Step 1、Free talk
T: hello, everyone, welcome back to school! From now on, you are a ninth grader. We must have spent an interesting summer holiday.
What did you do in the summer holiday? What interested you?
S1: I went to Beijing with my parents, and visited Beijing University.
T: what about you?
S2: I learned swimming from my father.
T: what did you learn?
S3: I learned some English songs.

进一步巩固学生的英语基础。
【自评】写作任务的布置，把听、说、读、用等教学活动落实到写上，通过作业把课堂教学的内容有机地向课外延伸。
四、课后反思
本课具体体现了在英语课程中学生合作学习，培养自主能力，并在英语课程中创造性的学习。
教师不再是课程的执行者，而是课程的开发者、决策者、分析者，因此我遵循新课程“以人为本”的新观念，创设各种合作学习的活动，让学生以小组为单位自学新词，并变换角色，既是老师，教给其他组内同学学习成果；又是学生，认真学习其他组所教授的新知识。
在学习中倡导学生主动参与、乐于配合、自主探究，收到了较理想的教学效果。
另外，也存在着一些缺撼：如每一个活动完成后，没有及时进行总结和点评。
在以后的教学活动中将更进一步去研究、去完善，力争做得更好。
