一、课文内容
Five little monkeys were jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped her head.
Four little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
Two little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
One little monkey jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped her head.
No little monkeys jumping on the bed,
None fell off and bumped their heads.
Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said:
“P ut them under the bed, and no one will bump their heads!”
二、教学建议
1.呈现情景
1
学生打开书本,看课文主题图。
待学生看完以后,问学生主题图表达的是什么意思。
学生会七嘴八舌地说出自己的感觉。
这个环节主要是训练学生的发现能力和想象能力。
由于不同的人对同一幅图会有不同的感觉,因此教师对学生的回答不要给出是非标准。
但是对每一个人的说法都要表示理解并做出恰当的反应。
教师先发问,“动物里面什么动物最调皮?”多数学生会说出猴子,结合课文主题图请学生猜一猜本节英语课将要学习什么,学生们会七嘴八舌给出各种不同的回答,教师引出教学内容:“五支小猴子的故事”并告诉学生“猴子”用英语说是monkey学生会七嘴八舌地说,教师不要纠正他们的错误发音,要保持他们的情绪,以便继续学习。
2.听录音
教师随着内容指图。
学生反复听,根据学生情况,一但感觉到学生有跃跃欲试的情绪时,及时鼓励他们跟着录音同时唱读。
注意:这时,不要打断学生,不要修正他们的错误,不作翻译或解释,训练学生对声音的模仿力。
3.跟着教师唱读(只唱读1-5段)
首先唱读第一段,唱熟练以后,再继续唱下去直到第五段,按照下面的断句分意群读,

教师要有表情有动作,与学生有交流;也可以利用挂图,根据内容指图,学生会猜到fell off;bumped 的大概意思。
但是注意,不必提问每个词的中文意思是什么。

4.教师一句一句带读,带读时要根据内容准确指图,时间要充分,要使学生明白以下两点:1)每段猴子的数目不同2)人称代词不同。
借助图,告诉学生her指女生是“她的”意思,his指男生是“他的”意思,要引导学生注意听her或his,判断掉在地上的猴子是男是女。
这样做仅仅是使学生对人称代词有感性认识,帮助理解、记忆,不要当成语法讲(课标二级目标要求学生理解人称代词的意思)。
由于每段猴子的数目不同,因此每段的数词要重读。
注意were jumping中的were不要重读
5.听录音跟读
学生边读边打出节奏,如拍手、手指敲击桌面,等。
6.分解教学,目的是理解故事意思。
(先教听后教说,听懂了以后再教说, 用听句子指图的方法检测)
利用图、动作、表情、交流、及适当的中文进行教学,1-5段要求学生会唱读,6-7段要求看图听懂即可。
如果有能力,也可以唱读全部歌谣。
1)用分解图1教five little monkeys,引导学生从服装观察男女,为下面的her, his作铺垫。
2)用分解图2教bed,
3)用分解图3教Five little monkeys were jumping on the bed, 还可以用动作表示jumping。
4)用分解图4教One fell off. ,如果学生猜不出意思,可以用中文解释fell off。
5)用分解图5教and bumped her head 也可以结合学生生活经验,问学生摔跤磕碰了头,会怎么样啊?学生可能会回答头上会磕出一个包,借此理解bumped,再用中文予以确定。
另外,要引导学生观察图中的猴子是女孩,并且与her匹配。
(用图6教Four little monkeys jumping on the bed, 从这句开始句子中没有了were,对此采取忽略策略)(用图7教Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,
(用图8教Two little monkeys jumping on the bed,
(用图9教One little monkey jumping on the bed, 这个句子中monkey是单数形式,当学生读成复数形式monkeys时,纠正一下即可,若学生问起原因,可简单说明这里是单数,不必特意做语法讲解。
)

(以下两段,根据学生情况,可以要求唱读,也可以要求能听懂即可)

7)用分解图11教Mama called the doctor, 指着图中的医生,使学生理解doctor的意思。

注意,本环节不必提问每个词的中文意思是什么。
用动作和图帮助学生理解under the bed。
their heads 学生跟读即可,若有学生问起,也可简单解释是复数,告诉学生英语中有单数和复数之分。
7.再听录音跟读(1-5段)
学生边读边打出节奏,如拍手、手指敲击桌面,等。
8.再听录音看图(6-7段)(有能力的班也可以跟读)
9.角色操练(1-5段)
学生扮演课文中的猴子,五人一组。
第一段5个人说,第二段4个人说,这样逐段递减下去。
每句中的One fell off都由掉下去的那一个人说,后半句仍是齐说。
用蹲下去的动作代表fell off,告诉学生蹲下去就表示从床上掉下去了,但是注意不要使学生误以为fell off是“蹲”的意思,把手攥成拳头,用头撞手的动作代表bumped his head,也要作解释,注意不要使学生误以为bumped his head是“用拳头打头”的意思。
另外,特别注意引导学生根据掉下去的学生是男生还是女生,而正确使用his、her、their。
9.大班活动建议:把全班分成五个人一组,同时练习,然后轮流到前面去表演。
鼓励学生创造动作,并到前面表演。
可以评选各种单项最佳,比如台词正确,语音语调好,表情好,创意好,配合好等等。

10.小班活动建议:1)同大班学习方法相同2)在地上划出一个范围表示一张大床,跳出范围就表示从床上掉下来了。
用一块圆形红纸贴在头上表示bumped his/her head,每组轮流表演。
(有的老师从体育器材室借来两块大垫子以保证安全。
)
11.提高班教学建议
1)培养学生看图听话的能力。
教师根据图讲故事,学生指图。
2)培养学生看图说话的能力。
教师指图,学生复讲故事。
12.基础教差班的教学建议
1)可以减少内容,可以减少段落,比如只唱三段。
可以改动最后结尾,比如删掉涂阴影的两句,

把最后两句改为:Mama called the doctor,
and the doctor said:
"Put them to sleep
under the bed!"
并按照上面的断句,按意群教唱。
