随着时代的进步，社会的发展，市场所需要的人才也各种各样，形形色色。
可是，目前很多大学生所从事的工作与所学专业关系不大，比如说有的大学生毕业后没有找到专业对口的工作，而是直接进行自主创业，一些理工科的大学生却做起来文员的工作等等。
出现这种现象的原因很多，但是我想主要有以下四方面的原因：
一、学校人才的供给与市场人才的需求存在矛盾；
二、大学生知识的摄取与知识的输出存在矛盾。
只是一味追求大而全，而不是精而细；
三、大学生个人的兴趣、目标与现实状况相矛盾。
目前国内多数学生对职业目标相对模糊，没有把兴趣爱好与自己所学的专业很好地结合；
四、大型企业和中小型企业的用人理念存在矛盾。
由于中小型企业资金、人力资源组成等方面受到限制，选人用人基本上没有导入人力资源管理技术，多数企业缺什么人找什么人，没有人力资源发展的整体规划，使得学生选择空间减少。
我的看法是，大学生所从事工作与所学专业关系不大，究其原因有两方面，一是学生本身对专业与就业的不了解，以及对就业待遇等要求有些不满足；二是学校教育结构与培养模式没能跟随、适应现在社会发展的步伐，培养创新型、实践型人才。
