【学习目标】
1. 知识目标:学习重要的词汇及句型:tour, square, painting, from, metre, river, bridge, railway, church,famous ,middle, clear, finish,Take boat back… Get off the boat at…。

(1) 能通过本节课的学习能够用语言或用文字给别人指路。

(2) 能够根据地图讲清路线,描述出某个地方的位置。

3. 情感目标:乐于参加运用英语的时间活动,乐于助人。

1. 重点:能够根据地图讲清路线,描述出某个地方的位置。

2. 难点:能将语言学习与实际应用结合起来,学会看地图,使用地图。

【学习过程】
Stage1. Pre-listening
Show the pictures that I took in England in 2006.Introduce these places and help them to know them.
Stage 2.While-reading
Step1.
(1)Show the map and listen to the tape. Tell the students that passage will give them the route for a tour of London.
(2)Read the passage and follow the tour on the map. Have them read the passage quickly first t see where the tour starts and finishes.
(3)Listen again and look for key information about the directions as they read. Check if the students can have the correct route.
(4)Listen again and try to understand the passage. Pay attention to the writing style.And answer the questions.
Step 2.
T: Imitate the passage, pay attention to the intonation and pronunciation.
