浅议《麦田里的守望者》中意象的对比解亚辉(北华航天工业学院外语系,河北廊坊065000)摘 要:《麦田里的守望者》是美国作家J .D .塞林格的一部反映二战后美国青少年生活和思想的杰作。
被称为当代美国的“现代经典”。
以往有关本作品在艺术上的研究成果主要是其语言、叙事、象征等表现手法方面,本文是从对比的角度对文中意象展开分析,分析了作者如何运用意象中的对比使主题得以进一步深化。

0 IntroductionJerome David Salinger (1919-)is an outstand -ing American w riter of post -w ar America .He is recognized by many critics and readers alike as one of the most popular and influential authors of American w riters .In this novel J .D .Salinger contrasts the child w orld w ith the adult w orld from imagery .With sharp contrast ,Salinger tells readers how difficult for Hold -en to adapt to the phony w orld around him and shows us the conflicts in Holden 's mind .He suffers from these and doesn 't know how to remove them so that he plans to flee from the reality .So he w ants to be the catcher in the rye to protect children from falling dow n the cliff -the phony adult wo rld .The themes of this novel are deepened g radually w ith the w riting technique of contrast .The novel brilliantly display s the living and psychological situ -ation of the youth in that particular period .J .D .Salinger and his protagonist Holden become as popu -lar figures in that day as they are now .1 Imagery of Comm unication Vs Solitude“Telephone ”appears frequently in the novel .Holden long s to phone somebody in this novel .How -ever ,the result is disillusionary .Nearly each time he hangs the pho ne ,he is disappointed .Telephone is atool used to communicate and set up a close relation -ship .But in this novel it is not .Telephone mostly means communication ,not solitude .How ever ,Salin -ger employ s the telephone to show the solitude of Holden .So here the image of “telephone ”reflects that Holden extremely desires to communicate w ithothers .But in fact it play s an opposite role ,w hich makes Holden feel more solitary .In this novel Holden mentions he wants to phone someone because of solitude .Holding telephone ,he does not know w hom he can call .At the very begin -ning ,he thinks of his family members .He w ants to call his younger sister ,Phoebe .But he can not .The trouble is that she will not be the one to answer the phone .His parents will be the first answ erers .Then he thinks of Jane ,the girl he loves best .He also thi -nks of his girl friend Sally Hayes and his classmate Carl Luce at Whoo ton School .But he does not call anybody in time .After about tw enty minutes or so ,he goes out of the booth .He becomes so depressed that he gives the driver the w rong address .Telephone in this novel helps J .D .Salinger show the protagonist 's solitude .He can escape from the school ,but he cannot get out of solitude .Finally he finds an address of a strange and indecent girl and calls her up late at night .Disconsolate Holden invites her to have cocktail somew here .Unfortunately he is refused again .Loneliness starts attacking him for a second time .M aybe to the others having the phone means the approach to communicate w ith the outside 第19卷第4期2009年8月 北华航天工业学院学报Journal of Nor th China Institute of Aerospace Engineering Vol .19No .4 Aug .2009w orld,to release their depressio n and sadness and to be aw ay from solitude.But the telephone to Holden makes the readers discover his painful and solitary in-ner heart.The role of the telephone in the novel(sol-itude)and the original function of it(communica-tion)in the real life show a sharp contrast.2 Imagery of Insensibility Vs Vulnerability2.1 Fish vs DucksThe post-war America changes a lot in the con-cepts of value and morality.M any people become mil-lionaires over night.Money becomes the only target that they hunt for.There's little genuine affection among people.All of these,just like ice,cover the society soon.People have no choice but to accept the reality.They are unable to escape aw ay from the w orld,just as they cannot get aw ay from the coming w inter.As a result,they have to adapt to the falling w orld and become insensitive to the society.They are just like the fish in the Central Park,which have to live beneath the ice in the w inter,because it's impos-sible for them to flee aw ay from the pool.They have the ability to adapt to the bad surroundings,because they know it's no use fighting against nature.To the fish that's their destiny;to the adults in the post-w ar w orld,that's their doomed fate.Just as one taxi driver tells Holden“The fish don't go no place.They stay rig htwhere they are,the fish.”“Their bodies take in nutrition and all,right through the goddam seaw eed and crap that's in the ice.They got their pores open the w hole time.That's their nature,fo r Chrissake.”“If you w as a fish,Mother Nature'd take care of you,w ouldn't she?Right?You do n't think them fish just die when it gets to be w inter,do y a?”(P83,The Catcher in the Rye),fish symbolizes insensibility in this novel.In this novel ducks in the Central Park are men-tioned several times.It's not difficult to find why Holden cares so much about them.He wonders how the ducks spend w inter and w here they go.He wor-ries about the ducks'fate in the cold winter w hen the lake is icy..Ducks are sensitive to the surroundings. They are vulnerable and cannot get through the cold w inter.How ever,fish can live under the ice and get food from water.Holden's situation is just like the ducks.At that time he lives in the sternly cool and unmoved w orld in which people only cares about themselves.He is considered to be abnorm al in this w orld,and it's hard fo r him to adapt to the society. This situation makes him alw ay s worry about his ow n fate.He asks several persons about this,but nobody cares.On the contrary,Holden,a w eak and fragile boy,is alw ay s annoyed by them,and gets ironic re-sponse.Obviously the duck is the imagery of vulnera-bility.Contrasted w ith the adult,Holden doesn't care about the fish.He doesn't w ant to submit to the doomed fate w aiting for him.He imagines himself to be the ducks.When they have no place to go in win-ter,they w ill find another comfortable place to avoid the icy wo rld.Holden is alw ays looking for ano ther place to live in,but he doesn't know w here to go and how to leave the icy w orld.That is w hy he cares much about the ducks'fate.Now he is helpless,but no one is w illing to help him and show him the w ay to be aw ay from the predicament.The reason is that the adults are sensitive to nothing,including Holden's asking for help.How ever,Holden is vulnerable and keen on every thing,so he gets more solitude and chooses alienation in the end.3 Im agery of Depression Vs VitalityRed is another impo rtant imagery in The Catcher in the Rye w hich appears m any times in the novel. M any things relevant to Holden Caulfield are all de-scribed in red color.Fo r instance,Holden's red hunting hat,the red hair of the excellent kids-Allie and Phoebe in his heart,and the red and white sweater of Jane and so on.Color is a significant signal w hich is widely connected w ith other thing s.In all of the colors,red is used mo re ually it sig ni-fies blood,sacrifice and passion.From the red color it can be found two opposite aspects in Holden.3.1 The Image of Enthusiasm and VitalityRed is the color of fire.It is the image of fiery passion,persistent seeking and strong desire.And this can be found in Holdenin,his search fo r truth, true love,enthusiasm and persistence to new lifes-2009年8月北华航天工业学院学报 第19卷tyle.In his heart his dead bro ther Allie is a saint w ho has all the virtues.In his eyes Allie is the incarnation of truth,justice and mo rality.His sister,Phoebe, w ho stands for the enthusiasm and vitality of the child w orld,is also the witness of his losing childhood.To Holden,Allie and Phoebe are the ex cellent kids in the w orld.They both have the virtues that good kids should possess.What's more,they have a significant similarity:bo th have flaming hair.From the descrip-tion of Allie's hair w e can discover that Holden loves him and yearns for him very much.It is a nice and sw eet recollection.Now let's see how Holden de-scribes Phoebe's red hair.“She(Phoebe)has this sort of red hair,a little like Allie's w as,that's very sho rt in the summer-time.In the summertime,she sticks it behind her ears.She has nice,pretty little ears.In the w inter-time,it's pretty long,though.Sometimes my moth-er braids it and sometimes she doesn't.It's really nice,though.”(P67)Salinger mentions Allie and Phoebe's red hair many times.Salinger's vividly description about the red hair show s his intention to endow the red colo r w ith the symbolic meaning of enthusiasm and vital moral.Jane is another important person,though she is always behind the screen.She isn't beautiful,but she is the idol of female in Holden's heart.Holden still remembers Jane's red and white sweater w hich Jane ever w ore several years ago.Red is a im age of enthusiasm and vitality.From Salinger's meticulous description it can be figured out that Jane is innocent, energetic and passionate.This is just the author's consummate w riting skill.Holden's recall and deep love fo r Jane embodies his longing and pursuance to the vitality in life.3.2 Image of Negative and Rebellious meaningsThe Catcher in the Rye is considered as the American Modern Classic.The protagonist Holden Caulfield is imitated by student readers in colleges and middle schools.They wear w ind coats in w inter, sw ing the peak of red hunting hat to the back and im-itate Holden's tones and actions.The reason why Holden is so concerned about in America after World War II is not o nly because of his special language,his childish ideas and actions,but also because of his re-bellious character.This can be seen from the vivid de-scription of Holden's action,language and pondering.The red hunting hat is a sig nificant sy mbol of his rebellious nature.He likes to w ear it reading his fa-vorite book.He likes to show it before his friends. He even presents it to his lovely sister as a gift.The red hunting hat is an important line throughout the w hole novel.It reveals the protagonist Holden's character and the relationship between him and o ther characters.So the red hunting hat can help us undo-ubtedly quarry the traits of the protagonist and the soul of the novel.After Holden finishes his dull conv-ersation w ith his history teacher M r.Spencer,he re-turns to his dorm in Penc ey.“it w as pretty nice to get back to my room,after I left old Spencer,because every body w as down at the game,and the heat was on in our room,for a change.It felt sort of cosy.I took off my coat and my tie and unbuttoned my shirt collar,and then I put on this hat that I'd boug ht in New York that mo rning.”(P17)This is the first time that the red hunting hat is referred.Befo re Holden starts describing this hat,we have felt his af-fection for it,because that is a quite cosy atmosphere.“It w as this red hunting hat,with one of those very, very long peaks.”“I saw it in the w indow of this sports store when w e go t out of the subw ay,just after I noticed.I'd lost all the goddam foils.It only cost me a buck.”(P17)Obviously Holden is mainly at-tracted by its bright color,special shape and a very long peak.Holden's rebellious spirit permeates everyw here in the novel.It is one of his most ty pical characters, and it is also w here the soul is.All of these are a kind of soulful explosion under the impressive w orld.It is just the red hunting hat w hich displays the soul so vividly and lively that it impresses the readers deeply.The image of blood appears repeatedly in this novel,w hich helps us comprehend deeply Holden's changing psy chological process and other aspects of his character.Blood is the im age of Holden's co nfu-第4期解亚辉:浅议《麦田里的守望者》中意象的对比2009年8月sion and weakness.In addition,it is the image of de-pression.In this novel Salinger employs flashback to describe Holden's loafing ex perienc e in New York. Actually the two days w andering to Holden is a pro-cess to seek truth,sincerity and true love.During the tw o days he savors expectation,disappointment, w rath and despair.As a-sixteen-year-old boy,he cannot stand the shock of the cruel reality.His search for love ends in his mental breakdown and being sent into the asylum.In the dictionary,blood is usually defined to ex-press terro r,massacre and cruelty besides its inherent meaning.From this point blood has the symbolic meaning of cruelty and ruthlessness.In the novel Salinger show s us a callous hum an w orld by describ-ing the image of blood in Holden's mind.However, as an enthusiastic and radical young man,he refuses to com promise to the dirty wo rld.He becomes w rath and tries to fight against the hypocritical w orld.He's ever fought against hy pocrites tw ice,but both end in failure.Finally he understands it's incapable for him to change the loathsome w orld.Nevertheless he does not give up.He avenges the w orld in his ow n way. 基于量化考核的应用型高校学生德育管理研究
第29卷第1期2019年2月Vol.29 No.1Feb.2019 北华航天工业学院学报Journal of North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering 0 引 言量化管理是一种基于系统管理和项目管理的组织问题解决方案，是从目标出发，以数字为基础，以岗位为操作单元，通过工作量化、能力量化，对关键的决策点及操作流程实行标准化管控的系统管理模式。
为实现以德育人的学生管理目标，在高等应用型院校学生德育管理工作中，积极探索并推广量化管理，对学校管理部门及学生个体均具有重要意义。
在大学校园，通过吸收、运用量化管理的某些手段，对德育进行量化考核，将大学生的内在思想品德的“质”外化为行为习惯的“量”，可以帮助管理部门有序地积累日常管理资料，从中发现规律性的问题，分析找出问题的症结，有针对性的进行引导、督促，解决学生成人成才中的难点问题。
对学生个体而言，科学完善的量化考核，有助于学生形成良好的生活习惯、学习习惯、职业习惯。
在一个相对达成思想共识的学校氛围中彼此竞争与互助，有助于学生摒弃个别的极端的不良行为习惯，建立责任感与荣誉感，形成个人发展与团体共荣的发展理念，提高个人的生存能力和团体的发展潜力。
尤其对于应用型高校而言，大部分学生毕业后会直接走上工作岗位，毕业生能以“准职业人”的身份与社会接轨是学生个人、家长、学校、社会的共同期望，对学生德育管理进行量化考核能够为学生由学校走向社会在思维模式及行为习惯上打好基础，有利于他们顺利走向社会，成为真正的职业人。
由于德育涉及到思想、政治、道德、法律、心理健康等多个方面，具有涵盖范围广、表现较为隐形等特点，那么如何将一个人内在的思想品德的质外化为行为习惯的量来考核呢？笔者以宣化科技职业学院为基地进行了为期五年的德育量化考核实践，并取得了可行性成效。
通过实践经验总结与理论研究，我们得出如下结论：德育量化考核的良好运行需要五大要素：1 建立德育量化考核的指标体系建立德育量化考核的指标体系是量化考核的基础。

四、来稿要求:1.重点突出、文字精练、引证及数据准确、图表清晰;每篇文章严格限制在3千5千字。
2.文章的题目、作者姓名、作者单位名称、摘要和关键词要求用中、英文写出。
摘要应包含研究目的、研究过程和方法、结果、结论,并层次清晰、简明。
中文摘要的编写应客观真实、不掺杂作者的主观见解,忌发空洞评语,不作模棱两可的结论,要求结构严谨,语意确切,采用规范化名词术语,充分反映文章的主题范围及内容梗概,中文摘要不超过300字为宜;英文摘要要求文章主题一定要表述明确,要求语意表达准确,拼写、语法正确,语句通顺,方法、过程用过去时态,结果用现在时态,英文摘要不超过250个实词为宜;关键词参照G B ΠT 3860-1995和航天情报研究所制定的《航空航天主题词典》标注。
3.来稿一式两份,按公开发表的要求清稿、定稿、文责自负;字迹要清楚、勿写草体字,简体字以国家公布的为准,文中所用计量符号和单位应采用国家法定计量标准,请用A 4纸5号字打印。

随着Linux 的迅速普及和发展,越来越多的企业和个人开始使用Linux 系统,而Linux 以其系统强大的功能、对多用户的支持和运行稳健的特性越来越多的应用在网络方面,很适合为Web Server 或网络数据库管理系统等服务提供操作系统平台[1]。
但网卡驱动程序的加载与配置比较特殊,Linux 的支持函数少,只能依赖内核中的函数,许多操作需要自己编写,而且调试也非常不方便,因此在Linux 下进行网卡的加载和配置的设计就显得十分重要。
1 Linu x 系统网络设备在Linux 系统中有3种类型的设备:字符设备、块设备和网络设备[2]。
其中前两种设备的驱动都是以文件形式存在于/dev 目录下,可以在用户进程中对其进行读写操作。
而网络设备驱动提供的网络界面并未存在于文件系统之中。
在使用网络设备时,用户进程不再是以文件读写的方式对设备进行操作,而是通过针对特定协议的界面与操作系统的网络协议软件进行通信。
首先,网络设备在Linux 下有其不同于其它设备的处理方式[3]。
Linux 对所有的网络设备进行了抽象并定义了一个统一的概念,称之为接口(inter -face)。

(1)篇名篇名应以简明、确切的词语反映文章中最重要的特定内容，避免使用非公知、公认的缩写词，一般不宜超过20个字。
(2)摘要要以第三人称表述，写成报道性文摘，内容包括研究目的、主要方法、结果或结论，不应有评价性词语。
篇幅在300字以内，英文摘要与中文摘要内容对应。
(3) 关键词关键词应尽量从《汉语主题词表》中选用，以3〜8个为宜。
(4) 引言引言的内容可包括研究目标、意义和背景材料，应开门见山，不要与摘要雷同。
(5) 正文论文的正文部分系指引言之后，结论之前的部分。
①层次标题各级层次标题要简单明确（一般不超过20个字）并一律用阿拉伯数字连续编号，不同层次的数字之间用 圆点隔开，如1; 2.1: 3.2. 1末位数字后面不加标点。
