Hi, everybody. Today I also want to introduce an interesting festival which called Middle-summer Festival to all of you. Midsummer Festival is a traditional festival of the Nordic countries. It will be held in June 24th every year. On the origins of Midsummer Festival, a beautiful legend: a goddess myth of Greece and Rome, named Seles. She put the seed to the world, and blessed land of rich natural resources: trees, flowers, grain and so on. In order to thank the goddess, people sacrificed devoutly pray for her every year to bring the harvest. This story reflects the lives of the people’s best wishes. Midsummer Festival has become a wish cereal harvest festival, which attracted broad masses of the people. Now, during the midsummer festival, dressed in national costumes of each joyous, people flooded went to the central square, participate in the festival procession. A beautiful girl dressed as a "goddess of grain," yellow garland, wearing the costume, dressed in colorful shawls. Procession in the "goddess of grain", led by the mighty walking forward. When the "goddess of grain" come soon begins harvesting the wheat harvest, the music is that the cheers everywhere. People put the "goddess of grain," surrounded, the walls.
