The content of the passage is mainly about the abroad student Lisa’s experience of taking part of the calligraphy. The passage gives us the description of how to join the club,how to do calligraphy and what can we benefit from study learning calligraphy. The passage is mainly in the past tense,it’s a consolidation for our grammar part of this unit. The passage is also a supplement to our main text book.

学情分析
学生对于学校社团并不陌生，因为在他们的学校课外生活中就有参加社团活动这一部分。通过本单元各部分的学习，学生掌握了一定的单元话题相关词汇、句式以及关于一般过去时的一些用法，会在模仿范文的基础上简单描述社团的活动经历。单元每个板块的学习既相互联系，又因为不同的能力培养要求而彼此独立。在前阶段的复习中发现，学生对单元整体知识的梳理能力较为薄弱，单元学习结束一段时间后，高频词汇、句型在句子语境中的理解和运用仍需加强，相关话题的阅读量需要得到拓展和阅读能力的提高，一般现在时的时态运用在单元话题的说和写方面还需要进一步的强化训练。
