新课程倡导开发的教材观，要求教师做教材的主人，成为教材的鉴赏者和开发者，创造性的使用教材，做到“用教材而不是教教材”。
创造性的使用教材是一个优秀教师必须具备的基本素养。
二、朗读指导重技巧，情感体验不深刻。
当前，很多教师都认识到了“以读代讲”的重要性，并努力在阅读教学中加以实施。
但在实践过程中，更多的教师将重点放在朗读技巧的指导上，如重音、停顿、节奏等，或是笼统地提出朗读的要求，如“读得美一些”、“读出作者……的感情”等。
这样的指导，不能触及文本的深层，学生的朗读只能是飘浮在文字的表面，不能对课文有更加深入的理解，也无法表达自己的真实情感。
朗读技巧的指导是必要的，但重要的是从重点的词句入手，从学生的情感体验着眼，结合文本的内容和语言文字表达的思想感情，通过教师的点拨、引导和启发，体会语句暗含的意思，学生的读才有根，才能读出形，读出意，读出情，读出味读出神.三、追求形式，浮华空泛阅读教学时常遭遇这样的尴尬：教师神采飞扬、学生积极踊跃、教学进程顺利，课后反馈却很不理想。
为什么？环节设计似乎没什么疏漏，学生的发言也都切合文本主题，那么问题出在哪里？小组讨论、多媒体辅助……教学方式、手段本身无错，关键在于教师运用是否妥当。
有的老师过于追求形式，使语文课堂呈现浮躁之气，其间欠缺了思考——冷静的、有深度的思考。
很多时候学生没有充足“读”（尤其是默读）的时间，发言顺应老师思路，而非自我生成。
更直白些讲，过分形式化的课堂，使学生的视觉听觉不断受到冲击，容易产生思维疲惫。
这种情况下，学生往往是根据老师的暗示，猜测老师想要什么样的答案，而不是考虑自己收获了什么。
