We have over 34 major ports and more than 2000 minor ports, which are responsible for handling a significant amount of cargo every year.The major ports in China include Shanghai Port, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, Qingdao Port, and Tianjin Port. These ports are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and have a high level of efficiency. Shanghai Port, for example, is the busiest port in China and the fourth busiest port in the world. It handles over 700 million tons of cargo every year.Apart from these major ports, China also has many minor ports that are scattered along the coastline. These portsare responsible for handling local trade and are essential for the development of the local economy. For example, the port of Xiamen is a small port in Fujian Province that is responsible for handling local trade in the region. It has a long history and is famous for its beautiful scenery.China's ports are not only important for trade but also for tourism. Many ports offer cruise services, which are popular among tourists.
