But if only the government take the action to realize the Green Olympics in XX, its not enough. As a Beijing high school student, we should play an active role in the actions aimed at the realization of Green Olympics. So we should start it from ourselves, our family, our friends and other people around us.In XX, in the Moscow world trade center, when the former chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Samaranch had said: "Beijing, China!" As a Beijing citizen, as a Chinese, I had a great joy for my city,for my home country from the bottom of my heart! But after the excitement that Beijing had been succeed in the race to host the Olympic Game in XX. This shows we are really short of water now! After reading this news, I start to change my habit, and only take one quick shower each day. I have calculated that if everyone economizes one cubic meter of water during they are taking the shower in a month; the Beijing citizens will economize 14 million cubic meter of water in only one month! In XX, as the Beijing Irrigation Apartment reported that since XX Beijing has succeeded in the application of hosting the Olympic game in XX. Beijing government had started 26 programs in order to economize the water resource. After 3 years doing this, these programs have saved billions cubic meter of water. Its as big as a four-sized Huairou reservoir! And now, in my daily life, in my family, we always think about protecting the environment and saving the resource whenever we doing what. 随着第29届奥运会的临近，我们北京的每一个市民都像是绿色奥运使者一样，越来越热爱我们的北京，越来越关心周围的环境。
我们因自己是北京人，可以向每一个外国友人展示北京的风采而感到骄傲。
而这样一次又一次的感动中，我看到草地更绿了，蓝天清澈了，一棵棵的小树苗在温柔的微风中茁壮成长。
这是我的家，这是美丽的北京，这里寄托这绿色的奥运希望。
回想几年以前，我第一次在社区的路旁看到分类垃圾箱的时候，绿色奥运在我的大脑中还没有任何概念，只是觉得这样把垃圾分类是很新鲜的事。
但是当我在不久后的班会上把手高高的举起来希望自己也可以加入"共青团EPD社团"的时候，心里已经坚信，"用自己的力量为20**年的北京做出贡献，这真是太伟大"了。
也许这就是我和绿色奥运行动最开始的结缘吧。
在随后的几个月中，校团委带领包括我们支部在内的20余名同学一起到学校周边的路旁捡拾白色垃圾，这对于我们来说是一次意义重大的活动。
我们还在学校门口设立了回收旧电池的垃圾筒，来尽可能减少环境的污染并同时节约资源。
当看到一袋袋白色垃圾和旧电池被搬到送往回收站的卡车上时，我们忘记了之前的一切辛苦，因为汗水换来了快乐，和，付出的喜悦。
绿色北京的实现需要我们每一个人去努力，"绿色奥运，有我一个"，多么骄傲的一句话啊。
同时，环境保护的行动在我家也在进行着。
爸爸把家里所有的水龙头都换成了节水型的水龙头，而且所有的生活用水都至少被循环了两到三次。
我经常会在中国国际广播电台听到这样的一则公益广告："每年因缺水而死亡的儿童有500万之多"，身为同样生活在地球上的人类，我想我的行动虽然是微不足道的，但是如果大家都投身于节约用水和绿色环保的行动中来，那么我们的力量将是不可估量的。
绿色为奥运会的举办赋予了更深广的含义，绿色是花，是草，是树；绿色是天，是地，是阳光；可是在我心里，绿色更是心，是笑，是爱。
在社区举办的每一次植树活动中，每个植树者都会自己制作一个小牌子并写上自己对未来的希望，在和爸爸妈妈一个上午的努力过后，我在牌子上写到：
"成长快乐！"
成长快乐！每一棵为了让我们环境更美丽的小树！
成长快乐！正在飞速变化着的绿色北京！
成长快乐！绿色奥运在市民心中的芽！他终将在3年后结出美丽的果实！北京市第九中学：
