is Emma and I'm going to teach you how to make one of my favorite dishes - Crossing the Bridge Noodles! It's a really yummy noodle soup from the Yunnan province in China. The name comes from the way the noodles are made - they look like little bridges floating in the broth. Pretty cool, right? But before we get cooking, let me tell you a bit about the history of this dish. A long time ago, there was a scholar named Wang Zhenyi who was taking an important exam. On his way there, he had to cross a bridge over a river. An old woman was selling noodle soup on the bridge. Wang was so hungry that he stopped to buy a bowl. It tasted so incredibly delicious that he aced the exam! Ever since then, people have been making and eating these "crossing the bridge" noodles for good luck before big events. Now that you know the backstory, are you ready to learn how to make them? It's not too difficult, but there are a few steps involved. I'll break it down for you nice and easy. Let's get started!Ingredients:For the noodles:2 cups rice flour1 cup tapioca or potato starch1 tsp salt1 cup boiling waterFor the broth:8 cups chicken or vegetable broth2 inches fresh ginger, sliced3 cloves garlic, smashed2 star anise2 tbsp soy sauce1 tsp white pepper1 pound ground pork or chicken (optional)2 cups mixed vegetables like bok choy, mushrooms, spinachFor garnishes:Sliced green onionsCilantroCrispy fried shallots or garlicLime wedgesFirst, let's make the noodles. In a big bowl, mix together the rice flour, starch, and salt. Slowly pour in the boiling water while stirring with a wooden spoon or chopsticks. Keep stirring until it forms a dough. If it seems too dry, add a splash more water.Dust a clean surface with some extra rice flour. Use your hands to knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes. While the dough is resting, make the broth. In a big pot, combine the broth, ginger, garlic, star anise, soy sauce and white pepper. If using meat, add the ground pork or chicken now too. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, the dough should be ready! Dust your surface again with rice flour. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Let it rest for 5 more minutes. Now for the fun part - making the noodles look like little bridges! Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1/4 inch wide strips. Then make a slit lengthwise down the center of each strip, but don't cut all the way through. See how it looks like a tiny bridge?Bring the broth back to a boil. Carefully drop in the noodle "bridges" and let them cook for 2-3 minutes until tender but still chewy.Add your favorite vegetables like bok choy, mushrooms or spinach. Let them cook 1 minute more.Scoop the noodles and broth into bowls. Don't forget to grab some of those yummy meat pieces too if you used them! For the final tasty touch, garnish your bowl with sliced green onions, cilantro, crispy fried shallots or garlic, and a squeeze of lime juice.Doesn't that smell amazing? Time to eat! Slurp up those delicious noodles. I like to pick them up with my chopsticks and nibble bite by bite to get the full flavor.Crossing the Bridge Noodles are definitely a fun dish to make and eat. The chewy noodles, rich broth, and fresh toppings all come together for one big flavor explosion. Plus they're so cute looking like little bridges!Give this recipe a try next time you need some good luck. Who knows, you might even ace a test or two after eating a big warm bowl! Today I'm going to teach you how to make one of my favorite Yunnan dishes - Guoqiao Mixian or Crossing the Bridge Noodles. It's a really yummy noodle soup that comes from Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province in southern China. My grandma is from Kunming and she makes the best Guoqiao Mixian. Whenever we visit her, the first thing I ask for is a big bowl of these noodles. The broth is so rich and flavorful, and the chewy rice noodles mixed with all the tasty toppings is just heaven! The funny name "Crossing the Bridge Noodles" comes from the way the noodles are made. Grandma says back in the old days, roadside noodle vendors would make the noodles fresh and then hang them over a small bamboo bridge to dry in the sun. People walking by would see the long noodles hanging over the bridge, almost like a curtain, and that's where the name comes from.Making authentic Guoqiao Mixian takes a bit of work, but it's totally worth it. Here are the steps my grandma follows:Ingredients:For the broth:2 lbs of chicken bones/carcasses1 lb pork bones8 cups water1 inch ginger, sliced3 cloves garlic, crushed1 star anise2 tsp salt1 tsp white pepper2 tbsp soy sauce1 tsp sesame oilFor the noodles:2 cups rice flour1 cup wheat starch1/2 tsp salt1 cup boiling water Toppings:Cooked chicken, shredded Sliced porkBaby bok choySliced mushrooms Green onions, chopped CilantroChili oilSoy sauceBlack vinegarFirst, make the broth. Put the chicken and pork bones in a big pot and cover with 8 cups of cold water. Bring it to a boil over high heat. Use a spoon to skim off any scum or impurities that rise to the surface.Once it's boiling, add the ginger, garlic, star anise, salt, pepper, soy sauce and sesame oil. Reduce heat to low, cover and let it gently simmer for 2-3 hours. The longer it simmers, the more rich and flavorful the broth will be!While the broth is simmering, it's time to make the noodles. In a large bowl, mix together the rice flour, wheat starch and salt. Create a well in the center and slowly pour in the boiling water while mixing with a pair of chopsticks or a fork.Keep mixing until a shaggy dough forms. Then use your hands to knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. After resting, divide the dough into 6-8 equal pieces. Working with one piece at a time (and covering the rest so they don't dry out), use a rolling pin to roll it out into a very thin sheet, almost see-through.Let the sheets dry for 10-15 minutes until just slightly firm but still pliable. Then loosely roll up each sheet into a cylinder.Use a sharp knife to slice the cylinders crosswise into 1/4 inch wide noodles. Unravel the noodles and spread them out on a baking sheet to dry completely. They should look long, flat and chewy when dried.By now the broth should be done. Carefully strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove the bones and aromatics. You should have a rich, golden, deeply flavorful broth. To serve, bring the broth back to a simmer. Cook the fresh noodles for 2-3 minutes until chewy and tender. Divide the noodles among bowls and ladle the hot broth over top. Then it's time for all the toppings! Add shredded chicken, sliced pork, baby bok choy, mushrooms, green onions and cilantro. Drizzle with a little chili oil and soy sauce, and a splash of black vinegar if you like it nice and tangy.Give everything a gentle mix and you've got the most amazing, slurp-worthy bowl of Guoqiao Mixian! The flavors of the rich bone broth combined with the chewy homemade noodles and those tasty toppings is just out of this world delicious.Grandma always makes extra because my cousins and I can never get enough. We'll happily sit around slurping up every lastdrop from our bowls. Making Guoqiao Mixian from scratch takes time, but it's so worth the effort for that authentic taste of Yunnan.Well, that's how you make the noodle dish that's famous all over Kunming! Hopefully you'll get to try this recipe and taste just how incredibly yummy and comforting a big bowl of Guoqiao Mixian can be. Enjoy, friends!篇6How to Make Crossed-Bridge Rice NoodlesHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm going to teach you how to make one of my favorite foods - crossed-bridge rice noodles! It's a really yummy dish from the Yunnan province in China. My grandma taught me how to make it and I want to share the recipe with all of you.First, you need to get all the ingredients. For the noodles, you'll need rice flour, water, and a pinch of salt. For the toppings, you'll need pork, shrimp, vegetables like bean sprouts and Chinese chives, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, white pepper, and chicken broth or water.Let's start with the noodles. In a big bowl, mix together 2 cups of rice flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Slowly add 1 cup of water while stirring with a wooden spoon or chopsticks. Keep adding a little water at a time until you get a smooth dough that isn't too sticky. Knead it for 5 minutes until it's nice and smooth like Play-Doh.Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes. This lets the dough relax so it's easier to roll out later. While the dough is resting, let's prepare the toppings! Ask a grown-up to help you with the cooking. First, slice 1/2 pound of pork into thin strips. Peel and devein 1/2 pound of shrimp. Chop up 1 cup of bean sprouts and 1 bunch of Chinese chives into1-inch pieces. In a skillet or wok, cook the pork over medium-high heat until browned. Remove it and set aside. Cook the shrimp next until they turn pink and opaque. Remove those too. In the same pan with the pork and shrimp juices, saute the bean sprouts and chives for 1-2 minutes until tender but still crunchy. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper. This is the sauce to pour over the noodles. Now it's time to roll out the noodles! Dust a clean surface with rice flour. Take the rested dough and use a rolling pin to roll it into a really thin rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick. It's okay if it's not perfect, mine never is!Use a knife or bench scraper to cut the dough into long thin noodles, about 1/4 inch wide. Toss the noodles with a little rice flour so they don't stick together.Fill a pot with water or chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the fresh noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes until they're soft but still have a chewy bite.Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking. Put the noodles in a bowl and top with the pork, shrimp, veggies, and sauce. Use chopsticks or a fork to mix everything together. And that's it! You just made authentic crossed-bridge rice noodles. This dish gets its name from the way the long noodles criss-cross over each other, looking like a little bridge. Doesn't it look so good? You can add extras like crushed peanuts, sliced green onions, or pickled mustard greens. My brother always wants a fried eggon top too. However you like it, I hope you enjoy this taste of Yunnan!Making noodles from scratch is a lot of work but it's so worth it. The fresh chewy texture is unlike any dried noodles you can buy. My grandma says the dish originated from Dai minority villages where people would set up little noodle stands and hang the fresh noodles over a bamboo pole like a bridge to dry before cooking them. So cool!Even though I'm just a kid, I feel really proud when I successfully make a traditional recipe like this one that's been passed down for generations. Cooking is like an art and a science all mixed together. You have to follow the steps precisely but also use your senses to get everything just right. It takes practice!I remember the first time I tried making crossed-bridge noodles, it was a total mess. The dough was too sticky, the noodles fell apart when I boiled them, and I way oversalted the sauce. But my grandma was really patient and helped me try again until I got it right. Nowadays when I make the dish, it tastes just as delicious as when she makes it!Food is such an important part of culture. Learning traditional recipes connects me to my heritage and brings my family together. Spending time in the kitchen with mygrandparents is how I get to hear stories about when they were young and what life was like growing up in Yunnan. It's a way for wisdom and traditions to be passed down through the generations.I feel so lucky that my grandparents take the time to teach me recipes like this one. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be a grandparent showing my own grandkids how to make crossed-bridge noodles! For now though, I'm just excited to share one of my favorite dishes with all of you.Guo qiao mi xian is a labor of love, but so delicious and satisfying when you make it yourself. With fresh chewy noodles, savory pork and shrimp, and crunchy vegetables all tossed in a sweet-sour-spicy sauce, it's an explosion of flavors and textures in one bowl. I hope you all give it a try!Well, that's about all the noodle knowledge I can dish out for now. Let me know if you make this recipe or if you have any other questions! Happy cooking, everybody!。

How to Make Classroom Management Effective?
As hammer notes, classroom management contributes directly to the efficiency of teaching and learning as the most effective activities can be made almost useless if the teacher does not organize them efficiently. Thus, the teacher plays an important role in classroom management. According to what we have learned, the teacher’s roles as a controller, an assessor, an organizer, a prompter, a participant and a resource-provider, are all of great importance. Apart from those, teachers are expected to put on new roles including facilitators, guides and researchers.
In my opinion, each role is absolutely necessary in the implementation of efficient classroom management, and each one has its own function. Take a controller for example, he should control the pace so that activities run smoothly and efficiently. Almost everyone has such experience that the teacher controls the time when students do some skimming tasks or controls the whole class to be well-ordered. So it also has a degree of accuracy. However, not every degree of control is good. If the teacher gives over-control in class, the students will lose their self-study abilities gradually. Hence, teachers should use different degree of control based on different activities. Only in this way, can the classroom
management be more communicative and more effective. That is to say, teachers should stick to appropriate way when playing roles in the classroom management.
In addition to teachers’ roles, classroom instructions are very important as well. Teachers often use instructions to organize or guide learning, so students will have a better understanding. But there is a vital point that teachers should make their classroom instructions suit the level of their students. If their instructions are too long and rather complicated for students, which won’t greatly affect the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Teachers also need skills and judgment to choose whichever grouping method. Generally, the most common groupings are whole class work, pair work, group work and individual study. Each form of grouping has its advantages and disadvantages. What teachers should do is to adopt the most proper way and vary it from to time. And the effectiveness of group work depends on careful preparation and careful management.
Here is another important issue to be mentioned. It’s important to be disciplined in the classroom. To some extent, the teacher and students are cooperating smoothly or the class is under the te acher’s control, or the lesson is proceeding according to a plan, and all of those are possible characteristics of a disciplined classroom.
Teachers should know the ultimate goal of discipline is to make more effective learning, not practical skills, and mange to create a best learning environment.
Regarding questioning and error correction, we have to say that they are also important. As far as questioning is concerned, it has different criteria for teachers to examine what students have learned and challenge students. Besides, different question types depend on different levels of thinking. Through this, students can get the way of their own learning. Regarding error correction, a distinction is made between an error and a mistake. Whatever it is, as long as teachers adopt proper attitude towards errors and solve them in reasonable ways, students will learn effectively. At last, the cooperation between teachers and students will make classroom management more effective and efficient.
From the above views, we can see clearly that teachers need lots of things and apply for them appropriately, which will ultimately contribute to more effective and efficient classroom management.。
