不过他目前暂时歇业了，因为今年7月他跑去上大学了，入读了哥本哈根商学院 Copenhagen Business School，读的专业是工商管理与服务管理 Business Administration and Service Management#2 他的母后是中国人尼科莱王子的妈妈是中国人，出生于中国香港。
她就是1995年曾经轰动一时的那位“华人王妃”文雅丽 Alexandra Manley其实说她是“母后”不准确，她并不是王后，而是王妃，因为他的老公也只是王子，并不是国王。
丹麦现任的君主是尼科莱的奶奶——玛格丽特二世 Margrethe II她是中国改革开放后首位访华的西方国家元首，被称为“中国人民的老朋友”，后来在2014年再次访华，打破了丹麦君主一生中只访问一个国家一次的惯例。
