本单元旨在通过学习春节的相关知识,培养学生的跨文化意识和英语交际能力。

他们对春节这一中国传统节日可能有一定的了解,但对于春节的具体习俗和活动可能不太了解。
他们对节日有一定的兴趣,喜欢参与各种庆祝活动。
五、教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up- Greet the students and ask them about their favorite festivals. For example, you can say, "Good morning, class! I hope you're all doing well. Let's start by talking about our favorite festivals. Raise your hand and tell me the name of your favorite festival."- Show pictures or objects related to different festivals and ask the students to guess the names of the festivals. Apart from that,they want to spread our traditional culture. But it’s a bit difficult for them to read the name of the festivals, so they need more practice after class.

【教学过程】:
(一)导入:
一.复习
1.老师带领大家复习上一模块学习的韵诗。
让学生跟着录音边说边做动作,活跃课堂气氛。
2.老师针对节日的主题向学生提问:What do people do on Thanksgiving Day ? What do people do on Flag Day ?
引导学生根据上节课所学内容做出相应的回答。
二.任务呈现与课文导入:
1.出示SB第二单元活动1的图片,引导学生猜测图片所表现的是什么。
(元宵节、春节、中秋节、端午节)。
2.师:我们已经了解了很多西方节日的传统,如Christmas
Day ,Thanksgiving Day ,Halloween ,如果有外国朋友想了解我们中国的传统节日,我们怎样介绍呢?
3.让学生用英语简单介绍关于春节的情况。
如:Spring Festival is Chinese New Year ,we have a big family dinner at Spring Festival . We have peanuts and sweets.
(二)探究新知:
1.将本课的挂图贴在黑板上,播放录音呈现SB第二单元活动1。
让学生对照着书听录音,熟悉故事内容和情节。
Girl1: I love this festival . we all go to see the Dragon Boat race ,We eat zongzi . It’s very delicious .
Boy 1: My mother loves this festival . She makes mooncakes . Her cakes are delicious , my father likes this festival , too . He sings moon songs . His songs are very good .
Girl 2: This is my family . Our favourite festival is the Spring Festival , we have a special family dinner . and we eat jiaozi .
Boy 2: My favourite festival is after spring festival . It’s at night . there are lots of lanterns and there’s a dragon dance .
2.听过第一遍录音后,让学生看书上的图,说出每幅图表现的是什么。
让学生说出对应的中国传统节日的名称。
把Lantern Festival , Spring Festival , Mid-Autumn Festival , Dragon Boat festival 写在黑板上,进行单词教学。
3.放录音,让学生说出该段文字描述的是哪一个节日,向学生讲解语言点。
并让学生跟随录音模仿重复。
4.让学生熟读课文。
(三)巩固新知:
听过第一遍录音后,请学生仔细看书上的图,说出每幅图表现的是什么。
学生应该能够说出对应的中国传统节日名称。
老师把“Lantern Festival,Spring Festival,
Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival”写在黑板上,进行单词教学。
带领学生多重复几遍,并采用多种形式进行操练。
放录音,每段后停顿,请学生说出该段文字讲述的是哪一个节日,然后指向相应的图。
老师可以在这时重复录音中对每种节日的描述,并向学生讲解语言方面的疑难。
再放录音.逐句停顿,让学生重复。
1.重音练习:
老师可以在学习过课文后让学生看着书SB Unit2活动3的录音.体会句子中的语调和重音。
鼓励学生大声模仿跟读。
地道的语音和语调是需要通过这样的不断练习而逐渐形成的。
2. 活动一:
全班分为四个大组。
通过搜集资料每组需用白色卡纸制作一本《中西方节日宣传册》。
主要内容为对比中西方节日的相同点与不同点。
如:春节图片、春节习俗、圣诞节习俗、圣诞节图片
(四)作业布置:
(五)小结:介绍中国主要节日。
比较中西方节日的差异。
交流自己对节日的喜好。
(六)板书设计:

(七)课后反思:在本课学习之前,为了创设一个良好的情景,提高孩子们的积极性,我采用了图片复习一些学过的单词,从而引出新单词dragon boat, festival, moon cake ……来进行课文导入。
整个活动的环节趣味简单,深得学生喜爱,同时我通过各种各样的任务和多样方法来吸引孩子们的注意力,由于整个过程我采用小组合作的方式在进行全班分为四个大组。
通过搜集资料每组需用白色卡纸制作一本《中西方节日宣传册》。
主要内容为对比中西方节日的相同点与不同点。
如:春节图片、春节习俗、圣诞节习俗、圣诞节图片,所以学生也非常的积极,让孩子们在玩中学,学中玩。
从单词到句型的过渡也是十分自然的,由于前面的句型和单词操练到位,因此,后面的课文环节,孩子们大多数能够使用者2个句型进行对话,完成了这篇课文的教学目的。
但是美中不足的是,由于时间的关系,学生上台表演这个环节,只展示了一个小组。
由于整堂课时间没有控制好,没有全部兼顾到所有的学生,成为了我这堂课最大的遗憾。
如果让我重新上这
节课,我会在操练句型对话的环节上多下功夫,兼顾到全班的学生。
