What does she look like? She has long hair. Do you think he is cute?
• 教学活动
• 做“他(她)是谁”游戏。让学生每人画一位同学的简笔画,注 意明显的发型、面部等特征。将学生分成两人一组,就各自所画 人物进行对话。在对话中要尽量使用课文中的句型。 • 课前准备 • 教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图、单词卡片。
教学过程
• 1. Warm-up.
• 教师课前准备好各种发型(长发,短发,直发等)和面部表情 (笑脸,淘气的脸等)的图片,上课时依次拿出这些图片让学生 看。教师可以说:Look at the hair of the girl. Is it long or short? 为 了加深学生对这些词的理解,教师可以随机指着一个长/短发的女 生说:She has long/short hair. 这样,本节教学内容就自然呈现出 来了。
• 2. 任务1的教学: • (1)在进行上述活动的基础上,教师可将人物 发型特征写到黑板上或用卡片展示,先让学生了解和 熟悉这些英语单词。 • (2)让学生看Look, listen and act的教学内容, 看对话中出现了哪些人物,提到了哪些人物特征。 • (3)播放Look, listen and act的录音,先让学 生听两遍。在听懂大意的基础上,给学生布置“任 务”,比如:Who is the new girl? What does the girl look like? Where is the new boy from?等,让学 生带着问题、带着目的去听录音。

【教学重难点】1.词汇:pink, smiling, pretty, Australia, volleyball, photo, team, blonde, player, high, brown 2.句型:(1)She has a pink, smiling face.(2)She's pretty.(3)Xiao Lin has long, black hair.(4)Jane has short, brown hair.【教学准备】教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图和制作的课件。

【教学过程】1.任务3的教学:(1)上课时,教师先用学过的句型What does ... look like? 发问,引导和鼓励学生根据实际情况用She/he has long/short hair. 等句子进行回答。

(2)教师出示文中Listen and number的图片,然后放录音,让学生先听一遍录音。

然后,根据录音内容在图中人物下面的括号内填上序号。

(3)再放一遍录音,让学生根据录音核对所填数字是否正确,或老师直接给出正确答案。

任务3录音材料:—Hi, Li Wei.—Mum, I have many new friends.—Tell me about them.—Yang Na has long straight hair. She is very kind. Amy is from the US. She has long, blonde hair.—John is from England.—What does he look like?—John is tall and thin. He has short, blonde hair.—I see.—There is Li Xiao. He is strong.
