教学重点检测学生是否能够听懂本单元所学的有关圣诞节和春节的词汇和交际用语。
教学难点送礼物用语。
课前准备教学挂图教学投影片教学录音磁带格式精美贺卡。
（教师准备）彩笔及学习用具（学生自备）制作贺卡的纸（学生自备）教学过程1.可先指导学生复习新学的英文歌曲，并鼓励学生单独演唱、小组演唱或全班演唱。
2.引导学生通过教学挂图，复习本单元所学的有关圣诞节和春节的词汇和交际用语。
3.在听录音之前，教师可指导学生分组（pair work）说一说A部分中4组图的内容，然后在指导学生说第37课和38课的的歌谣，以帮助他们复习有关的单词和交际用语。
4.指导学生听录音2 ～3遍，学生先独立完成听力判断的任务：从每组图的两幅小图中，选出其中与听力材料有关的一幅，在该图的圆圈内打√。
然后学生已pair work的形式互相说出自己选择的答案。
5.在播放录音1～2遍，给出正确的答案，供学生核对、更正。
6.在B部分教学活动中，教师可先让学生看图猜一猜将要做什么，然后想一想要把贺卡送给谁，最后在考虑要在贺卡上画什么内容。
7.指导学生边画边听所学英文歌曲，学生还可边画边唱英文歌曲。
