这类题型要求学生要有很好的阅读理解和归纳总结的能力。
应用文型的任务阅读它往往与生活实际挂钩，涉及天气预报、电视节目、预定购各类物品，海报广告、电话记录等生活实例和有关日常生活话题的简短文字材料等。

在明白题意和文意的基础上，仔细阅读后面的题目要求，根据实际情况去完成所要求的任务。
（二）、任务型阅读题目考查内型1、信息查找，直取答案。
信息查找一般可以直接通过表格和短文进行对照，边读文章边找出与试题相关的句子信息，获取到相关单词，有时试题和原文句型句式不同，需进行简单的逻辑推理然后找到相应单词，不需变化，直接填入。
信息查找这种方法解题技巧的关键就是根据问题句子查找定位信息，常用方法是带着问题有意识地在关键处做标记。
2、信息转换，提炼新词。
信息转换类型，需要学生有基本的构词法知识，明确句子中成分和词性的对应关系。
学生可以仔细分析提示句（空格所在句子），判断所填词的词性、词形，提高填词的准确性。
有时甚至可以不看文章，直接根据短语搭配填出答案。
信息转换类型的解题关键是根据问题查找定位信息，加工分析并转换成另一种表达方式。
在中考英语的任务型阅读中，信息的转换一般有几种情况：词性、词形、句式、释义。
其中，词形转换较为困难，主要包含以下几个方面：（1）近义词和反义词转换；（2）名词单数和复数转换；（3）动词的形式（大小写、时态等）转换；（4）形容词、副词的比较级和最高级转换；（5）基数词和序数词的转换。
3、信息概括，推理总结任务型阅读还考查学生对文章的主题、中心思想、结构层次等方面信息概括的能力，该类型要求学生在准确理解全文后，归纳短文要点、概括中心思想，分析段落大意、重要情节和人物特征特点等。
这一类型的题目在整个任务型阅读中属于难度较大的题目。
在做这一类型的题目时需注意：（1）把握文章的内在逻辑关系，以文章提供的事实和观点为依据，立足原文，推断未知。
不能主观臆造，随意揣测，更不能以自己的观点代替作者的观点。
（2）在理解全文的基础上，吃透文章的字面意思，从字里行间捕捉一些线索，对文章的表面意思进行挖掘加工，悟出作者的深层含义或弦外之音。
这个技巧的解题关键：根据问题查找定位信息，找共性的东西。
通过近几年的中考英语任务型阅读，发现归纳词主要以概括为主。
常见的概括性的词有：话题topic，subject / title；原因reason （s），cause（s）；结果result，effect；目的aim，purpose；方法way（s），solution （s）；观点idea（s）/ opinion（s）/thoughts；优劣advantages，disadvantages；结论conclusion；建议advice，suggestion（s）。
（三）、任务型阅读理解题步骤和技巧1、认真审题，读懂题意。
由于题目要求形式多样，在同一篇阅读材料中会要求完成不同的任务，因此解题前要先明确任务，做到心中有数。
2、快速阅读，掌握大意。
在做题时要快速扫视一下文章的大意，然后结合前面的题目的要求，大致明白所要完成的任务。
3、细读题目，完成任务。
在明白题意和文章意思的基础上，仔细阅读后面的题目要求，在原文中找出问题题干所包括的信息部分，这样就可以快速准确地抓住有效信息，确保答题的准确性。
如果是根据英文释义写单词的题，则一定要确保所填的单词来源于原文，切不可脱离原文，随意发挥。
4、复读文章，核实任务。
在初步完成所要求的任务以后，学生必须再仔细阅读所提供的短文，结合题意、文章和文后提供的任务信息、认真核实任务以保证答题正确。
5、注意读写结合。
任务型阅读不仅考查学生阅读理解层面的能力，更加注重考查学生“写”的能力。
若是写单词，则要注意拼写正确，词形、词性有无变化，是否需要大写；若所要完成的是短语或句子成分，则需谨慎对待，依据所给题干分析要完成的是什么句子成分，需用什么样的表达方式，不可简单草率地将文中信息直接挪用。
(四)常见阅读理解的答题方法1、先看文章，再看文后问题。
这种方法适合于较短的阅读短文，答题时一般可采用以下步骤：先快速浏览全文，大致了解文章大意和中心思想，然后再看后面的几道小题，把问题及其选项略读一遍，了解其内容以及在文章中的出处，最后带着问题进行细读，特别注意与问题有关的词和句子。
2、先看问题，再看文章。
这种方法适合于较长的阅读短文，答题时可以采用以下步骤：首先看几个问题和选项，从中将细节题和中心思想分开。
第二步是带着这些细节题到原文中快速找到有关的词和句子，然后作出判断。
最后再通过全文阅读把握文章中心，完成中心思想题。
用这种方法，阅读直接性强，可减少无关信息的阅读时间，但缺点是不能顾及全局，不能借助中心内容的把握判断选项的对错。
另外，孤立看问题容易忘记，往往看文章后还要看试题，这种做法对记忆力的要求较高。
