本课是第二课时。

新词汇有playing video games, visiting my friend, listening to music, watching TV, riding my scooter, playing cards, making models, reading comic books.主要句型是What do you like doing? I like riding my scooter. Do you like reading comic books? Yes, I do.本课主要从学生生活实际出发,根据小学生学习的特点,创建活动课为主的教学模式,教学重点是培养学生用语言进行交流的能力,充分利用教学资源,采用听、做、说、唱、玩、演的方式,鼓励学生积极参与、大胆表达,侧重提高小学生对语言的感受和初步用英语进行听、说、唱、演的能力。

联系学生所学的playing video games, visiting my friend,等有关爱好的动词短语,通过dialogues,readings,picture talking等多种活动,复习旧知,联系新知,丰富学生的词句,训练学生的听说能力,提高学生的语言运用能力。

二、教材分析:本单元是《开心学英语》Book 4, Unit 7 I like eating. 主要学习如何询问和告诉别人自己喜欢做某事。

问爱好是学生英语学习中一个比较重要的话题,该话题操作性强。

在《开心学英语》教材中属于承上启下的一个单元。

在语言知识方面,此前通过《开心学英语》Book 1, Unit 11 What do you like?,Book2, Unit3 Do you like baseball? 和Book 3,Unit 5 Do you like science? 的学习,学生已经掌握了部分的业余爱好的词汇,并能利用句型What do you like? Do you like…?来表述与谈论自己和别人喜爱的事物。

The first period
一、教学内容与分析:
1. Let’s check听力练习检查学生对unit 6 所学内容的掌握情况。

2. Let’s chant, 通过说有节奏、有韵律的歌谣学习与巩固本课所学的单词。

3. Let’s sing. 通过歌曲的学习,激发的兴趣,巩固所学的单词。

二、教学目标:
1. 学会本课的八个新单词。

(play video games, visit my friend, listen to music, watch TV, ride my scooter ,play cards, make models, read comic books.)
2.在一定的情景中运用本课的新单词。

3.培养学生的注意力,激发学生的积极思维,挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。

三、教具准备:
本课的单词图片;录音机;磁带。

四、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
1.Ask and answer.
T: What time is it?
Ss: It’s …
2. Pair work. ( act it out)
Step 2 Presentation

Getting ready
Write I like________. On the board.
Write painting underneath the blank.
T: ( Pantomime painting.) I’m painting. I like painting. Who likes painting? Raise your hand.
Do the same with swinging, dancing, reading and ice skating.
Using the book
Let’s listen to the tape.
Hold up the book and point to the pictures.
T: Let’s listen again and repeat.
Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat.
T: Repeat after me.
Read each sentence from the dialog after each sentence to have Ss repeat.
Put Ss into pairs.
Encourage Ss to add facial and voice expressions.

Put up picture cards 51-60 on the board.
T: Listen and repeat.
Show each picture card picture side up , say the phrase for Ss to repeat,
Using the book
T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each picture as you asy it.
Have Ss listen, repeat and point to each picture.
Say the phrases at random and Ss point to the corresponding pictures.

Put one of the picture cards ( picture side up) in the blank and read the sentence. T: I like ( listening to music). ( Gesture for Ss to repeat.)
Ss: I like listen to music.
Repeat with other cards.
T: ( show one picture card quickly.) What do you like doing?
Ss: I like watching TV.
Change the picture cards and have Ss do a substitution drill.
Using the book
Have Ss look at the pictures on the page.
Ask individual Ss to read out the sentences.
Play the tape a few times and have Ss practice along with the tape.
Step 3 Summary
Today we have learned eight words and Asking about and describing about where people are going.
Step 4 Homework
1. Copy the new words
2. Read p. 35-36.
