1、What can you tell me about yourself?(关于你自己，你能告诉我些什么?)

my name is XXX. It is really a great honor to have this opportunity for a interview, i would like to answer whatever you may raise, and i hope i can make a good performance today. Now i will introduce myself briefly, i am 26 years old, born in XXX, southern of XXX, and i am graduate student at XXX. my major is XXX. and i will receive my master's degree after my graduation in July, 2016. in the past 3 years, i spend most of my time on study. i have published four academic papers and one patent /'pæt(ə)nt/. besides, i have taken a tour to some big factory and company. and i have acquired /ə'kwaɪəd/ basic knowledge of vehicle both in theory and in practice. I love sports, my favorite sport is badminton. Thank you!

2、What would you like to be doing five years after graduation?(在毕业以后5年内你想做些什么?)

如果我能就读华南理工大学的博士学位，那么我的主要精力就是用于科研学习当中。首先根据导师的项目需求，通过检索大量文献，寻找值得深入研究的方向，然后制定科研学习计划，脚踏实地地完成每项工作，争取在毕业时取得较好的科研成果。

If I can study at South China University of Technology, my main focus is on research and study. First, according to the project needs of the tutor, i will look for the study direction of the project by searching a large number of documents. Then i will make a scientific research program to try my best to finish any work, and strive /straiv/ to achieve good results in graduation.

3.What is your greatest strength?(你最突出的优点是什么?)

我认为我最大的优点是能够执着地尽力把事情办好。当做完一件工作而其成果又正合我的预想时，我会有一种真正的成就感。

I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job and it turns out just as i’d planned.

4.What is your greatest weakness?(你最大的弱点是什么?)

我认为我最大的弱点是英语听力能力。虽然我经常会在晚上练习，但是依然没有很大的提高。

I think my biggest weakness is English listening ability. Although I often practice in the evening, but still do not greatly improve.

5.How do you feel about your progress to date?"(对于你至今所取得的进步你是怎样看的?)

我对于我至今取得的进步，我感到很欣慰，因为这些科研学习的进步，让我更加相信一句话：有志者，事竟成。

I am pleased with the progress I have made so far. Because of the progress of these research and study, let me more believe a word:“where there is a will, there is a way.”

6.Why did you choose South China University of Technology?(为什么选择华南理工大学？)

我选择华南理工大学有三个原因：第一，这里的老师都有较深厚的专业学术水平；第二，这里的专业建设水平较高，尤其是车辆工程专业，在全国都是位列前几；第三，在相同专业水平的学校中，华南理工大学离家较近，将来有打算在广州工作的计划。

I chose the South China University of technology has three reasons: first, the teacher has a profound academic standards; second, there is a high level of professional construction, especially the vehicle engineering is ranked in the first few in the country; third, in the same professional level of the school, South China University of Technology is closer to home, so i plan to work in Guangzhou in the future.

7.Why did you choose a PhD in vehicle engineering?(你为什么选择车辆工程专业的博士？)
