教学过程Step 1. Warming up1.Greeting: Good morning/afternoon, class.2.Ask some general and review questions about the previous English lessons, such as:•What did we learn about colors?•What did we learn about food and drinks?•What did we learn about clothes?Step 2. Presentation1.Show students some pictures of people who may feel sick, such as someone with a headache or stomachache.2.Ask students, What’s the matter? to elicit the target language.3.Teach the students the new words and phrases: matter, toothache, headache, stomachache, cold, sore throat, fever, cough.
