The Grand Hotel「原山饭店」From the freeway you will see the beautiful lookingbuildings set hi gh on the on the green mountain in thesuburb of Taipei. The Chin ese-style architecture of the GrandHotel is very colorful; it has bee n ranked as one of theworld's top ten. The lobby is very large, and the roof has hand- carved wooden panels; thesupporting columns are colorfully painted. The most impressive item in the lobby is th e large,beautiful, all-marble staircase that comes down from the se cond floor on two sides of thelobby; a huge bronze wall painting separates the two staircases. Standing in the lobby you feelas if you have walked into a king's palace because of so many beautiful thi ngs around you.On a Crowded Bus「挤公车」I am a senior high student who has to commute from home to sch ool every day.
