Unit 27 Pocket money 零花钱一、重点单词及拓展1.borrow, lend的用法1)borrow, 是把别人东西借给自己,即向里借。
短语:borrow sth. from...例:We can borrow many books from the library.2)lend, 是指把自己的东西借给别人,即向外借,后可接双宾语。
结构:lend sth. to sb. 或lend sb. sth.例:Oscar often lends his school things to his classmates.=Oscar often lends his classmates his school things.注意:两个词都是短暂性动词,不能与表示段时间的短语连用。
2.own的用法1)形容词,自己的,通常与形容词物主代词连用,构成某人自己的。
如my own book 我自己的书their own feelings 他们自己的感觉例:I need my own phone to keep in touch with you.我需要我自己的来和你保持联系。
2)动词,拥有(表示拥有某物的产权,受法律保护)例:Oscar will own his pany some day. Oscar以后会拥有他自己的公司。
注意:have=have got,指普通的拥有,不涉及产权。
3)代词,自己的(东西)例:I bought tickets for everyone. You each have your own.我给所有人都买了票。
你们每个人都有自己的(票)。
your own= your own ticket.拓展:owner, 主人;拥有者造句练习:1)你能借我你的雨伞用一会儿吗?2)当你从图书馆借书时,要记得还书的日期。
3)每个人都有自己的未来。
4)Tom是那家宾馆的所有者。
3.beginning和end的用法常用短语:in the beginning = first of all = at first 起初;一开始at the beginning of + 名词/代词在...的开始in the end = at last = finally 最后at the end of + 名词/代词在...的末端/尾部例:In the beginning, we all believed him. 在一开始,我们都相信他的话。

“there be”没有主语,独立完成形式上的“主语、谓语”部分,而其意义上的主语,一般是句子后面“介词短语”的“名词”部分。
例:There is a book in my bag.介词短语“in my bag”中的名词“bag”是“有、存在”这个东西的主体。
但并不表示“bag”拥有“book”2)There be 结构可按“there”为主语,“be”为系动词的结构,根据需要变化相应的形式。
例:There is a book in my bag.变成一般疑问句为:Is there a book in your bag? 【主系表结构的肯定陈述句变一般疑问句的规则:系动词提前,其它不变,末尾加问号】2、pick up some shopping = buy something“pick up some shopping”这里不能简单替换成“go shopping”,因为“go shopping”是一种“有计划、有意识、有目的”的行为“去购物”,而“pick up”潜在的意思是“顺便、不经意的”的意思。
3、call 与 talk 的比较使用“call”是“称呼、呼叫”的意思,所以一般与相应介词连用,可构成短语“打电话给”、“呼叫”、“要求”等;“talk”是“讲述、谈论、告诉”的意思,所以一般构成的短语如“讨论”、“讲述”等。
4、look 的相关短语积累look for 寻找 look after 照顾 look up 查找你平时还见过哪些呢?请总结下来吧!5、介词 at 、in、 on 的使用小结“at”一般指在什么地点;“in”表示在……里,“on”表示在……(表面)上;三者都可与“时间”连用,但在具体表示“在…….时”有不同,一般“时间点”用“at”,“日子”用“on”,“月、年”用“in”。

Unit 23 Quite tall...and quite striking!相当高......也相当引人注目一、重点单词及拓展:1.very, too, quite, rather, so都可以作为程度副词,修饰动词、形容词、副词表示程度。
1)very 最普通,表示“非常,很”,放在形容词或副词之前。
例:Tom is a very careful boy. 汤姆是一个很细心的男孩。
2)too 表示“太”,用在形容词或副词之前。
短语:too...to do sth. 太......而不能做某事(表示否定意思)例:This question is too difficult. 这个问题太难了。
This question is too difficult to answer. 这个问题太难了,不能回答。
3)quiet, rather都表示“相当”,程度要比very略高,但所放位置与very不同。
例:That is quite/rather a nice car. = That is a very nice car. 那是一辆相当漂亮的车。
