一、课程性质与定位(一)、课程性质《经贸英语阅读教程》是为310英语专业的学生开设的一门英语课程。
本课程的教学目的是培养学生掌握阅读和理解商务英语文章的基本技能,掌握一些国际经济文章中常用词汇,懂得一般的商务表达,熟悉主要的商务英语文章类型,为进一步学习后续的商务英语课程,毕业后成为适应社会需要的应用型涉外商务工作者打下坚实的基础。
(二)、课程定位本课程为310英语专业学生在第四学期学习的职业拓展模块课程,属于B 类。
二、课程教学目标与任务(一)、课程教学目标培养学生的英语阅读理解能力和提高学生的阅读速度;培养学生细致观察语言的能力以及假设判断、分析、归纳推理检验等逻辑思维能力;并通过阅读训练帮助学生扩大阅读量,吸收语言和文化背景知识。
(二)、课程教学任务通过学习有关的商务活动的实用语言材料,学生应熟悉主要的商务英语文章类型,提高阅读商务文章的能力。
通过学习,学生应进一步提高基本的听、说、读、写、译的能力。

二.课程的性质、目的和任务
1.课程的性质:
《经贸贸英语》是国际经济贸易学生的专业必修课,也是其他相关专业的选修课。
2.课程的目的和任务:
通过本课程的学习,旨在使学生具有一定的英语和有关经济贸易理论和实务知识的基础上,复习、巩固以及进一步扩大英语词汇量,熟悉基本的英语口语语言功能和经常遇到的一般话题表达,强化英语阅读,听说能力,提高英语口语水平;使学生能初步掌握外贸英语听、说、读的基本技能,能用英语进行外事接待,例如机场接人、日程安排、宴会活动等;能运用英语从事对外经济贸易中的一些业务环节,例如询盘、报盘与还盘,价格与折扣,付款方式与信用证等。
三.课程内容的基本要求、重点和难点
1、课程基本要求
[1] 了解英语口语的重要性与应用性;英语发音的音标构成;一词多意现象等内容。
[2] 理解并掌握听力环节有预定机票,机场接送,酒店入住,日程讨论,致欢迎词,业务电话联系,预约见面以及餐馆会面8个场景;要掌握的是口语教学中外事接待的环节,主要有业务接待与安排,商务餐会,访问活动,日常谈论4个;外贸业务环节有询盘、报盘和还盘,佣金和折扣,签订合同与订单,谈论支付条件并用信用证来支付等内容,特别是信用证申请开立的对话表达。
2、课程的重点与难点
课程的重点:上述的8个口语教学场景和8个听力场景。
课程的难点:英语的听、读、说的有机结合,提高英语语言的实际应用和表达能力。
先修课程:本课程可以培养和提高学生以英语从事国际商事活动的操作能力。
由于与其他相关课程具有一定的联系,所以安排在高年级学习,专科安排在大二,本科安排在大三。
其先修课程是《大学英语》和《国际贸易理论与实务》。
四.课程总体安排及各部分的学时分配
1、学时总体安排
理论教学48学时,商务英语听力32学时。
3、教学法的新颖之处
本课程采用模拟场景教学法,介绍各种不同场合和背景下对外经贸业务活动和生活接待中常用的对话内容和口语词句,对国际商事经贸业务的主要环节和不同外贸业务联系情况都有所介绍,在外贸英语听力方面,增加了很多实用的情节和场景。
五.课程教学内容和教学基本要求
第一部分:听力教学环节(《国际商务英语口语》Unit 1-8)(32学时)基本内容:本部分是听力教学环节,选用的教材是《国际商务英语口语》的第一至八单元,内容主要有预定机票,机场接送,酒店入住,与客户讨论日程,东道主致欢迎词与客户致词,业务电话联系,预约见面以及餐馆会面8个场景。
教学重点:预定机票,机场接送,酒店入住,与客户讨论日程,东道主致欢迎词与客户致词,业务电话联系,预约见面以及餐馆会面。
教学难点:预定机票,机场接送,酒店入住,讨论日程,致词,业务电话联系,预约见面等。
基本要求:由于听是说的前奏,是说的基础,必须牢固掌握预定机票,机场接送,酒店入住,与客户讨论日程,东道主致欢迎词与客户致词,业务电话联系,预约见面以及餐馆会面等场景的全部内容。
第二部分:口语教学的外事接待环节(《实用外贸英语会话》Chapter 1-4)(24学时)
基本内容:本部分是口语教学环节,选用的教材是《实用外贸英语会话》的第一至四单元,内容主要有一,业务接待与安排,包括对航空公司订票、售票的会话;欢迎客人,为客人提供帮助;安排会面,取消预约;拟定客户日程安排表;二,举办商务餐会,包括宴会活动的事前准备,邀请客人,宴会演讲,招待客人;三,进行访问参观活动,包括风景观赏,例如给客人介绍观光事宜,描述将要观光的地点,谈论风景等;参观工厂,例如事前邀请,带领参观,谈论工厂等;四,和与客户日常谈论,改善人际关系等,这里商事活动的范围广泛,包括电话交流;谈论天气、电影、唱歌与跳舞,以及描述各种体育运动;带领客人购物等方面。
教学重点:业务接待与安排,举办商务餐会,进行访问活动和与客户日常谈论,改善人际关系4个方面。
教学难点:业务接待安排,商务餐会,访问和日常谈论,改善人际关系等。
基本要求:本部分的口语教学与上述的听力教学相辅相成,互为补充,都是与外商交流的基础听、说内容,必须牢固掌握全部环节,具体是业务接待与安排,举办商务餐会,进行访问活动和与客户日常谈论,改善人际关系等多方面内容。
第三部分:口语教学的外贸业务环节(《实用外贸英语会话》Chapter 5-8)(24学时)
基本内容:本部分也是口语教学环节,选用的教材是《实用外贸英语会话》的第五至八单元,内容主要有一,询盘、报盘和还盘,包括询盘、报盘和还盘的基本知识,如何发起询盘,如何报实盘和虚盘,如何还盘的对话;二,佣金和折扣,佣金是贸易商接受有关生产厂商的委托,进行代理进出口业务或者为厂商提供销售商品的服务,在完成交易后由卖方或者买方付给的一种报酬。
折扣是卖方在交易中给予商业经纪人、中间商、代理商的价格折让。
在国际贸易中,商务佣金和折扣是普遍的现象,也是贸易业务的基本对话内容;三,签订合同与订单,合同是一份具有法律效力的协议书。
在进出口贸易中普遍采用的合同一般是正式文字合同,也可以是购货订单或销售确认书。
订单在贸易上意味着以前的各种准备活动皆已完成,即将进入下一个阶段,即交货阶段。
学生会在这里学习关于此类的常用对话;四,谈论支付条件并用信用证来支付,付款条件是国际贸易中的主要交易条件,经双方协商达成协议后,在交易合同中作出具体规定。
付款条件包括使用的货币、付款金额、时间、地点和支付方式等。
信用证是银行根据进口方的要求向出口方开具的一种凭证。
授权出口人按信用证规定的条款,开立以开证行或其他代理行为付款人的汇票,并保证该汇票及有关单据在与信用证条款相符的条件下得到付款。
教学重点:外贸业务的各个环节都要认真掌握,他们是询盘、报盘和还盘,佣金和折扣,签订合同与订单,谈论支付条件并用信用证来支付等内容等。
教学难点:询盘、报盘和还盘,佣金和折扣,合同与订单,支付条件和信用证等。
基本要求:本部分是前面学习的外事接待环节的延伸与深化,由于学生平时并不能接触到这些业务环境,教师需要很好的营造语境氛围以帮助学生的学习。
学生要掌握询盘、报盘和还盘业务,谈论佣金和折扣业务,签订合同与执行订单,谈论支付条件并用信用证来支付等内容。
六.课程考核办法
本课程的考核成绩由平时成绩和期末考试两部分组成,按百分制计。
其中:
1、平时成绩:依据书面翻译作业、课堂分组会话、课堂朗读及抽查出勤情况打分,比例占30%;
2、期末考试是笔试与口试结合考察:笔试采用闭卷考试,而口试由学生抽英语口语试题的签,试前准备,在考场统一考察的方式测试其应用水平,占70% 。

1、本大纲根据我院“培养应用型人才”的目标,由编写人根据国际经济与贸易专业实践需要、实际教学总结的要求编写。
其间与经济系国际经济与贸易教研室教授相关课程老师进行多次讨论后定稿。
2、先听后说。
建议将学生分成若干小组,每组2-3人来练习会话和回答老师提问。
在教师指导下尽量多做各项口语练习,以培养学生英语口语学习的积极性。
学生应是积极主动的参与者,教师只是起引导作用。
3、教师应最大限度地为学生提供实践语言的机会,加大学生的口头实践量。
在机械训练过程中,应严格要求语言的准确流畅。
在交际和灵活运用阶段应更多地鼓励学生积极思维,交流看法。
鉴于我院学生的实际,多鼓励,少批评,对学生语言错误的纠正应置于第二位,抑制学生的厌学情绪。
