文章写有三个theories,
第 1 个是comet theory, 说有人说听到巨响, 所以有可能是这样, 那些红雨其实是陨石碎片
第 2 个可能是说是红色的沙子, 从northafirca/abadia(拼的似乎不对) 吹来的
第 3 个可能是chilen(拼的不对, 应该是苔藓植物的一种) spores, 因为这种spores 在karele 附近都是红色的,而且有很大产量, 所以非常非常有可能是因为这个原因
听力反对
教授反驳了三个观点, 原因如下
1. 过去100 年里一共下了3 次红雨, 3 次陨石在同一个地方是very rare.
2.the red dust from deserts are contained a lot of chemical elements, such as Iron and phosphorus, 但是那种雨里这些化学物质的含量是very small of amount所以也不可能
3. 那种spores 也不太可能, 讲了他们的LIFE CIRCLE 说如果他们同时进入reproductive phase 才能释放spores, 所以同时进入这个Phase 的几率也基本等于0

托福真题回忆：11⽉26⽇托福机经 阅读：【记起来再补充】 其实我平时最纠结的是阅读。
这次阅读我觉得做得不太顺畅。
第⼀篇：考了美国的城市化。
主要说因为事先没有规划，都是为了利益⽽乱来，导致什么环境恶劣，只记得中产阶层都往外跑。
第⼆篇：讲了某种动物的“守卫⾏为”。
有⼏个猜想。
1，进化论，和基因有关。
后来被否定。
2，（不很记得）可能是保护亲⼈？但是好像发现⽆论群体的规模⽆关，所以也不对。
3，仅仅是出于保护⾃⼰，不过因为多⼈的话，觅⾷会更轻松，所以会更好。
第三篇：不记得了。
阅读我做得不好。
听⼒：（记起来再补充）1：【机经有】学⽣质疑为⽑我要买那么贵的套餐？校⼯答：第⼀学期家长都怕孩⼦吃不饱。
⼤三⼤四能⾃⼰决定买不买和卖多少。
学⽣问，吃不完能下学期继续吃吗？（不⾏）那能返现吗？（不⾏）学⽣问，那吃不完怎么办，不是浪费钱吗？！校⼯：well，你可以请同学吃。

解释：医疗技术的发展能够决定是否人们能够保持健康的身体状态，而这也是社会发展的前提条件，因为没有健康的普通个体，社会的各个行业的发展不可能得到保障。
例子：近10年左右，各种大范围突发性传染疾病的出现使得人们的身体健康时刻处于威胁之下，从2003年席卷中国的SARS，到几年先后出现的禽流感，还有近两年出现的埃博拉病毒。
如果医疗技术没有在进步，那么很可能整个人类都会处于巨大的威胁之下。
