•英文书信•英文书信的构成•一般来说，英文书信由六大部分组成，即信头（Heading）、信内地址（Inside Address）、称呼（Salutation）、正文（Body of Letter）、信尾客套语（Complimentary Close）、署名（Signature），当然有些时候书信后面还有附言（Postscript）、附件（Enclosure）部分。
•称呼•称呼由信内地址下方一两行处顶格写起，称呼后面一般用逗号。
•1）写给亲朋好友或熟人时，用Dear或My dear再加上表示亲朋关系的称呼或直呼其名。
（英式的My dear比Dear亲切；美式的Dear比My Dear亲切）。
例如：My dear father，Dear Jack等。
•2）下属写给上司或双方关系比较正式时，一般用“Dear Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms+surname 姓”作为称呼。
•3）商务类信函常用Dear Sir, Dear Madam或Gentlemen。
注意：Gentlemen总是以复数形式出现，前不加Dear，是Dear Sir的复数形式。
当收信人是女性，且不知道婚否，应该用Ms.，也就是“……女士”。
•4）也可以用头衔、职位、职称、学位等加在姓氏及名字之前。
若不知道对方的名字，只知道职务，也可以用其职务为称呼语。
例如：Dear Personnel Manager或Dear Prof.Jefferson。
•5）当不能确定收信人是哪位时，可以用Dear Sirs, Dear Madam or Sir或To whom it may concern等。
•信尾客套语•信尾客套语通常写在正文下面的一、二行的偏右方开始写出。
开头字母必须要大写，以后的字母则用小写，最后的一个词后面用逗号。
•1）写给亲戚、家人时，多用Your loving grandfather, Lovingly yours, Lovingly等。
•2）写给熟人、朋友时，多用Yours affectionately, Yours cordially等。
