一、教材分析本单元话题是谈论life goals . be going to ，want to be结构表述将来计划，是初中学习的一个重要的内容。
在第一课时Section A 1a-1c学习了关于未来职业的讨论，使用了句型：what do you want to be when you grow up ? How are you going to do that ? 在这一课时继续感知这句型。
2a-2b以听力活动的形式进行了拓展，用what, how, when, where, be going to, want to be就将来的计划进行听和说的练习。
2d设置了真实的情景—与他人交流未来自己的职业。
二、学情分析学生对于谈论未来职业应该比较感兴趣，学生已学习了一些职业词汇及句型want to be， How are you going to do that ?但还不熟练，特别是学生的基础薄弱，所以完成听力填表格会比较的困难。
