The Target Audience
The members of my target audience break down this way: 7 give “fear of being pronounced dead prematurely” as their main reason for not signing organ cards; 5 are concerned about their body being “cut up or disfigured”; and 3 cite religious reasons for their opposition. The questionnaires also show that 8 of the 15 don’t fully understand the need for organ donors.

1 Persuasive Speech Attack on Lybia,no oil demanding※Specific purpose : : To To persuade persuade my my my audience audience audience that that that the the the aim aim aim of of of the the combined combined armies armies armies of multiplied nations of multiplied nations’s attack on Lybia is not the nation ’s oil..※Central idea: The attack on Lybia by multiplied nations can ’t be for the desire for oil,for the cost of the military actions is much too high while the feedback of the war may not be be the the ideal ideal one one one that that that had had had been been been expected, nor expected, nor it it is is rational or economically beneficial.※Main points:I. Not economic to wage war for the exchange of oil A. High expenses of the Iraq war should be alerting B. The value of the oil is unable to pay off the cost of the military fares. C.It is not economic to ask for oil in Lybia nowadays II.No reason to have a war simply for oil A. Control over the defeated country will be very tough B. B. Control Control Control over over over the the the the the the right right right to to to dig dig dig up up up oil oil oil in in in a a a defeated defeated defeated country country country is is pessimistic C. Control over the amount of exporting oil of a defeated country is hard to maintain either Good morning,Ladies and Gentleman,As the Lybia crisis has been the international focus for months and it seems to be worsening and increasingly unpredicatable in thefuture,I’d like to give my point of view on the motive of this war andthough it may be a little surprising to you all But in fact,,I do nothold the opinion that the military actions by the multiplied nationsshould be the demand for the nation’s oil and my accounts are asfollows:My first main point is that it is not economic to wage war for the exchange of oil.Firstly, the high expenses of the Iraq war should be alerting.Apartfrom some very obvious expenses of the military actions on Iraq by the U.S,there are still several inevident expenses such as the toll of soldiers, the bad affect upon the domestic economy etc.If all these factors should be taken into consideration, the Bush government had paid more than three hundred billion dollars for the war and the war on Lybia could be no less costly than the previous one.And the value of the oil is unable to pay off the cost of the military fares.Accoding to an estimation, the benefit gained by selling oil will take more than 7 years to pay off the military expenses ,on theaccount that the current price for oil may not alter in the future. Also, it is not economic to ask for oil in Lybia nowadays. The productivity of oil manufacture of Lybia is unable to catch up with Iraq back in 2003 and there has been no evidence up till now that the war in Lybia will cost the multiplied forces less compared with whatit did to the US in Iraq. Now let’s come to my second main standpoint. There is no reason to have a war with Lybia simply for its oilFirstly, the control over the defeated country will be very tough.Let’t seizeme take Iraq for an instance. After the Iraq war,America didnthe possession of the oil field. For if the US really took them awayform Iraq rudely ,it would really have been a deed of robber andjustice would not stand alongside with the US and the rebellion andprotest of the Iraqi people against the Americans would bring“benefit ”is what America is enormous damage to the US and thismost unlikely to obtain.Secondly, Control over the the right to dig up oil in a defeated country is pessimistic. If the road should be opened up for the captalists inside America on the expense of blood, lives and of course, the seemingly endless payment for military fees, the payment should be too much and totally inaccessible and unaccepted by the American government. For it will be against the simpleformula:Investment should be greater than benefit and interests and no one will be silly enough to take the risk to break it.Thirdly, Control over the amount of exporting oil of a defeated country is hard to maintain either.Neither Iraq nor Lybia, that the productivity of oil is strong enough to g enerategenerate the dependence ofthe oil-consuming countrie, most of which are the western countriesand the absence of oil importing form either of the two countries could become a fatal challenge to them.In conclusion, the war of Lybia can not be solely for the demad of its oil, more political and diplomatic benefits are involved in it and every major nation of the multiplied forces should have their own reasons to interfere the crisis of Lybia. That’s all, thank you for your listening.May 22nd,2011。

Does a postgraduate have that kind of ability to get higher salary?(描述现象:对于研究生来说,前年找工作难,去年找工作简单)The year before last, lots of postgraduates are worried about their jobs after they have graduated from University. However, in the last year, many postgraduates are so lucky to find better jobs, to get higher salary, no matter what he or she learned in the three year of postgraduate life. Maybe this good phenomenon will last for about five years for postgraduates. There are several reasons to support my opinion.(解释原因)First, the policy Chinese government made in 1999 that Universities admitted many more students is wrong so that college graduates are much more difficult to find better jobs. On the contrary, postgraduates have some kind of abilities to meet the demands of corporations. So, it seems that postgraduates could have better salary. (第一方面的原因是:国家在1999年制定的大学扩招的错误政策导致大学生暴增,大学毕业生找工作困难,而研究生相对来说更符合企业的要求,找工作相对容易。

3. Use of evidence
I. Bush uses a combination of extended and brief examples to argue against stereotypes and intolerance for difference. 1) The story of where the mermaids stand is an effective extended example. 2) through the story of the couples’ debate over babysitting one’s own kids, Bush explained the need for adjusting to changes and choices men and women are facing 3) Winner of the hoop race example, Bush suggested that winner realize her own dream instead of society’s dream. In other words, the dream of becoming a stayat-home mom should be equally acceptable as the dream of becoming president of the United States. 4) Bush used her own experience as an example to show that having fun and joy is an important foundation for a good marriage. II. Testimony Bush quoted Ferris Bueleer– the leading character in Ferris Bueller’s Day off to persuade the audience to stop once in a while to smell the roes. The testimony is convincing because the film is extremely popular among the young audience.

persuasive speech演讲稿Persuasive Speech: The Importance of Environmental ConservationIntroduction:Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and fellow students, today I stand before you to address a pressing issue that affects every single one of us: environmental conservation. Our planet is facing unprecedented challenges, and it is our responsibility to take action and preserve the beauty and diversity of our natural world. In this persuasive speech, I will present compelling arguments and evidence to convince you of the importance of environmental conservation.Body:1. Threats to our environmentOur environment is under constant threat due to human activities such as deforestation, pollution, and climate change. Deforestation not only destroys habitats but also contributes to climate change by releasing massive amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Pollution, whether it be air, water, or land pollution, poses serious health risks to both humans and wildlife. Climate change, caused primarily by the burning of fossil fuels, is leading to rising global temperatures, increasing frequency of extreme weather events, and endangering numerous species.2. Biodiversity lossEnvironmental conservation is crucial for the preservation of biodiversity. Biodiversity refers to the variety of plants, animals, andmicroorganisms that inhabit our planet. The intricate web of life that exists on Earth is interconnected, and the loss of even a single species can have far-reaching consequences. By conserving our natural habitats, we ensure the survival of countless species and maintain the delicate balance of ecosystems, which provide essential services such as clean air and water, pollination, and nutrient cycling.3. Economic benefitsContrary to popular belief, environmental conservation is not solely an altruistic endeavor. In fact, it has numerous economic benefits. Protecting and restoring natural ecosystems promotes ecotourism, which attracts visitors and generates revenue for local communities. Additionally, sustainable practices, such as renewable energy investments and the promotion of green technologies, can create jobs and stimulate economic growth. By investing in nature, we invest in our future prosperity.4. Health and well-beingA clean and healthy environment is essential for our own well-being. Studies have shown that time spent in nature can reduce stress, improve mental health, and enhance overall quality of life. Furthermore, conservation efforts such as planting trees and creating green spaces in urban areas can mitigate the effects of air pollution and improve air quality, leading to improved respiratory health for communities. By protecting our environment, we protect ourselves. Conclusion:In conclusion, environmental conservation is not a choice, but an urgent necessity. It is imperative that we take immediate action to address the threats facing our planet. By preserving biodiversity, promoting sustainable practices, and recognizing the economic and health benefits of environmental conservation, we can build a better future for ourselves and generations to come. Let us stand together and be the voice for our planet, advocating for a sustainable and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Thank you.Word Count: 526 words。

Most Necessary Change to Education Policy in ChinaHello, everyone! Have you ever complained about the Chinese education system? Believe it or not, many of my friends even talked dirty on it. Under the education policy in China, which attaches too much importance to our scores, we have to do countless and useless homework every day. We are trapped in piles of exercise books and huge academic pressure, which consume all our spare time and energy. In my view, it is the College Entrance Examination that makes us in torture. We have been instilled the idea that one can become successful only by going to college, and those who fail the exam will be jobless and have a depressing future, so almost all of us will study desperately to be admitted into an elite university. As the policy requires us to develop in an all-around way, we have to take full command of various kinds of subject, and everything we learn, such as instruments, is to add marks. Since the only standard that these higher learning institution refer to measure their freshmen is the matriculation results, we can do nothing but indulge in our academic works. With this education policy, we seldom have choices. We can’t always learn what w e actually love but what we are good at only to make the tests easier to pass. We seldom have aims. We even don't know that we have been occupied by exercises. And we seldom have dreams. We have no idea about our future because our numb mind can't afford such a question.Although it is extraordinary hard to solve this problem and improve the system circumstance, some government officials have devoted all their effort to amend the policy to make Gaokao less important and ask these senior highs to take their interest as well as future into consideration. Besides, those business companies should change their employment standard, too. Whether one has been to university or not, he deserves a job with his own quality.Thank you!。

Keeping to the speed limit can also help the environment. The more you speed the more petrol you are going to use, making the pollution higher. Also, SUV’s make about six times their own weight in CO2 each year. A small efficient diesel car covering the same distance not only uses much less fuel; it makes two thirds less.
