三、存在的问题及原因分析1、缺乏自信心。

学生要很好地记忆单词,信心是保证。

当学生满怀自信心和激情去做某件事时,他就会做得很好。

信心需要自己的不断努力,同时也离不开老师的鼓励。

2、对记忆单词的挑战性缺乏足够的心理准备。

学生在一开始记忆单词的效果是很好的,但随着学习任务的加重和单词量的越来越大,其记忆效果大不如前。

究其原因,学生对单词记忆的困难估计不足,缺乏心理准备,当遇到一些困难时容易丧失信心。

3、记忆方法不科学。

在学生的潜意识中,背单词就和小学背诵古诗文一样,要靠“死记硬背”,背诵古诗文固然如此,但背单词却有不同。

所以很多同学就会养成光动嘴不动手的习惯,殊不知,英语单词的记忆要调动各个器官,尤其是嘴,手,眼,脑。

初中学生英语学习动机和方法调查报告一、调查目的了解初中学生现有的英语学习动机,以及英语学习方法,在了解具体情况的基础上,探讨其对学习效果的影响,并给出关于英语的教法和学法的建议,帮助学生找出不良因素,为老师找出合理方法。

使教学理念与方法在实践中结合,加强教学的针对性。

同时要调动学生的主观能动性和兴趣,帮助制定合理计划。

通过这些途径力求教学效果达到最佳水平,最终以改变中学生的学习现状为目标。

二、调查方法与对象根据本课题的研究目的,本次调查的方法主要采用问卷调查。

共有两份问卷调查,其中一份是初中生学习方法问卷调查表,共20道选择题;另一份是初中生学习动机调查问卷共20个判断对错。

对象为颍州中学初一年级学生。

共发问卷106份,有效问卷106份。

三、调查结果和原因分析此次调查涉及到影响学生英语学习的两大因素:其一,英语学习方法,包括课前预习,听课方式和课后复习等方面。

其二,英语学习动机,包括学习主动性,学习兴趣,学习态度和学习目标制定等方面。

现就调查的现状分析如下:(一).学生自身对课前预习的态度,内容和方法调查第4题“有的同学表示课前预习对自己学习有很大帮助,所以习惯预习;而有的同学表示预习对学习没有什么帮助,所以不预习。

你呢?”这个问题时,选“D.经常预习”的只占30%;选“C.老师布置预习才预习”的占36%;选“B.很少预习”的占34%;选“A.不预习”的占0%。

大部分学生对预习的主动性欠缺,大部分是在老师布置的情况下才预习。

所以老师在平时教学中要对学生的预习工作多做明确指示。

调查第5题“如果你预习,那你都经常预习哪些内容?”选择”A.单词”占57%。

选择”D.全部”占30%。

有一半以上的同学选择预习单词,说明单词在他们的学习中是难点内容。

所以老师在平时的教学工作要多花时间帮助学生预习单词。

调查第6题”预习的方式多种多样,你常用哪一种?”选择”A.把要学的内容看一遍”占34%.选择”B.阅读要学的内容并归纳出重点难点”占13%。

选择”C.阅读要学内容,并归纳出重难点并划出不懂或有疑问的地方”占23%。

选择”D.阅读要学内容并查阅相关资料,解决疑难”占30%由此可以看出小部分同学的预习效果并不理想,仅仅看一遍是无法达到预习目的的。

大部分学生能够做到能带着问题上课做到有重点的听课。

(二).学生的听课方式在调查第9题“不同的学生有不同的听课方式,你是怎样的呢?”一题时,选“A.听课时不记笔记,但愿意想,会配合老师的节奏”的占19%。

选“B.老师让记什么记什么”的占21%;选“C.听课时会记自己认为重要的笔记,但常常听不到老师讲的下面的内容”的占21%;选“D.一面听,一面吧老师讲的和自己认为重要的内容记在书上”的占57%;总体来说大部分学生有很好的记笔记习惯,但是也有少数同学没有记笔记的习惯。

在初中阶段老师要对于没有主动记笔记的学生加以提醒。

并对重要内容给学生留出足够的时间做笔记。

(三)学生的复习方式在调查第16题“关于复习你是怎样做的呢?”一题时,选“A.在平时,测验和考试前都不复习”的占11%;选“B.老是强调要复习才复习”的占40%;选“C.平时不复习,测验和考试前会复习”的占49%。

选“D.在平时,测验和考试前都会认真复习”的占40%。

大部分学生是在考试和测验前才选择复习。

所以老师在组织教学工作中要注意每个单元的测试,这样能激励学生进行复习总结。

(四)学生对学习的主动性从调查结果来看,1.虽然大部分学生能积极主动学习,但是仍有36%的同学无法做到积极主动。

2.虽然大部分学生会除了老师布置作业外,会再多看书。

但仍有28%的同学不会。

3.虽然大部分学生能主动设法弄懂不懂的内容。

但仍有19%的同学不会。

这些数据说明了影响学生学习效果的一个重要因素是学习的主动性不够,虽然现在主张以学生为中心的教学,老师只是作为引导者。

但是想要实现这个效果,老师还应着手培养学生的主动性。

(五)学生对学习的兴趣从调查结果来看,26%的同学只在自己喜欢的科目上下狠功夫,而对不喜欢的学科放任自流。

2.34%的学生花在课外读物的时间比花在教科书上的时间要多得多。

3.仅有42%的同学把自己的时间平均分配在各科上。

这些数据都说明了兴趣对学习的影响,学生们偏向于把时间花在自己感兴趣的地方,这就要求教师努力提高所教课程的趣味性,不仅是课堂要缤纷多彩,而且还要通过交流逐渐培养永久的兴趣。

(六)学生对学习的态度从调查结果看:1.83%的学生希望自己不花太多时间成绩也会超过别人。

2.75%的学生迫切希望自己短时间内提高成绩。

3.68%学生常为短时间内成绩没有提高而伤心不已。

这些数据表明了学生对提高学习效率的迫切性。

大部分学生有着急功近利的思想态度。

这对学习是不利的。

要知道学习是一个循序渐进的过程,过分的最求短时间内提高成绩只会给自己增加压力,让学生在挫败感中逐渐失去学习的兴趣。

(七)学生对学习目标制定上的行为困扰从调查结果看:1.58%的同学因无法达成自己的学习目标而不得不放弃。

2.仅有17%的同学能毫不费力的实现自己的学习目标。

3.55%的学生总是同时为实现几个学习目标而忙的焦头烂额。

4.43%的同学为了实现一个大目标,不再给自己制定循序渐进的小目标。

这些数据说明了现如今学生对学习目标的制定上还不够合理。

多数学生指定的目标太过远大,而没有一些循序渐进的小目标,从而导致因无法达成目标渐渐放弃,渐渐失去学习的信心。

教师应该在学生目标的制定上多给你记得意见,让学生尽量制定自己力所能及的目标,逐步培养学生的学习兴趣。

四、对调查结果的思考(一)学习方法对学习效果的影响1.课前预习是听好课的基础,也是培养学生自主学习能力的好方法,通过预习能减少学生听课过程的盲目性,使其思维活跃,上课时有饥饿感,能把握教师的上课重点,做到新旧知识的融会贯通。

2.做笔记能有效提高学生的注意力,并且能加深记忆,有助于提高学生的学习效率,所以学生要注意上课做好笔记,同时老师也要注意到记笔记的好处,在重难点的地方给学生留多余的时间记笔记。

3.课后的复习和检测有利于巩固学习的内容,使短时记忆变成永久记忆,只有永久记忆我们才能做到灵活应用。

4.高效率的背诵策略有利于提高学生的信心,学生要不断尝试各种学习策略,到适合自己的,形成一套自己的学习方法,按部就班的不断积累以求达到目标。

5.多与老师和同学讨论交流,才能意识到自己的薄弱,提高自身能力。

6.培养良好的学习习惯使学习过程轻松快乐,有条不紊。

(二)学习动机对学习效果的影响1.学习动机能促进学习,表现在能决定学生的学习方向,能加强学生努力程度。

首先,学习动机使学习者具有明确的学习目标,知晓自己为什么而学习,朝着哪个方向努力。

其次,学习动机使学习者积极主动并持之以恒地寻求有关的信息。

2.动机水平高的学生能够在长时间的学习中保持认真的学习态度,具有坚持把学习任务最后完成的学习毅力。

有些学生之所以学习成绩不良,其原因即在于学习动机低下,在学习中不能克服困难保持注意力和主动进行学习。

3.学习的动机越高,学生越有主动,只有积极主动的学习才能收获好的学习效果。

其中兴趣是最重要的,学生应注意培养对英语的兴趣。

4.态度决定高度,面对学习任务要脚踏实地的完成,不要期望走捷径,不劳而获,一步登天,这都是不切实际的,不良的学习态度不利于学生清晰的了解自己,针对自己的问题提出解决方案。

5.学习目标的制定要量力而行,过高的目标会因无法完成而失去信心并放弃,过低的目标又会让人失去斗。

学生应该把远大的长久目标和阶段性的小目标相结合,这样有助于学生既能品尝到实现目标的喜悦,又能不断奋进。

(三)改变初中生英语学习现状的建议1.养成良好的学习习惯。

学生要有计划、有目的、有步骤地学习,同时也要学会预、复习,做完习题后善于进行知识的梳理,归纳和总结。

2.学生要培养上课做笔记的习惯,教师要对重点内容加以提醒,好记性不如烂笔头,这样能让学生加深印象。

3.课前认真预习,做到带着问题听课;课后认真复习,做到对所学内容能归纳梳理。

4.不要急功近利,要放慢脚步,慢慢的找到适合自己的学习方法并持之以恒,只有日积月累的辛苦,才能有踏踏实实的收获。

5.小步子前进,不要企图一次成功,也不要企图在短时间内取得成功,要一步一个脚印的踏踏实实的取得成功。

6.注重内心检测,在学习中要把大量时间用在反思与检测上,温故而知新,同学在不断纠正和温习的过程中会取得巨大收获。

(四)改变教师教学现状的建议1.要多了解学生,能对同学提出与之相对应的建议,完善学习方法,提高学习兴趣。

在适当时机做好检测工作,巩固所学知识。

2.教材内容要生动活泼,多组织活动和游戏调动学习气氛,使学生产生兴趣。

课堂的对话要尽量口语化,尽量避免生僻词汇,提升学习者的信心,提高学生主动性。

3.教师要多运用多媒体,图片,实物等教学资源,使教学内容更直观,给学生营造一个学习英语的氛围,逐步培养学生用英语思考的能力。

六、总结通过这次的调查,使我更加深刻的了解到现阶段初中生的英语学习方法和动机,了解到学生的需要和老师的辛苦。

想要满足学生的需求,作为未来的老师我们要不断的努力,不仅对教学方法要好好研究,对于学习方法更要深入探讨,要让学生从引导式的学习方式转换成自学的方式。

这对学生的未来可持续发展有着深刻的意义。

同时作为教师要注意调动学生的学习积极性,激发学习兴趣,让学生从消极被动的思想转化为积极主动,同时关于学生的目标要给予正确引导,调整学生心态,使学生对英语充满信心,自信是成功的第一要诀,这样才能有良性的循环。
