(1)aloud多指提高声音让别人听见,常与read,call等连用,无比较级。

(2)loud侧重指发出的音量大,传得远,常与talk,speak等连用,有比较级。

loud还可作形容词,意为“响亮的,大声的”。

(3)loudly侧重指声音很大,很喧闹,很吵。

如:Reading aloud is a good way to learn English.大声朗读是学习英语的一个好方法。

Can you speak a little louder?你能大点声说话吗?The telephone kept ringing loudly.电话铃一直大声地响。

3.too…totoo…to意为“太……而不能……”。

too后面跟形容词或副词的原形,to后面跟动词原形。

可与so/su ch…that或not…enough to…进行句型转换。

如:He is too young to go to school.他太小了,不能上学。

4.patientpatient作形容词,意为“有耐心的”。

作名词,意为“病人”。

其反义词是impatient,副词形式是patiently。

名词是patience,意为“耐心”。

常用短语:be patient with…对……有耐心be patient to do sth.有耐心做某事be patient of…能忍受/容忍……5.The more you read,the faster you'll be.你读得越多,你读得就越快。

(梳理整合)3.在教师的帮助下进行对话表演,谈论学习英语的方法(程度较好的可以转述)。

(内化应用)4.在小组内评价语篇中涉及的学习方法,并谈论自己喜欢的学习方法。

(迁移创新)语篇研读What:本课语篇包含三段对话。

第1段对话里男孩向同学们请教如何备考英语;第2段是英语俱乐部里师生谈论学习英语的最佳方法;第3段是Jack和Annie 关于英语阅读问题的对话,Annie向Jack传授英语阅读的方法。

Why:通过对话引导学生认识“by+doing”结构,训练学生听说技能和语言表达能力,丰富“英语学习”这个话题,培养学生遇到问题主动请教,想方设法克服困难的精神。

How:三段对话分别就如何备考英语、如何学习英语以及如何在英语学习中进行阅读等问题展开。
