Step 1 Warm up
1.Do you still remember Neil? Where does he from? Where does he live?
2.Do you think Neil’s home would look the same as ho mes in China? What his home like? Do
you want know more about his home?
Step 2 Presentation
1.Show the pictures of Neil’s home, and say:
a.How many rooms does it have? What are they?
b.What else does it have?
c.Let’s look at Photo a. T his is Neil’s dinning room. What is in the dinning room? What’s on the
table? Where are the chairs?
d.Next, let’s look at the Photo b. what’s in his garden?
e.Photo c is his living room. Where is the TV in his living room? What is on the wall?
f.Photo d shows his kitchen. What can you see in it?
g.Which photo is his bedroom? What’s in his bedroom?
h.Which photo is his bathroom? Where is the shower? What is near the toilet?
Step 3 Listening
1.Pre-listening:
a.If you will have to introduce Neil’s home, what is your order?
b.Listen to the tape to see wha t Neil’s order is.
2.While-listening:
a.The first time, put the pictures in the correct order.
b.The second time, judge the following sentences right or wrong:
