而unit 1 是一个以听、说技能训练为主的单元，围绕Tony 和Lingling谈论演讲比赛的对话，学生将初步感知现在完成时的表达特点。
本单元的内容将对其后两个单元以及随后三个模块的语法学习做铺垫，是非常重要的知识环节。
