With her constant encouragement and guidance, I have finished my paper. Now, it is the show time. I will present my efforts to you and welcome any correction. The title of my paper is On Transformation of Parts of Speech in Translation.Ichoose this as my topic due to the following reasons. Different languages have different standards to distinguish parts of speech. Each language has its own special structure. And there are no equivalent parts of speech between different languages. In order to make the target version more idiomatic and standard, the transformation of parts of speech is always used by translators. So the transformation of parts of speech is playing a more important role in English to Chinese based on different characteristics of English and Chinese. For the above facts, I select the subject of“On Transformation of parts of speech”as the title of my paper.Ihope by studying this topic we can know the importance of the transformation of parts of speech in English to Chinese translation. Through transformation, we can get the better version and improve the translation skills. The way of thinking and expressing is quite different between Chinese and English. English is a kind of static languages which tends to use more nouns. While Chinese is a dynamic one in which verbs are often used.So when we make translation in English to Chinese, we should know this point and shift the parts of speech.Next, it is an outline of my paper. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts.Part one presents an introduction to the basic concepts of parts of speech and transformation.Part two discusses the definition of translation and emphasizes the importance of transformation of parts of speech in the course of translation.Part three gives four basic ways of transformation of parts of speech through illustrative examples. There are transformed English words into Chinese verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs.Part four presents some problems about transformation and gives some advise to solve the problems.Part five draws some conclusions that transformation between parts of speech is necessary for us to achieve good translation. It is demonstrated that we can have a good master of transformation and improve the translation. In addition, we must continuously study and explore in all kinds of translation practices. OK! That is all. Thank you! Please ask questions。

经典的英文演讲稿(精选5篇)经典的英文篇1my definition of successtoday i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. what is success? it is what everyone is longing for.sometimes success would be rather simple. winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now i amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success.however, as a person’s whole life is concerned, su ccess becomes verycomplicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.nowadays, in the modern society there are many peoplewho are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization ofp eople’ hopes and ideals.different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to comeby, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.what is success? everyone has his own interpretation as i do. but i am sureevery success leads to an ever-brighter future. so ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make asuccessful life!i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-oevident, that all men are created equal. i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. i have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. i have a dream today! when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and hamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god’s children-black men and white men , jews and gentiles, catholics and protestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old negro spiritual, “free at least ,free at last . thank god almighty, we are free at last.”经典的英文演讲稿篇21.An aim in life is the only fortune worth finding.生活的目标,是唯一值得寻找的财富。

英文演讲稿优秀10篇英文演讲稿篇一Good morning dear teachers and my fellow students. After one week of examinations, finally we can take a deep breath for celebrating the nice finale of term 1 as well as the brand new beginning of term 2. Now, we should take some time reviewing what we did well on term 1 performance and what improvements we can work on in the next term. For us, the grade 12 students, we should be prepared for the university affair which is coming in 2 weeks from now; therefore we have not only to study hard for the academic courses but also to prepare the information for the university affair. Then time management is crucial for grade 12 students in order to get everything done. At the same time, all students should also get involved in the various extracurricular since versatility plays important role when we want to succeed. Last summer, there were 5 grade 12 students who joined a fantastic activity held by Harvard University in Shanghai. We had spent a long time to fill in their application forms, and then finally be enrolled in the great event. We had surely learned a lot when we worked with other people to solve problems. Most importantly, we had experienced that things are not as easy to work on as their appearances. We learned how to work coorpertively, and think creatively, and all these factors are the skills for thriving in the future tasks. As a result, we want to tell you that in this way of learning,?we can become more practical and sophisticated in future tasks. We advocate that we students should actively participate in out class activities. All in all, we should all aim for the best in all areas of study, and then we will succeed. All grade 12 students?英文的演讲稿篇二The president:Hello, everybody! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, everybody. All right, everybody go ahead and have a seat. How is everybody doing today? (applause.) How about tim spicer? (applause.) I am here with students at wakefield high school in arlington, virginia. And weve got students tuning in from all across america, from kindergarten through 12th grade. And i am just so glad that all could join us today. And i want to thank wakefield for being such an outstanding host. Give yourselves a big round of applause. (applause.)I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, its your first day in a new school, so its understandable if youre a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now -- (applause) -- with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade youre in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer and you couldve stayed in bed just a little bit longer this morning.I know that feeling. When i was young, my family lived overseas.I lived in indonesia for a few years. And my mother, she didnt have the money to send me where all the american kids went to school, but she thought it was important for me to keep up with an american education. So she decided to teach me extra lessons herself, monday through friday. But because she had to go to work, the only time she could do it was at 4:30 in the morning. Now, as you might imagine, i wasnt too happy about getting upthat early. And a lot of times, id fall asleep right there at thekitchen table. But whenever id complain, my mother would just give me one of those looks and shed say, "this is no picnic for me either, buster." (laughter.)So i know that some of you are still adjusting to being back at school. But im here today because i have something important to discuss with you. Im here because i want to talk with you about your education and whats expected of all of you in this new school year. Now, ive given a lot of speeches about education. And ive talked about responsibility a lot.Ive talked about teachers responsibility for inspiring students and pushing you to learn.Ive talked about your parents responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and you get your homework done, and dont spend every waking hour in front of the tv or with the xbox.Ive talked a lot about your governments responsibility forsetting high standards, and supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that arent working, where students arent getting the opportunities that they deserve. But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, the best schools in the world -- and none of it will make a difference, none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities, unless you show up to those schools, unless you pay attention to those teachers, unless you listen to your parents and grandparents and other adults and put in the hard work it takes to succeed. Thats what i want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education.I want to start with the responsibility you have to yourself. Every single one of you has something that youre good at. Everysingle one of you has something to offer. And you have aresponsibility to yourself to discover what that is. Thats the opportunity an education can provide.Maybe you could be a great writer -- maybe even good enough to write a book or articles in a newspaper -- but you might not know it until you write that english paper -- that english class paper thats assigned to you. Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor -- maybe even good enough to come up with the next iphone or the new medicine or vaccine -- but you might not know it until you do your project for your science class. Maybe you could be a mayor or a senator or a supreme court justice -- but you might not know that until you join student government or the debate team. And no matter what you want to do with your life, i guaranteethat youll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, or a teacher, or a police officer? you want to be a nurse or an architect, a lawyer or a member of our military? youre going to need a good education for every single one of those careers. You cannot drop out of school and just drop into a good job. Youve got to train for it and work for it and learn for it.And this isnt just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. The future of america depends on you. What youre learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.Youll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learn in science and math to cure diseases like cancer and aids, and to develop new energy technologies and protect our environment. Youll need the insights and critical-thinking skills you gain in historyand social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free. Youll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy. We need every single one of you to develop your talents and your skills and your intellect so you can help us old folks solve our most difficult problems. If you dont do that -- if you quit on school -- youre not just quitting on yourself, youre quitting on your country. Now, i know its not always easy to do well in school. I know alot of you have challenges in your lives right now that can make it hard to focus on your schoolwork.I get it. I know what its like. My father left my family when i was two years old, and i was raised by a single mom who had to work and who struggled at times to pay the bills and wasnt always able to give us the things that other kids had. There were times when i missed having a father in my life. There were times when i was lonely and i felt like i didnt fit in.So i wasnt always as focused as i should have been on school, and i did some things im not proud of, and i got in more trouble than i should have. And my life could have easily taken a turn for the worse. But i was -- i was lucky. I got a lot of second chances, and i had the opportunity to go to college and law school and follow my dreams. My wife, our first lady michelle obama, she has a similar story. Neither of her parents had gone to college, and they didnt have a lot of money. But they worked hard, and she worked hard, so that she could go to the best schools in this country. Some of you might not have those advantages. Maybe you dont haveadults in your life who give you the support that you need. Maybe someone in your family has lost their job and theres not enough money to go around. Maybe you live in a neighborhood where you dont feel safe, or have friends who are pressuring you to do things you know arent right. But at the end of the day, the circumstances of your life -- what you look like, where you come from, how much money you have, what youve got going on at home -- none of that is an excuse for neglecting your homework or having a bad attitude in school. Thats no excuse for talking back to your teacher, or cutting class, or dropping out of school. There is no excuse for not trying.Where you are right now doesnt have to determine where youll end up. No ones written your destiny for you, because here in america, you write your own destiny. You make your own future.Thats what young people like you are doing every day, all across america.Young people like jazmin perez, from roma, texas. Jazmin didnt speak english when she first started school. Neither of her parents had gone to college. But she worked hard, earned good grades, and got a scholarship to brown university -- is now in graduate school, studying public health, on her way to becoming dr. Jazmin perez.Im thinking about andoni schultz, from los altos, california, whos fought brain cancer since he was three. Hes had to endure all sorts of treatments and surgeries, one of which affected his memory, so it took him much longer -- hundreds of extra hours -- to do his schoolwork. But he never fell behind. Hes headed to college this fall. And then theres shantell steve, from my hometown of chicago, illinois. Even when bouncing from foster home to foster home in the toughest neighborhoods in the city, she managed to get a job at a local health care center, start a program to keep young people out of gangs, and shes on track to graduate high school with honors and go on to college. And jazmin, andoni, and shantell arent any different from any of you. They face challenges in their lives just like you do. In some cases theyve got it a lot worse off than many of you. But they refused to give up. They chose to take responsibility for their lives, for their education, and set goals for themselves. And i expect all of you to do the same.Thats why today im calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education -- and do everything you can to meet them. Your goal can be something as simple as doing all your homework, paying attention in class, or spending some time each day reading a book. Maybe youll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community. Maybe youll decide to stand up for kids who are being teased or bullied because of who they are or how they look, because you believe, like i do, that all young people deserve a safe environment to study and learn. Maybe youll decide to takebetter care of yourself so you can be more ready to learn. And along those lines, by the way, i hope all of you are washing your hands a lot, and that you stay home from school when you dont feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter. But whatever you resolve to do, i want you to commit to it. I want you to really work at it.I know that sometimes you get that sense from tv that you can be rich and successful without any hard work -- that your ticket tosuccess is through rapping or basketball or being a reality tv star. chances are youre not going to be any of those things. The truth is, being successful is hard. You wont love every subject that you study. You wont click with every teacher that you have. Not every homework assignment will seem completely relevant to your life right at this minute. And you wont necessarily succeed at everything the first time you try.Thats okay. Some of the most successful people in the world are the ones whove had the most failures. J.k. rowlings -- who wrote harry potter -- her first harry potter book was rejected 12 times before it was finally published. Michael jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. He lost hundreds of games and missed thousands of shots during his career. But he once said, "i havefailed over and over and over again in my life. And thats why i succeed."These people succeeded because they understood that you cant let your failures define you -- you have to let your failures teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently the next time. So if you get into trouble, that doesnt mean youre a troublemaker, it means you need to try harder to act right. If you get a bad grade, that doesnt mean youre stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying. No ones born being good at all things. You become good at things through hard work. Youre not a varsity athlete the first time you play a new sport. You dont hit every note the first time you sing a song. Youve got to practice. The same principle applies to your schoolwork. You might have to do a math problem a few times before you get it right. You might have to read something a few times beforeyou understand it. You definitely have to do a few drafts of a paper before its good enough to hand in.Dont be afraid to ask questions. Dont be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isnt a sign of weakness, its a sign of strength because it shows you have the courage to admit when you dont know something, and that then allows you to learn something new. So find an adult that you trust -- a parent, a grandparent or teacher, a coach or a counselor -- and ask them to help you stay on track to meet your goals. And even when youre struggling, even when youre discouraged, and you feel like other people have given up on you, dont ever give up on yourself, because when you give up on yourself, you give up on your country. The story of america isnt about people who quit when things got tough. Its about people who kept going, who tried harder, who loved their country too much to do anything less than their best. Its the story of students who sat where you sit 250 years ago, and went on to wage a revolution and they founded this nation. Young people. Students who sat where you sit 75 years ago who overcame a depression and won a world war; who fought for civil rights and put a man on the moon. Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago who founded google and twitter and facebook and changed the way we communicate with each other. So today, i want to ask all of you, whats your contribution going to be? what problems are you going to solve? what discoveries will you make? what will a president who comes here in 20 or 50 or 100 years say about what all of you did for this country? Now, your families, your teachers, and i are doing everything wecan to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. Im working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books and the equipment and the computers you need to learn. But youve got to do your part, too. So i expect all of you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So dont let us down. Dont let your family down or your country down. Most of all, dont let yourself down. Make us all proud.Thank you very much, everybody. God bless you. God bless america. Thank you.最新英文演讲稿篇三Leading members and judges, young friends: Hello, everybody! My name is 某某, and we are pleased to be able to discuss the pursuit of excellence, dedication youth, this topic, I am going to talk about today is "willing to sacrifice, the fire ignited youth." Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and address the topic of "The Impact of Technological Advancements on Education: A New Era of Learning." As we navigate through the 21st century, the integration of technology in various aspects of our lives has become increasingly evident. In this speech, I will discuss how technological advancements have transformed the field of education and the opportunities they present for both learners and educators.Firstly, let us consider the evolution of educational tools. In the past, the primary tools for learning were books, chalkboards, and pens. However, with the advent of technology, these tools have been revolutionized. Today, students and teachers have access to a vast array of digital resources, such as e-books, online databases, and interactive learning platforms. These tools not only enhance the learning experience but also cater to diverse learning styles, making education moreinclusive and accessible. One of the most significant impacts of technology on education is therise of online learning. E-learning platforms have enabled students to acquire knowledge and skills from the comfort of their homes. This flexibility has allowed individuals from different geographical locations, including remote and underprivileged areas, to access quality education. Moreover, online courses and webinars have provided opportunities for continuous professional development for teachers, ensuring that they remain up-to-date with the latest pedagogical practices.Furthermore, technology has transformed the way students interact with their peers and instructors. With the advent of social media and educational apps, students can collaborate, share resources, and engage in discussions beyond the confines of the classroom. This collaborative learning environment fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, which are essential in today's interconnected world. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the challenges that accompany technological advancements in education. One of the primary concerns is the digital divide, where students from low-income families may lack access to the necessary technology and internet connectivity. This gap can widen the educational disparities and hinder equal opportunities for learning. To address this issue, governments, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations must work together to provide affordable and accessible technology solutions to all students.Another challenge is the potential for technology to distract students from their studies. While digital tools can enhance learning, excessive use of smartphones, tablets, and computers can lead to decreased attention spans and decreased academic performance. Educators muststrike a balance between leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience and minimizing its potential negative impacts. In conclusion, technological advancements have had a profound impact on the field of education, ushering in a new era of learning. The integration of digital tools, online learning platforms, and collaborative environments has transformed the way students and teachers interact, offering opportunities for personalized and inclusive education. However, it is essential to address the challenges of the digital divide and ensure responsible use of technology to maximize its benefits.Thank you for your attention. I welcome any questions or comments you may have regarding the impact of technology on education. Let us work together to create a future where technology empowers learners and educators alike, shaping a brighter and more informed generation.。
