2010 年 1 月 4 日听写文本Hi, everyone.Welcome to Studio Classroom Worldwide. My name is Steve.Hi, everyone. My name is Hazel.Hazel, guess what? What?I decided to get a pet.A pet! That’s great, Steve.Pets are a lot of fun.Yeah.And pets are a lot of work too. It’s important to choose a pet that’s just right for you.Mm, that’s true, so I decided to get...A dog? No.A cat.No, no, no.I want a giraffe.A giraffe? Why?Well, giraffes are tall like me.Yeah, but giraffes are too tall to fit in your apartment, Steve.Hmm.Then how about a kangaroo?I can have it, you know, carry my stuff in its pocket.Uh, Steve, do you really want a kangaroo jumping on your bed at night?Hmm, I guess you’re right. So which pet should I get, Hazel?Hmm... Oh, I know.Let’s ask the pet expert. You mean an animal doctor?Yeah. Today’s guest is a veterinarian.Oh.Maybe he can help suggest a pet that fits my lifestyle.I think that’s what we should do, Steve:Ask the expert.Oh, wait!I just thought of the perfect pet.Oh, yeah?Oh, what is it?A fish.A fish!Steve, that’s a great pet for you. That’s right.I’ve always wanted to have a shark.A shark!Steve!Yeah. I can keep it in the swimming pool.Oh, Steve, wait.I think you’d better ask the expert.Hmm. Good idea, Hazel.Friends, let’s turn to page fourteen in our magazines and learn about pets.Happy Pets, Happy PeopleChoosing and caring for the perfect petWhat should a person consider when choosing a pet?The determining factor should be your lifestyle.Do you spend more time at home or outdoors?Do you have small children or elderly people in the house?Do you keep your house neat? You should also ask yourself how long you are willing to commit to the pet.Dogs and cats may live 15 to 20 years, but birds can live 30 years or more. How can people and pets adjust to living with each other?Hi, friends.I’m Chip. And I’m Chelsea. Thanks for joining us today for our Ask the Expert feature.Do you have a pet?If you do, you want your pet to be happy. And if your pet is happy, there’s a good chance you will be happy as well. This article is all about choosing and caring for the perfect pet.We talk to someone who knows quite a lot about how to do these things.Right.This month, we’re talking to an expert named Dr. Hung. And he is a uh... an expert in the field ofV eterinary Medicine. Now if something is involved with veterinary science, then we know that it has something to do with taking care of pets. We’re talking about pet care, pet health, uh, pet medicine.OK.And we could also say that he is a veterinarian since he practices V eterinary Medicine.A veterinarian is just a doctor for animals. We can shorten that and say that he’s a vet.But not only is he a veterinarian, he also acts as Chief Cardiologist uh, at the Cardiospecial V eterinary Hospital in Taipei. And a cardiologist is just a heart specialist. So I imagine, Chip, that that means he spends a lot of time checking the health of animals’ hearts.Right.And actually, uh... if you have your magazine on page fourteen, you can see a picture of Dr. Hung checking the heartbeat of the dog on the table there. And our article uh, first starts off with a question for Dr. Hung.Uh, Studio Classroom asks him:What should a person consider when choosing a pet?Now Chelsea, personally, I think I would probably choose a pet that’s cheap,a pet that uh... you know, is not too expensive. What kind of pet would you choose?Well, I think a... a cheap pet is... is good because, as you know, many pets can get very expensive. But I think I would want something that’s very cute.So I would maybe look for a cute puppy. But of course, we should probably go with the expert’s opinion on this one, so let’s find out what Dr. Hung says.He says that the determining factor or the deciding point should be your lifestyle, should be the way that you live your life. And he goes on to maybe ask some questions about your lifestyle. And he says, ”Do you spend more time at home or outdoors?”.So do you spend more of your time indoors or outdoors? At home or out away from your house? So do you have small children or elderly people in the house with you? That’s another thing to consider. And one other thing, Chelsea.Do you keep your house neat?If you like your house neat and clean and very organized, you might not want to buy a very large dog.I could see that that might get you into some trouble if the dog runs around and knocks things over on the floor. You might have a very messy house very fast.So the doctor tells us that you should also ask yourself:How long are you willing to commit to the pets? And he goes on to tell us specifically about pets’ lives. But before we go on, let’s look at that word:commit.Right. To commit to something is to promise yourself. So actually, in a wedding, you have two people committing to each other.Well, when you buy a pet or when you bring on... bring a pet into your home, then you are committing yourself to the life of that pet. You’re committing, you’re promising to take care of that pet. That’s right. And he goes on to say that dogs and cats may live 15 to 20 years, but birds can actually live 30 years or more. Now I know birds are pretty popular pets.So if you bring one home, you need to be prepared to keep it and take care of it for many, many years. That’s something to think about before you purchase one.We go on to ask Dr. Hung:How can people and pets adjust to living with each other?Let’s look at that word:adjust.Well, if you’re adjusting, then that means that you are changing yourself or you’re changing something in order to fit.So if you move to a different location, then you’ll probably adjust your lifestyle to fit that location. And here when you bring a pet, a new pet into your home, you will probably need to change your lifestyle or adjust your lifestyle to match living with the pet.All right. We have plenty more to ask Dr. Hung. And actually, we’ll get the answer to this question after we talk to Dr. Hung right now,and find out how he became a vet. And then we’ll take a break. But stay with us so we can answer this question when we return. We’re here today at the Cardiospecial V eterinary Hospital to meet with Dr. Joey Hung. He’s the Chief Veterinary Cardiologist here. And we’re going to ask him about taking care of your pets.Let’s go!Dr. Hung, tell us.Why did you decide to become a veterinarian?Um, I grew up in avery traditional Taiwanese family and parents want you to be a doctor. But I love pets better than humans, so I want to be a veterinarian.And... and then I got a very good score in the entrance examination, and then I got into a vet school to become a vet.How do you become a veterinarian? In order to become a vet, of course you have to graduate from the vet school and pass the National Board. At my time, um, we didn’t have official clinical training course, so I went to the United States for my clinical training.I went to the Animal Medical Center in New York first for my internship. And then I went to the Ohio State University for my graduate study in cardiology. And that’s the time when I decided to become a veterinary cardiologist. And then after uh, graduating from the graduate school in Ohio State University,I went down to North Carolina State University for my uh, cardiology residency training. And then after that, I... I became specialized in Veterinarian Cardiology. What’s the difference between a normal veterinarian and a veterinary cardiologist? Most people come to me because their dogs suffer from heart disease. And the reason why they know their dogs...suffer from heart disease is that their doctors tell them their dogs have heart disease, because, of course, your... your pets will not tell you, ”I have a heart disease” or... or something like that.Or sometimes their dogs are having uh... clinical signs of coughing or... or short of breath or we call that exercising tolerance. It means they walk, but they... they’re tired easily. And that’s the time when people will start to think maybe their pets are suffering from heart disease. And of course our hospital here, we have other doctors who are doing uh, general practice. And they can also do general checkup, the skin problem, the GI Gastroenterology problem, something like that.We do everything here.Welcome back from break, everyone. This month, Studio Classroom talks to Dr. Joey Hung about pets and pet care.Dr. Hung is the charter president of the Taiwan Academy of V eterinary Internal Medicine. He also serves as Superintendent and Chief Cardiologist at Cardiospecial Veterinary Hospital in Taipei. We hope that by asking Dr. Hung some key questions, we can make the issues of owning and caring for a pet clearer.Let’s listen to Dr. Hung’s response to our second question about adjusting to life with a pet beginning on line fourteen.Happy Pets, Happy PeopleGood, continuous training and lots of love are the keys to good relationships between pets and people. What is the best way to go about training your pet?Patience! Patience! Patience!Teach your pet one skill at a time, and reward your pet for good performance instead of just punishing it for failures. How much exercise do pets really need?As a general rule of thumb, most dogs need at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Most cats, in contrast, exercise when they feel like it.Welcome back. Before the break, we... asked Dr. Hung, a veterinary specialist:What do people need to adjust or how can people and pets adjust so that they can live with one another?Well, Dr. Hung answers that first of all, you need to have good, continuous training. Now that... that’s the kind of training or the kind of teaching that is continuous. So it... it lasts a long time and it’s repeated very often. And this is training your pet to behave or to act in the way that you want it to act. That’s not the only thing he suggests. But in addition to continuous training, he also says lots of love is another key to a good relationship between pets and people.I think these are two very basic suggestions. But I think they are very good pieces of advice. There needs to be continuous training and there needs to be a lot of love in order for pet owners and their pets to adjust to one another.Sogood, continuous training and lots of love.Well, here’s a question for you.Can dogs eat chocolate?I think chocolate is pretty tasty, but can dogs eat it?Well, let’s find out.Can dogs eat chocolate? The simple answer is no.Chocolate contains a substance called theobromine, which dogs have a hard time digesting.Dogs will usually vomit and develop diarrhea after eating small amounts of chocolate. If dogs eat large amounts of chocolate, they may become restless or hyperactive, pant or have difficulty breathing. The heart may even stop working, resulting in the animal’s death.Well, that is some pretty good information to know if you own a dog.So now we come to the third question that Studio Classroom asks Dr. Hung. And we say, ”What is the best way to go about training your pet?”.Now this is an important question. We just talked about the fact that in order to adjust to one another, you need to provide continuous training for your pet.It kind of sounds like that’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of effort. But he has a pretty good answer for us.Right.And he sounds very passionate about his answer because he says it three times. He says, ”Patience! Patience! Patience!”.Now patience is the ability to wait for someone or something without getting angry. So if you want to train your pet well, you will need to have that ability. You’ll need to have patience. And he goes on to give some additional advice. He says, ”Teach your pet one skill at a time and reward your pet for good performance instead of just punishing it for failures.”.Let’s go back and look at the first part of that.He says, ”Teach your pet one skill at a time.”.Now it’s... it’s not very wise to think that the first time you bring home a new pet we’ll say a... a new puppy that you’re going to need...you’re going to need more than one day to teach it several different skills. You can’t teach it to sit and to go to the bathroom outside and all these different skills all at once.It takes time.Maybe just a little bit here and there.Right. So you teach your pet one skill at a time. And you reward your pet for things that it does well or for skills that it does correctly, for actions that it does correctly. If you reward someone or something, that means you give it something that it wants uh, because it did something that you wanted it to do.So for example, good teachers will reward their students when their students behave well.So be sure to reward your pet instead of just punishing it for its failures. One more question that we’ll ask today is:How much exercise do pets really need?Another important question. And Dr. Hung answers by saying:As a general rule of thumb, most dogs need at least 30 minutes of exercise a day.Now as a general rule of thumb...Well, a rule of thumb is not really a rule. It’s kind of a good tip that’s based on experience. So a good tip or a good thing to remember is dogs need about 30 minutes of exercise a day.Cats, on the other hand, in contrast, exercise whenever they feel like it.Now that’s all we have for today. But join us tomorrow when we talk more to our expert this month. Before we go today, let’s visit the Chat Room.Hey, Ashley.Did you lose something?Yes. I think I lost my keys.I thought I put them right here on the table, but I must’ve dropped them somewhere. You know, speaking of keys,I was just reading about the keys to good relationships between pets and people in today’s Studio Classroom magazine.Uh, what kind of key is the... article referring to when it says good, continuous training and lots of love are the keys to good relationships?Uh, I think I read about that too.But those are different kinds of keys. They are?How so?Well, I think we should ask Studio Classroom’s editor Linda about this.Let me contact her.Hi, Ken.Hi, Ashley. The kind of keys our lessen refers to isdifferent from the keys you use to open a door. The keys in the lesson are figurative. They don’t open up real doors, but they open up or provide opportunities. In today’s lesson, good, continuous training and love will help you open up an opportunity for a good relationship with your pet.The key leads to something you want or need. You know, many people claim to have the key to success. If you follow their guidelines, you will be successful in life.Or some people say they know the key to losing weight.Well, I hope I made this clear to you.Until next time.Bye!OK. Well, that makes sense except Linda said the keys were figurative.I don’t understand.OK. Figurative is symbolic or not literal. The keys I lost are literal. They are real. But the keys in the lesson are not real keys. They represent the secret to good relationships between pets and people.I see.So any luck with those real keys?Well, guess what?I left them inside one of my books.Oh, good.Well, you found your keys and I found the meaning of key from the lesson.Yes. Do you want to check out that book?Ah, yeah. In a minute.(Chinese).The key to mastering English.(Chinese).Hi, everyone. I’m Michelle.(Chinese).And I guess that’s all the time we have for today.See you tomorrow.Byebye.Thank you, Michelle. We always appreciate those helpful tips.Often when we talk about pets, the English vocabulary words seem pretty easy, right? We use words like cat, cute and furry.Well, with this lesson because we’re talking with a veterinarian, the words are a little more challenging. So if you need to get a handle on the World Bank and More Information words, try a little preview and review before tomorrow’s lessons.Friends, go home and hug your dog, cat, bird or fish, and then join us again here for day two of our Ask the Expert lesson.Byebye。

Each word can only be used once. Note that there is one word more than you need.Let's say you've decided you want to eat more healthfully. However, you don't have time to carefully plan menus for meals or read food 41at the supermarket. Since you really 42 yourself to a healthier lifestyle, a little help would e in handy, wouldn't it? This is where a "choice architect" can help43some of the burden of doing it all yourself. Choice architects are people who organize the contexts in which customers make decisions. For example, the person who de-cides the layout of your local supermarketincluding which shelf the peanut butter goes on, and how the oranges are piled up — is a choice architect.Governments don’t have to44healthier lifestyles through laws for example, smoking bans. Rather, if given an environment created by a choice architectone that encourages us to choose what is bestwe will do the right things. In other words, there will be designs that gently push customers toward making healthier choices, without removing freedom of choice. This idea bines freedom to choose with 45hints from choice architects, who aim to help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The British and Swedish governments have introduced a socalled "traffic light system" to 46foods as healthy or unhealthy. This means that customers can see at a glance how much fat, sugar, and salt each product contains 47by looking at the lights on the package. A green light48that the amounts of the three nutrients are healthy; yellow indicates that the customer should be49; and red means that the food is high in at least one of the three nutrients and should be eaten in50. The customer is given important health information, but is still free to decide what to choose.III. Reading prehensionSection ADirections: For each blank in the following passage there are four words or phrases marked A, B, C and D. Fill in each blank with the word or phrase that best fits the context.Research has shown that twothirds of human conversation is taken up not with discussion of the cultural or political problems of the day, not heated debates about films we've just watched or books we've just finished reading, but plain and simple51.Language is our greatest treasure as a species, and what do we52do with it? We gossip. About others' behaviour and private lives, such as who's doing what with whom, who's in and who's outand why; how to deal with difficult53situations involving children, lovers, and col-leagues.So why are we keen on gossiping? Are we just natural54, of both time and words? Or do we talk a lot about nothing in particular simply to avoid facing up to the really important issues of life? It's not the case according to Professor Robin Dunbar. In fact, in his latest book, Grooming, Gossip and the Evolution of Language, the psychologist says gossip is one of these really55 issues.Dunbar56the traditional view that language was developed by the men at the early stage of social development in order to organize their manly hunting activities more effectively, or even to promote the exchange of poetic stories about their origins and the supernatural. Instead he suggests that language evolved among women. We don't spend twothirds of our time gossip-ing just because we can talk, argues Dunbar—57, he goes on to say, language evolved spe-cifically to allow us to gossip.Dunbar arrived at his cheery theory by studying the58of the higher primates(灵长类动物)like monkeys. By means of groomingcleaning the fur by brushing it, monkeys form groups with other individuals on whom they can rely for support in the event of some kind of conflict within the group or59from outside it.As we human beings evolve from a particular branch of the primate family, Dunbar 60 that at one time in our history we did much the same. Grouping together made sense because the bigger the group, the greater the 61it provided; on the other hand, the bigger the group, the greater the stresses of living close to others. Grooming helped to62the pressure and calmeverybody down. But as the groups got bigger and bigger, the amount of time spent in grooming activities also had to be63to maintain its effectiveness. Clearly, a more64kind of grooming was needed, and thus language evolved as a kind of vocal(有声的)grooming which allowed humans to develop relationship with everlarger groups by exchanging information over a wider network of individuals than would be possible by onetoone 65contact.51.A. claim B. description C. gossip D. language52.A. occasionally B. habitually C. independently D. originally53.A. social B. political C. historical D. cultural54.A. admirers B. masters C. users D. wasters55.A. vital B. sensitive C. ideal D. difficult56.A. confirms B. rejects C. outlines D. broadens57.A. for instance B. in addition C. on the contrary D. as a result58.A. motivation B. appearance C. emotion D. behaviour59.A. attack B. contact C. inspection D. assistance60.A. recalls B. denies C. concludes D. confesses61.A. prospect B. responsibility C. leadership D. protection62.A. measure B. show C. maintain D. ease63.A. saved B. extended C. consumed D. gained64.A. mon B. efficient C. scientific D. Thoughtful65.A. indirect B. daily C. physical D. secretSection BDirections: Read the following three passages. Each passage is followed by several questions or unfinished statements. For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C and D. Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read.(A)Most people agree that honesty is a good thing. But does Mother Nature agree?Animals can't talk, but can they lie in other ways? Can they lie with their bodiesand behavior? Animal experts may not call it lying, but they do agree that manyanimals, from birds to chimpanzees, behave dishonestly to fool other animals. Why? Dishonesty often helps them survive. Many kinds of birds are very successful at fooling other animals. For example, a bird called the plover sometimes pretends to be hurt in order to protect its young. When a predator(猎食动物)gets close to its nest, the plover leads the predator away from the nest. How? It pretends to have a broken wing. The predator follows the "hurt" adult, leaving the baby birds safe in the nest.Another kind of bird, the scrub jay, buries its food so it always has something to eat. Scrub jays are also thieves. They watch where others bury their food and steal it. But clever scrub jays seem to know when a thief is watching them. So they go back later, unbury the food, and bury it again somewhere else.Birds called cuckoos have found a way to have babies without doing much work. How? They don't make nests. Instead, they get into other birds' nests secretly. Then they lay their eggs and fly away. When the baby birds e out, their adoptive parents feed them.Chimpanzees, or chimps, can also be sneaky. After a fight, the losing chimp will give its hand to the other. When the winning chimp puts out its hand, too, the chimps are friendly again. But an animal expert once saw a losing chimp take the winner's hand and start fighting again.Chimps are sneaky in other ways, too. When chimps find food that they love, such as bana-nas, it is natural for them to cry out. Then other chimps e running. But some clever chimps learn to cry very softly when they find food. That way, other chimps don't hear them, and they don't need to share their food.As children, many of us learn the saying "You can't fool Mother Nature." But maybe you can't trust her, either.66.A plover protects its young from a predator by______.A. getting closer to its youngB. driving away the adult predatorC. leaving its young in another nestD. pretending to be injured67.By "Chimpanzees, or chimps, can also be sneaky" (paragraph 5), the author means______.A. chimps are ready to attack othersB. chimps are sometimes dishonestC. chimps are jealous of the winnersD. chimps can be selfish too68.Which of the following is true according to the passage?A. Some chimps lower their cry to keep food away from others.B. The losing chimp won the fight by taking the winner's hand.C. Cuckoos fool their adoptive parents by making no nests.D. Some clever scrub jays often steal their food back.69.Which of the following might be the best title of the passage?A. Do animals lie?B. Does Mother Nature fool animals?C. How do animals learn to lie?D. How does honesty help animals survive?(B)Let's say you want to hit the gym more regularly this year. How do you make that happen? Consider putting the habit loop to use. Here's how it works:A habit is a 3step process. First, there's a cue, something that tells your brain to operate auto-matically. Then there's a routine. And finally, a reward, which helps your brain learn to desire the behavior. It's what you can use to createor breakhabits of your own. Here's how to apply it:Choose a cue, like leaving your running shoes by the door, then pick. a rewardsay, a piece of chocolate when you get home from the gym. That way, the cue and the reward bee interconnected. Finally, when you see the shoes, your brain will start longing for the reward, which will make it easier to work out day after day. The best part? In a couple of weeks, you won't need the chocolate at all. Your brain will e to see the workout itself as the reward. Which is the whole point, right?70.Which of the following best fits in the box with a “?”in THE HABIT LOOP?A. Pick a new cue.B. Form a new habit.C. Choose a new reward.D. To test out different kinds of cues.B. To do something as a habit even without rewards.C. To work out the best New Year's resolution.D. To motivate yourself with satisfactory rewards.73.“This year when I see the Harry Potter poster, I will read 30 pages of an English novel or anEnglish newspaper in order to watch TV for half an hour." What is the cue in this resolution?A. The Harry Potter poster.B. Reading 30 pages of an English novel.C. An English newspaper.D. Watching TV for half an hour.(C)If you could be anybody in the world, who would it be? Your neighbour or a super star? A few people have experienced what it might be like to step into the skin of another person, thanks to an unusual virtual reality(虚拟现实)device. Rikke Wahl, an actress, model and artist, was one of the participants in a body swapping experiment at the Be Another lab, a project developed by a group of artists based in Barcelona. She swapped with her partner, an actor, using a machine called The Machine to Be Another and temporarily became a man. "As I looked down, I saw my whole body as a man, dressed in my partner's pants," she said. "That's the picture I remember best."The setup is relatively simple. Both users wear a virtual reality headset with a camera on the top. The video from each camera is sent to the other person, so what you see is the exact view of your partner. If she moves her arm, you see it. If you move your arm, she sees it.To get used to seeing another person's body without actually having control of it, participants start by raising their arms and legs very slowly, so that the other can follow along. Eventually, this kind of slow synchronised(同步的)movement bees fortable, and participants really start to feel as though they are living in another person's body.Using such technology promises to alter people's behaviour afterwardspotentially for the bet-ter. Studies have shown that virtual reality can be effective in fighting racismthe bias(偏见)that humans have against those who don't look or sound like them. Researchers at the University of Barcelona gave people a questionnaire called the Implicit Association Test, which measures the strength of people's associations between, for instance, black people and adjectives such as good, bad, athletic or awkward. Then they asked them to control the body of a dark skinned digital character using virtual reality glasses, before taking the test again. This time, the participants' bias scores were lower. The idea is that once you've "put yourself in another's shoes" you're less likely to think ill of them, because your brain has internalised the feeling of being that person. The creators of The Machine to Be Another hope to achieve a similar result. "At the end of body swapping, people feel like holding each other in their arms," says Arthur Pointeau, a pro-grammer with the project. "It's a really nice way to have this kind of experience. I would really, really remend it to everyone."74.The word "swapping" (paragraph 1) is closest in meaning to______.A. buildingB. exchangingC. controllingD. transplanting75.We can infer from the experiment at the Be Another lab that______.A. our feelings are related to our bodily experienceB. we can learn to take control of other people's bodiesC. participants will live more passionately after the experimentD. The Machine to Be Another can help people change their sexes76.In the Implicit Association Test, before the participants used virtual reality glasses to control a dark skinned digital character, ______.A. they fought strongly against racismB. they scored lower on the test for racismC. they changed their behaviour dramaticallyD. they were more biased against those unlike them77.It can be concluded from the passage that______.A. technology helps people realize their dreamsB. our biases could be eliminated through experimentsC. virtual reality helps promote understanding among peopleD. our points of view about others need changing constantlySection CDirections: Read the passage carefully. Then answer the questions or plete the statements in the fewest possible words.More and more corporations are taking an interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR).CSR is made up of three broad layers. The most basic is traditional corporate charity work. panies typically spend about 1% of pretax profits on worthy projects. But many feel that simply writing cheques to charities is no longer enough. In some panies, shareholders want to know that their money is being put to good use, and employees want to be actively involved in good works.Money alone is not the answer when panies e under attack for their behavior. Hence the sec-ond layer of CSR, which is a branch of risk management. Starting in the 1980s, with environmen-tal disasters such as the explosion at Bhopal and the Exxon V aldez oil spill, industry after industry has suffered blows to its reputation. So, panies often responded by trying to manage the risks. They talk to nongovernmental or-ganisations (NGOs) and to governments, create codes of conduct(行为准则) and devote them-selves to more transparency(透明)in their operations. Increasingly, too. they, along with their pet-itors, set mon rules to spread risks. All this is largely defensive, but there are also opportunities for those that get ahead of the game. The emphasis on opportunity is the third layer of CSR: the idea that it can help to create value. If approached in a strategic way, CSR could bee part of a pany's petitive advantage. That is just the sort of thing chief executives like to hear. The idea of "doing well by doing good" has bee popular.Nevertheless, the business of trying to be good is bringing difficult questions to executives. Can you measure CSR performance? Should you be cooperating with NGOs and you’re your pet-itors? Is there any really petitive advantage to be had from a green strategy?Corporate social responsibility is now seen as a mainstream. Big panies want to tell the world about their good citizenship with their devotion to social responsibilities. Done badly, CSR is of-ten just windowdressing and can be positively harmful. Done well, though, it is not some separate activity that panies do on the side, a corner of corporate life reserved for virtue(美德):it is just good business.(Note: Answer the questions or plete the statements in NO MORE THAN TEN WORDS)78.Both _________ in some panies find it no longer enough to simply donate money to charities.79.Give one example of the defensive measures of risk management according to the passage.80.With the emphasis on opportunity, the third layer of CSR is meant to_________.81.According to the passage, "good business" (paragraph 6) means that corporations ________while making profits.第II卷(共47分)I. 空中英语教室5月课文内容The Air English Classroom is a popular language learning platform that offers a variety of engaging and informative lessons to help students improve their English skills. In May, the classroom featured a diverse range of topics that covered various aspects of the language, from grammar and vocabulary to conversational skills and cultural awareness. One of the key lessons in May focused on the importance of proper grammar usage. The lesson delved into the nuances of subject-verb agreement, exploring how to ensure that the verb form correctly matches the subject, even in more complex sentence structures. Students learned strategies for identifying and correcting common grammatical errors, such as the use of singular and plural forms, as well as the appropriate use of verb tenses. By the end of the lesson, participants had a stronger understanding of how to apply grammatical principles to their written and spoken English, enabling them to communicate more effectively.Another notable lesson in the May curriculum centered onexpanding students' vocabulary. The lesson introduced a range of new words and phrases, covering both everyday language and more specialized terminology. Participants engaged in interactive exercises that reinforced the meanings and usage of these new vocabulary items, such as matching words to their definitions, using them in contextual sentences, and even playing word games to solidify their understanding. The lesson also emphasized the importance of regularly practicing and incorporating new vocabulary into one's speech and writing, as this is a crucial step in building a robust and versatile language repertoire. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, the Air English Classroom also dedicated a lesson to improving conversational skills. This lesson focused on developing fluency and confidence in spoken English, with a particular emphasis on common conversational scenarios and strategies for engaging in natural-sounding dialogues. Students learned techniques for initiating and maintaining conversations, such as asking open-ended questions, responding appropriately, and using transitional phrases to smoothly move the discussion forward. They also had the opportunity to practice these skills through role-playing activities, which allowed them to apply their newfound knowledge in a simulated real-world setting.Furthermore, the May curriculum included a lesson on cultural awareness and understanding. This lesson explored the diversecultural traditions, customs, and social norms of English-speaking countries, providing students with a deeper appreciation for the richness and complexity of these cultures. Participants learned about various cultural practices, such as etiquette, holidays, and social interactions, and discussed how an awareness of these cultural nuances can enhance cross-cultural communication and understanding. By gaining this cultural knowledge, students were better equipped to navigate international settings and engage with people from different backgrounds in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner. One of the standout features of the Air English Classroom is its commitment to incorporating real-world examples and practical applications into its lessons. In keeping with this approach, the May curriculum included a lesson that focused on using English in professional and business-related contexts. This lesson covered topics such as writing effective emails, participating in meetings, and delivering presentations in English. Students learned strategies for organizing their thoughts, using appropriate language and tone, and effectively conveying their ideas to diverse audiences. By the end of the lesson, participants had acquired valuable skills that they could immediately apply in their professional lives, enhancing their ability to succeed in the global business landscape. In addition to the core lessons, the Air English Classroom alsooffered supplementary resources and activities throughout May to further support students' language learning journey. These included interactive quizzes and exercises to reinforce the concepts covered in the lessons, as well as opportunities for students to engage in peer-to-peer discussions and practice sessions. Energy Drinks-Good or Bad?-(2-1)-Can you get lasting energy from a drink?空中英語教室-2012-06-08[Medium]关键词:flunk,pass out, load, definitely, caffeine, boost, vibeHi,everybody, welcome to Studio Classroom Worldwide. Thanks for joining us today. My name is Steve.Well, where do you go,what do you do when you need extra energy? You go to the sofa for a nap.Do you go to the kitchen for a piece of fruit or a candy bar? Now, how about getting your energy from a can? That's right. This month,in our Studio Classroom VIEWPOINTS feature,we tackle the pros and cons of energy drinks.Energy drinks,in some form or another, have been around for ages. But have you noticed that in the last year or two, they really seemed to have exploded in number.Let's open our magazines to page22and meet this month's VIEWPOINTS friends Luke and Amy.Energy Drinks-Good or Bad?Can you get lasting energy from a drink?Hi,Amy.How are you doing? You look really tired!I'm so exhausted.I didn't sleep at all last night! Why?What were you doing?I was studying for my world history test.I started studying at11:00,and I didn't stop until8:00this morning.I don't want to flunk.Wow!How did you manage to concentrate for that many hours?I would have passed out on my books long before8:00this morning.Simple.I had an energy drink.Really?Do those drinks really help you study?I know they're loaded with sugar and caffeine.(Music).Hello,friends,thank you so much for joining us here in the studio. My name is Kaylah.(Background Noise). My name is Ryan.Um, Ryan, you look a little sleepy.Oh,yeah,I've felt a little tired.I don't think I got enough sleep last night.Well,I have an energy drink.Would you like to try it?Oh.Uh,well, actually,no thanks.I don't like to drink energy drinks. Why not?Well,we're going to talk a little bit about that today in our VIEWPOINTS article which is all about energy drinks:are they good or are they bad? That's right. Are they good or are they bad?Sometimes we'd like to have an energy drink just in case we need some extra energy. But our question is:Can you get lasting energy from just a drink? And that's a great question.OK.So in order to find out, we're going to look at a conversation between Luke and Amy.And we start off with Luke. And Luke says,"Hi,Amy.How are you doing? You look really tired."Now,first of all,I said Ryan looked a little sleepy. That's another way of saying,"You look tired."But Ryan,is that really polite?Uh,actually,it's usually not polite to tell someone that they look tired. That's another way of saying:You don't look very good right now. That's right. It's more polite than saying,"You look bad."But it's also very rude.So just be careful how you say it and who you say it to.Yeah.Maybe ask,"Do you feel OK?"And if they're tired, they'll let you know. But Luke asks Amy if she is tired. So she said,"Oh,I am.I'm so exhausted," which we remember means to be really tired.Well, why is she exhausted? She says,"I didn't sleep at all last night!"Now Ryan,I think I understand why she's tired.Right, you'resupposed to sleep every night. And usually depending on your age,you need to get about eight hours of sleep a night. That's right.Well,Luke has a good question:Why?What were you doing? Why were you awake that late? And that's a great question. Most of us need to get a lot of sleep, and if you're staying up late, there's probably a reason, especially if you didn't sleep at all.Now Amy has an answer that unfortunately many of us understand. She says:I was studying for my world history test.I started studying at11:00,and I didn't stop until8:00this morning.I don't want to flunk.Oh,dear!OK.So I think many of you have probably dealt with this at some point.I know I have. You have a huge test coming up or you have a lot of homework to do,so you stay up all night long because you don't want to flunk. That's right. Now"flunk"means to fail an exam...examination or a course of study. So you can flunk a test. That means you fail the test. But you can also fail a class or a course. That is to flunk.Wow.So you don't want to fail. You want to do well. But you end up spending a lot of time awake at night and that can actually be really bad for you.He says: Wow!How did you manage to concentrate for that many hours?I would have passed out on my books long before8:00this morning.OK.If you pass out, that means you are unconscious, which means you're not awake. And so he said:I would have fallen asleep much sooner than you would have. How did you stay awake?Simple.I had an energy drink.Oh,OK.Well,energy drinks can give you energy. So Luke says:Really?Do those drinks really help you study? Now that's a good question.Do they help you study or are they just keeping you awake?Right, that's a great question. He says,"I know they're loaded with sugar and caffeine."So he knows they can help you,uh,stay awake, but can they really help you study if they're loaded with that much sugar and caffeine?Well,to be loaded with something means to have a lot of it,to...contain a lot of something. So if you have a lot of money, you are loaded with money. These drinks have a lot of caffeine and sugar,so these drinks would say they are loaded with caffeine and sugar.Right.So they have a lot of caffeine and sugar. And we know sugar is very common in sweet things-sweet foods and sweet drinks.Uh,and caffeine,we think of usually coffee. It is a chemical you can find in some drinks and some foods that gives people a lot of energy;makes them very active. That's right. Now we can say that was a...Another word for caffeine would be it gives you energy,it's a stimulant,it makes you have a lot of energy,it keeps you awake. We drink coffee in the morning to help us wake up,and that has a lot of caffeine... caffeine.Unfortunately,we can become addicted to it.You can rely on it too much.So be careful how much caffeine you drink. And be careful how you drink it.Do you get caffeine from coffee or from energy drinks?Well, right now let's watch this interview. In my opinion,I don't like energy drinks because it gives me the shakes in my hands, and it also increases my heart rate. But I did have an interesting experience with energy drinks.I was at a job interview one day,and I was very tired,so I took half a bottle of those Red Bull shots. And I'm telling you,I was jumping off the walls and I was just talking so fast, and I couldn'tconcentrate.I was just looking all over the place.Well,it was obvious that I had too much energy and I was way too hyper. But you know what happened in the end?I was hired.I was hired as one of the clowns in a theme park. So,unless you want to be a clown,I suggest you stay away from energy drinks. When I study in university,I always stay up very late to finish my artworks.Sometimes I will buy energy drinks to keep me awake.I see the vitamin in drinks can help me be more efficient and keep me from the doctor. And yes,I finish my works in the morning with an exhausted body. But guess what?I need twelve hours of sleeping each day for three days to recover from only one all-night working. Is it worth it?No,I don't thinkso.OK.Welcome back. One popular energy drink has roughly a quarter cup of sugar per16 ounce can.I think that's equal to8sugar cubes, and you can check my math on that. And if you've never heard about how bad sugar is for your health,go back and review our April HEALTH article titled Sugar and Your Health.OK.Let's jump back into our conversation with Amy's next comment on line16.Energy Drinks-Good or Bad?In my opinion, they are very effective. The caffeine in the drink gives me a little energy boost. When I drink one,I don't feel tired or sleepy when I'm forced to study for hours on end.So you think they're pretty useful when you need to stay awake.Definitely.A lot of people in our class have been drinking them recently.Energy drinks are so in style right now.You should try one sometime!Yeah,I've seen a lot of commercials for energy drinks on TV and in magazines. The vibes are really cool. But I've also read that they are extremely unhealthy.(Music).Well,are energy drinks good or bad? We've learned that they have a lot of sugar and a lot of caffeine. We said they are loaded with those.Well,we know that's how you stay awake. The sugar energy as well as the caffeine that stimulates your brain so you stay awake. But do they really help you study?Hmm,that's the question Luke left us with before the break. And Amy answers by saying:In my opinion, they are very effective. So she says,"In my opinion..."This is a phrase we can use to say:I don't know for sure,or it's not a fact all over, but from what I think, this is what I think about,so in my opinion. She says she thinks they're very effective. So they work for her. That's what she says."And the caffeine in the drink,"she says,"gives me a little energy boost."Now the caffeine is what's going to give you the most energy in an energy drink or coffee, and that could help give you a nice boost. Now to boost something,it means to improve or increase something. So it is increasing or improving her energy level. So we can boost other things.Maybe you need to...You're feeling really sad and depressed, and your friend comes over and makes you laugh. They boost your energy, they boost your confidence by bringing some joy back to life.Yeah,to raise it quickly. Now,Amy continues to say:When I drink energy drinks,I don't feel tired or sleepy when I'm forced to study for hours on end.And I know many ofyou sometimes are forced to study for hours on end. That's right, and that's our Grammar on the Go sentence,so let's visit Liz.Hi,there, friends, greetings from Toronto,Canada.I hope you're all doing well today. My name is Liz,and it's time for Grammar on the Go.So we're talking about energy drinks in today's VIEWPOINTS article and whether they're good or bad.A lot of people question the benefits of energy drinks, but there are many who really believe energy drinks are great, especially for those who have to work for a long time and are feeling tired. We read in today's article:When I drink one,I don't feel tired or sleepy when I'm forced to study for hours on end. That's our Grammar Tip sentence.Notice the phrase at the end of the sentence:on end. It's an idiom that means"continuously or without stopping."So today's sentence just means:When I drink an energy drink,I don't feel tired or sleepy when I'm forced to study for a very long time. This idiom is usually found in informal conversations when people want to describe situations that continue for a very long time. For example,Alice is depressed because it has been raining for weeks on end.Or,Linda has been having trouble with her computer for days on end;I think she should have it checked. So give this idiom a try next time when you want to talk about how something has been going on continuously. And if you like to see some more example sentences, you can check out today's Grammar Tip section in your Studio Classroom magazine. That's all the time we have for today. This is Liz with Grammar on the Go signing off in Toronto.Bye-bye.Thank you,Liz.So Amy says she gets a nice energy boost from energy drinks. And Luke says:Well,so you think they're pretty useful when you need to stay awake. That's right. We know she needs to stay awake because she's studying for hours on end.Yeah,so,and like many of you,you might be forced to study...for hours on end.And if you're forced to do something, that means you are made to do it.Someone is telling you that you need to do that.Or you feel like you are not prepared enough and you have to stay awake. That can be the other way that you're forced into studying for hours on end.Amy says this definitely helps her.She uses the word"definitely"in the beginning. Now what does that mean? All right. The word"definitely"means"absolutely;without any doubt."So she says yes, sure, the energy drinks do help her stay awake. Now we see that that is a full sentence all by itself. So it's an expressive way of saying it.You would say, "Definitely,"because you completely believe it without any doubt that this is true.Mmhm, that's right. And so you use that word to express that.Uh,but Amy continues to say,"A lot of people in our class have been drinking them recently."So a lot of people...I know a lot of you, maybe your friends, drink energy drinks. And they're so in style right now. That's right. So if something is in style, that means it's very popular, people are using that product a lot.Now if you are a student and are studying late at night,or you're professional and you work late hours and are up early in the morning, energy drinks are very tempting.Or even if you're an athlete, sometimes you are tempted by them. She's so convinced that they're good. She says that we should definitely try them. You should try it once sometime.Yeah,OK,so she thinks energy drinks are wonderful;they are in style;people like them. She thinks it helps her study,so she recommends that Luke should have some too.But Luke continues saying now.He says,"Well, yeah,I've seen a lot of commercials for energy drinks on TV and in magazines."They are popular. That's right. They are very popular. We see advertisements for them all the time.So we can...You know,we even think about some of the big brands:Monster brand or Red Bull.We all know that Red Bull gives you wings. It's a very famous phrase that we know from advertising. So we are familiar with them.We know what they are.Right.And he continues to say the vibes of energy drinks are really cool. Now the word"vibes"describes the character or the mood of something. That's right. We can use vibes when we talk about music as well.It gives me good vibes. It makes me feel good. It's a cool rhythm. So energy drinks have good, cool vibes. But I've also read that they're extremely unhealthy. He's making a great point right here at the end of today's article.OK,yeah, and this is,I think, the biggest problem with energy drinks. So we're just now starting to get talking about this. And we're going to continue talking about how healthy energy drinks are tomorrow. That's right. But for right now,we need to jump on over and visit Ken in the Chat Room.Hi,this is Bryan calling from the library. Is Donna Jones there?Oh.If you see her,can you tell her to return The Joy of Cooking?Yeah,it's overdue, and there's a person requesting it.OK.Thank you very much.Good-bye now.Hey,Bryan, are you looking for Donna Jones?Yes,one of the books she checked out is overdue, and someone wants to borrow it.She was in the library lately.I saw her the other day.She was?Oh,if you see her again, tell her I'm looking for her.Sure, of course.Uh,Ken,you should have just said she was in the library recently, not lately.Recently?Doesn't"recently"mean the same thing as"lately"?Yes,they do have the same meaning, but they are used differently. When we talk about a single action or event, we should use"recently".So seeing Donna in the library was a single event? That's right. You just saw her one time, right?Right.Just the other day.I saw her on the second floor. So she was in the library recently.OK.What about"lately"?"Lately"is used with continuous actions.Let's say, you've seen Donna in the library many times this past week. Then you can say she has been coming to the library a lot lately. So I can't say "recently"?Well, actually, you can.In this case, both"lately"and"recently"would work.So from your perspective, what should you say:I haven't seen Donna lately,or I haven't seen Donna recently?Either one is fine because"recently"can refer to a single event or continuous events in the near past. The thing to remember is that when you talk about a single event that happened in the near past, you can only use"recently".Thanks, Bryan. You know,I was eating a pizza recently and thought of you.Yep,you've got it, Ken.(Chinese).Hi,everyone,I'm Michelle.(Chinese).And we're running out of time.Don't forget to come back tomorrow.Bye-bye.Thank you,Michelle. We appreciate those tips all the time.So Luke leaves us with the thought that energy drinks can be extremelyunhealthy. No doubt he's been reading stuff on the Internet that says energy drinks can create or complicate problems like diabetes, heart attacks, psychological disorders, and yes, even death.Friends, what this means is you need to do more homework before you get into the habit of getting your energy from a can.OK.We'll continue this VIEWPOINTS discussion tomorrow.Until then, have a wonderful day.(Music).。

It is almost 93 meters tall, one of the tallest statues ever built. Its complete name is "Liberty Enlightening the World".The Statue of Liberty was a gift to the people of the United States from the people of France. It was an expression of friendship and the goal of liberty shared by the people of both countries. The statue was designed and built in France. France officially presented the statue to the United States Minister to France in Paris on July 4th, 1884. The statue was then taken apart and sent to the United States. New York City celebrated with a huge parade. Since then, the Statue of Liberty has been a symbol of freedom for people all over the world.17. Universities' Grading SystemsMost American colleges and universities use the grading system of A, B, C, D and F. An A is worth four points, a B three points, a C two points and a D one point. Getting a grade like a B-plus or a C-minus adds or subtracts a few tenths of a point. An F is a failing grade worth zero toward a student's grade point average.A small number of colleges reject the traditional grading system. They are organized into programs taught by teams of professors. Each program brings together different subjects and extends in length over 2 or 3 quarters. Students are required to do a major research project at the end of each program. The professors write detailed evaluations of the students. These are combined with evaluations written by the students themselves. Most teachers would probably agree that traditional grades are sometimes unfair. But professors at big schools say there is not enough time to write evaluations for each student in large classes.18. Strange FestivalsEvery country has its strange festivals. Cheese Rolling is a much-loved event traditionally held in Britain. Participants chase an eight-pound cheese down a long slope, hoping to catch it and become the champion. In Spain, baby jumping is a famous ritual, in which local men jump over all the babies born that year. It is believed to rid the babies of sin and serves as a kind of baptism. There is a naked festival held at various times in Japan. Wearing just a small piece of cloth, the freezing participants run around a city, competing for lucky charms. From chasing cheeses to running naked, it is hard to explain where most of these ideas came from and what they mean to us now. However, they are part of our cultures. Despite our different traditions, languages and histories, we do seem to have one thing in common: our love of celebrations.19. Teaching AssistantsForeign students at American colleges and universities may earn money after they successfully complete an entry-level study program. Those wishing to continue their education could work as a teaching assistant, or T.A.A teaching assistant usually works about twenty hours each week. Teaching assistants are paid to help professors teach students in entry-level studyprograms.Generally, the professor gives a talk, or lecture, to a large group of students one or two times a week. The teaching assistant meets with smaller groups of students during the week. The T.A. gives tests and reads any homework or reports the students may be required to write.Teaching assistants also meet with students who seek help. They attend teaching meetings. And some working with science professors help to organize laboratory equipment. Most American colleges and universities must honor legal requirements when employing foreign students as teaching assistants. One of these is that the T.A. must speak English well.20. American Education SystemThe education system in the United States is controlled by state and local governments. But education laws are similar in each state. For example, in all 50 states and 6 territories, all children must attend school from the age of 6 or 7 to the age of 16. Public schools are free of charge for grades 1 through 12. Private schools also operate in all states and territories. Some private schools are operated by churches and religious groups. Other private schools are not linked to any religious organization. Private schools must be approved by the state in which they operate. Most private schools do not receive government money. The parents of private school students pay the school. The school year usually begins in September and continues until June. Most states require a school year of 180 days. Some schools have changed this schedule and require students to attend school throughout the year.21. ThanksgivingThe American Thanksgiving, by law on the fourth Thursday of November, has a long tradition in the United States. The firstAmerican Thanksgiving occurred in 1621, with early North American settlers celebrating their first harvest after a harsh winter in the new world. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln made it an official holiday. Today, Thanksgiving serves as a day for family gatherings with luxurious turkey feasts, accompanied by a wide array of side dishes and pies. So this holiday is one of the busiest times for travel in America. Millions of people travel by car, train, or air, to feast with family. Besides, other traditional Thanksgiving events are prominent in the United States as well, including religious services and key youth and professional football games. What's more, the US president pardons a single turkey every year on this holiday. It is a tradition begun by former president Harry Truman in 1947.22. Music in British SchoolsMusic plays a big part in British schools. Pupils can learn an instrument at school. Traditionally, school children learn classical instruments. Younger children often learn the recorder. As they get older, they start to play the violin or piano. In fact, nearly one out of five music students is learning the violin. The piano, or keyboard, is more popular with older children at secondary school. However, more pupils than ever before are now learning the guitar, as they think playing the guitar is cool. British schools do not just offer lessons for instruments, but they have music classes for all pupils. In the past, the focus of classes was very much Western classical music. But the classes now cover a far wider range of styles, including folk music and world music. Many schools have orchestras and put on concerts each term. It is also common for pupils themselves to form their own bands.23. University DaysBritish universities start in September or October. Courses normally last 3 years, but some, such as languages, engineering or medicine, can take much longer to complete. Students usually go to university in a different town, so they need to get used to living alone, paying bills and washing their own clothes! For many, this is a difficult time, but everyone soon becomes used to it!Universities in Britain used to be free, but many students now have to pay for part of their course. Similarly, students used to receive a grant from the government. Nowadays, they have to apply for student loans or take part-time jobs. Either way, it can be difficult and many students have money problems.University life is not just about studying, however. Many students take part in drama productions or play music. Others, of course, take part in a wide range of sports, such as football, rugby and cricket.24. Test of English as a Foreign LanguageIt is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 8,000 colleges and universities in more than 130 countries. It is called TOEFL, which stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. TOEFL is an important test for foreign students who want to study inAmerica. More than 4,000 American universities and other schools require students seeking admission to take the test. Each year, nearly a million individuals of all ages take the TOEFL test to demonstrate their English-language proficiency. It measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your four skills, listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks. There are two formats for the TOEFL test. The format you take depends on the location of your test center. Nowadays, most testtakers take the Internet-based Test. Test centers that do not have Internet access offer the Paper-based Test. 25. In-service Education and Vocational DevelopmentMany people feel that finding a job successfully is the end of their schooling. This idea is rarely true, however, as each field of work requires a thorough knowledge of it. This may go beyond what could be learned in high school or university. Universities, with their complete curriculum, are intended to first teach us about everything. Later studies fill in the gap of knowledge by offering more specialized courses. Universities, however, are meant to teach the theories of any particular field, not the practical knowledge needed to do our jobs. Vocational schools has risen to fill this gap of practical knowledge. Vocational schools can aid us in this by teaching us to be especially good at one thing. If a person has enough health and energy, as well as determination, he may go to night school to take a self-teaching program.26. DictionaryA dictionary is a reference book that focuses on defining words and phrases, including multiple meanings. The most frequently used dictionary is a language dictionary that includes the majority of frequently used words in a language. Language dictionaries are made for different types of users: scholars, office workers, schools, and second language learners. There are many competing dictionaries put out by different companies. Not only do they have different forms - paperback, hardback, and online editions - but they differ in other ways. Each company, for example, uses its own version of phonetic respelling based on the research done by its experts. Other differences between dictionaries showup in other features. Many dictionaries include their experts' guidance on grammar, usage, and the history of the language. Definitions differ slightly, and sample sentences may be the work of the editorial staff or taken from real-world usage, perhaps the first known written use.27. The Graduation CeremonyIn American high schools and colleges, the last day of the school year is graduation day. The students who finish their last year in the school will graduate. The graduation ceremony is often in the school gymnasium. The people who come to watch the graduation are teachers, parents and friends of the graduates. Those students who will graduate will wear long robes and caps with square tops. The graduate who has the best record in school will make a speech. The school principal and other officials will also make speeches. Then each graduate will receive a diploma or a degree, which has his name and the name of the school. After the ceremony, students often chat with their teachers, friends and relatives who come to congratulate them. They take pictures of eachother and will show each other these pictures a few nights later at the graduation party. Graduation is a memorable event.28. The International Student Exchange ProgramThe International Student Exchange Program, or ISEP, was started in 1979. ISEP is a group of colleges and universities around the world. They cooperate to provide international educational experiences for their students.Students can study for up to one year in the United States or any of the other countries involved. They do not have to go through the usual application process to get into a school. And they pay only what they would have to pay for a term at theirown school at home.To take part in the ISEP program, students must attend a member college or university. Each school has an ISEP coordinator, who helps students apply to the ISEP office in Washington, D.C. To be accepted, students must have good grades. They are asked to list up to ten choices of American schools they would like to attend. Officials at the ISEP office then place students in the openings offered in colleges and universities.29. On-campus HousingHousing policies differ from school to school in American universities. Some schools have limited housing or none at all.Dormitory buildings might house a small number of students or many hundreds. Some dorms have suites. A suite has several bedrooms, a common area and a bathroom. Other dorms have rooms along a common hallway. Two, three or four students might share a room.Males and females often live on different floors of the same building. Or they might live on the same floor, or in some cases even share a suite if permitted. But single-sex housing is usually also available.Different groups and organizations such as fraternities might have their own houses where their members live. And there is often housing for married students. Some dorms are nice, others are not so nice. But many students say they like the chance to make friends and be near their classes.30. Working While Studying in the USInternational students are permitted to work for the college or university they attend or for a business at the school. But thebusiness must directly provide a service to students. You could work at the bookstore, for example, but not for a construction company that is building something on campus. Also, a foreign student cannot displace an American citizen in a job.Foreign students normally cannot take a job that has no connection to their school. But the government may give permission if students are suddenly faced with a situation that is out of their control. Examples include large medical bills, the loss of financial aid or an unexpected change in the financial condition of their source of support.Students must also meet other conditions. They must have attended their American school for at least one year. Government approval is given on a case-by-case basis. Students must re-apply after a year if they want to continue an off-campus job.。

空中英语教室 2011年 01月 07日全文听写文稿(Music). Hello, everyone. Welcome to Studio Classroom Worldwide. Thanks for joining us today. My name is Steve. And my name is Hazel. And today, we're having a quiz. A quiz? Oh, no. Oh, yes! A quiz about soccer. Ah! Soccer! Well, that will be easy because I know everything there is to know about soccer. Oh, really? Well, here's question number one: How many players are on a soccer team? Easy! 10 players. Huh? Plus the goalie. Everybody knows that. Right. OK. Question two:A soccer match has two periods. How long is each period?45 minutes. And the periods are called halves. Ah, very good. Question three: What is Asia's top soccer team?Um, sorry, Hazel. You're going to have to wait for that answer. Wait? Why do we need to wait?本资源由空中英语教室论坛独家分享,更多英文资料就在Because first, we need to see who wins the Asian Cup. The Asian Cup? That's right. Friends, turn to page 18 in your magazines and you'll find out all about it.Determining Asia's Best.Asia's biggest soccer tournament starts today. Today, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) begins one of the world's foremost soccer tournaments. In the AFC Asian Cup, Asia's top 16 national teams will contend to be the region's best. How it all got started. The AFC organizes the Asian Cup every four years. Stretching from Australia to Lebanon, this confederation is the most widereaching of FIFA's six confederations. The AFC began in 1954 with 12 participating nations. As soccer, called football in most countries, grew in popularity throughout Asia, so did the confederation.Hi, friends and welcome to Studio Classroom. I'm Chelsea. And I'm Brandon. We're so glad that you've joined us here today for our SPORTS article. Today, we're talking about Determining Asia's Best. And we see the word determining there, that just means finding out something, so we're going to find out Asia's best. And we're talking about the world of soccer. This is a SPORTS article that we have here today. And we see there in the deck: Asia's biggest soccer tournament starts today. Now we talk about soccer a lot here on Studio Classroom. And I always enjoy these articles because I don't know very much about the sport. So I hope that all of us can learn today about this special tournament. Our article begins by saying: Today, the Asian Football Confederation, also known as the AFC, begins one of the world's foremost soccer tournaments. Now we see that word "foremost" there. If something is "foremost," that means it's the most important, or the most popular of something. So this is a very important soccer tournament, and it begins today. That's right. And we see next, in the AFC Asian Cup, Asia's top 16 national teams will contend to be the region's best. We see the word contend there, that just means that they are going to compete. So all of these teams, they are coming together to play soccer. And of course, they all want to win the tournament, so they're going to compete against one another. So 16 national teams, that means there are 16 different countries or 16 different nations that are competing or contending against one another to try to be the champions of this tournament. Well, before we look at the tournament itself, let's learn how it all got started. It started many years ago, but we read first that the AFC organizes the Asian Cup every four years. Now this sounds a little bit, to me, like the World Cup or the Olympic Games. It seems like a lot of these big athletic events happen every four years. That's right. I was also thinking of the Olympics, Chelsea. It happens every four years, not something that happens every year, so it is really important to soccer fans, and to the players as well. And we get a little bit more background here. We see: Stretching from Australia to Lebanon, this confederation is the most widereaching of FIFA's six confederations. And we see the term there, the word there, stretching, it's the idea of going from point A to point B. So it goes from Australia to Lebanon. And you see the term "FIFA" there underlined. If you remember, FIFA is just the organising body, the body of people who oversee professional soccer throughout the world. They oversee the six confederations. This one, of course, being the most widereaching, as it stretches from Australia to Lebanon. Now that is our Grammar on the Go sentence today. So let's visit Liz right now and see what she can teach us.【Grammar on the Go】Hi, there, friends. How are you doing today? My name is Liz and I'm in Dubai right now. And I'll be traveling on to Qatar soon to watch FIFA's Asian Cup. According to our writer: Stretching from Australia to Lebanon, this confederation is the most widereaching of FIFA's six confederations. That's our Grammar Tip sentence for today. And notice how the sentence begins with the phrase, stretching from Australia to Lebanon. The word "stretching" is normally used to talk about making something wider or longer, like: If you pull the shirt, you can stretch it.But in the case of today's sentence, the writer uses "stretch" in a different way. Obviously, this area doesn't have arms or legs for it to stretch from Australia to Lebanon, but it's a fun way to describe how wide an area is. This creative use of "stretch" can be used to talk about how "long" something is. For example, we can say: Stretching from northern Peru to the Atlantic Ocean, the Amazon River is the world's secondlongest river. Or we can say: The Rocky Mountains of North America stretch from Alaska to Mexico. So next time when you're doing some creative writing and need to describe something wide or long, try using stretch. And if you'd like to see some other examples using stretch, you can check out today's Grammar Tip section in your Studio Classroom magazine. That's it for today. Time for me to head on over to Qatar. This is Liz with Grammar on the Go, signing off, in Dubai. See you next time. Thanks, Liz. Well, we've been talking about the Asian Football Confederation and we're going to get some more history right now. We see next, the AFC began in 1954 with 12 participating nations. So we see that it began a long time ago and it has 12 participating nations. There are 12 nations that... participate in this confederation. And if you "participate" in something, that just means that you take part in an activity or an event. So, as we see here in the beginning, when it started in 1954, there were only 12 participating nations. In other words, there were 12 countries who took part in this event, in this confederation. And now we know that today, it has grown to 16 nations. So, it has grown a lot over the years. There are many more participating nations today because probably it's because a lot of people love soccer around the world. That's right. Huge sport. Soccer is so huge around the world. So many people are participating in the sport. I'm sure many of our viewers, maybe you, participate in this game, or maybe participate in some other game. But that word "participate" there just means that you're taking part, you're getting involved in the game. So as soccer, which is called football in most countries, grew in popularity throughout Asia, so did the confederation. We've kind of already talked about that a little bit. Now Brandon, I have a question for you. Have you ever participated in soccer or football? Now we know that soccer is called football in most countries. But in the country we come from, America, there's something else called football, right?本资源由空中英语教室论坛独家分享,更多英文资料就在That's right. I've never participated in soccer, which is called football in most nations. But I have participated in American football, which is very different from soccer. American football, of course, you actually throw the ball with your hand and it's mostly played in America. And with American football, you wear a lot of padding on you because it's often very large men who are running into each other and falling over on the ground. So it's quite different than soccer, which is kicked... uh, it's a ball that's kicked with the foot primarily and the players don't wear padding, so, quite different. But we do know that soccer is very, very popular not just throughout Asia as we see here, but also throughout the entire world. In fact, we've learned before at Studio Classroom that it is the most popular sport in the world. And so it's no wonder that it is popular in Asia as well. Well, right now we're going to take a break. But before we do, let's visit the Chat Room.【Chat Room】Hi, Rachel. Hi, Ken. Did you go to the grocery store? No. I bought these at the farmers market. Oh. The farmers market in town is really good. I love buying fresh vegetables. I do too. I also like it that it is right outside the town. But you know, the market can be really loud sometimes. Well, do you know why it is that way? It is because all of the vendors want my business. They always contend for my business. Ken, do you mean to say "contend" for your business? "Contend" for my business? Is that how you pronounce that word? Yes. The stress is on the second syllable, "contend". If you say "contend," people might think you're referring to content, content. Wait. Isn't that word pronounced "content"? Well, that's using it as an adjective. To be content means to be satisfied. Well, I'm satisfied once I buy the food. Yes. But are the vendors trying to satisfy you or convince you to buy their food? Well, when they're yelling, it is so that, you know, I will buy their food. Right. So they "contend" for your business. But a baby is "content" when he is fed. That makes sense. So "contend" means to win something? That's right. To contend is to compete to win something. And when we say someone had to contend with something, we mean they have to fight in order to win. For example, the child had to contend with the dog for the rope. The child had to fight the dog for the rope.I like that. Spain and Holland soccer teams had to contend for the World Cup last year. Good example. And now here's a sentence using "content." The child was content playing with the babysitter while her parents were away. OK. That makes sense. Next time I go to the market, I would know who is contending for my business by how loud the market is. Thanks, Rachel. No problem. (Chinese).Welcome back, everyone. We're learning about the Asian Cup. Right. It's one of the world's foremost soccer tournaments. And it starts today. 16 teams will contend to be the world's best. Right. If you love soccer, you'll love the Asian Cup. And you'll love today's lesson. So let's continue down on line 14.Determining Asia's Best.Today, the AFC claims 46 member nations representing over half the world's population! AFC tournaments started in Hong Kong in 1956 with Korea Republic winning the first two. In the 1960s, victories shifted to the Middle East where they stayed until the 1990s. Japan brought triumph back to the Far East in 1992, winning three of the next four championships. Who will win this year's Asian Cup? The next 32 games will answer that.Well, we've been talking, again, about soccer today, and we particularly been talking about the AFC. And we continue with: Today, the AFC claims 46 member nations representing over half the world's population. We have the word "representing" there. You can think of players, they go and represent their team, they go and they play for their particular country. So there are many nations that are involved in this whole confederation. But only 16 countries are actually represented at this tournament. I think it's really fascinating that these 46 member nations make up over half of the world's population. So we know that Asia is very populated. And these soccer players... it's very... a very big sport there. And so it's very interesting that over half the world's population is represented in this, this portion of the world. That's right. And it gives us an idea of how big this sport really is because there're so many nations involved and there are so many people who are playing. We see next: AFC tournaments started in Hong Kong in 1956 with Korea Republic winning the first two. So we see there a little bit of the background and who won these tournaments. And it continues with: In the 1960s, victories shifted to the Middle East. And we see the word "shifted" there. That just... means it moved, it moved from one place to another. So although this all got started in 1954, it took a couple of years before they were actually playing tournament games. And we do see that the victory shifted from one part of Asia to another part of Asia. And they have been in the Middle East, the champions, uh, from the 1960s through the 1990s. But then we see that Japan shows up and they brought triumph back to the Far East in 1992. And it goes on to tell us, Brandon, how many tournaments did they win? Well, it sees... We see there that winning three of the next four championships. So there were four championships there and they actually won three of them. So we know that they were a very good team. And we... we see the question: Who will win this year's Asian Cup? And maybe you're thinking the same thing, who is going to win? Well, we have to wait and find out. You know, as I said at the beginning of this program, I don't know very much about soccer. But I have to admit, over the last year I've gotten very interested in it. I watched a lot of the World Cup that took place in South Africa. And so, who knows? Maybe I'll find myself tuning in to some of these AFC games here for determining Asia's best.I'm kind of curious to know who the champions are going to be this year's as well. I'm also curious, Chelsea. I've not been in... that into soccer before. But as you said, the World Cup that recently occurred, it kind of got me into soccer a little bit. And so I'm interested to see who is going to win this tournament. And we see that the next 32 games will answer that. And so we have to wait and see who will win. We have to watch each of the games and see who will come out on top. So we本资源由空中英语教室论坛独家分享,更多英文资料就在have 16 teams from 16 different nations. And once these teams qualify for this tournament, there are 32 games total that are played. Now that does not mean that every single team plays 32 games as we'll see in our next section tomorrow. But there are 32 games that have to be played in order to determine who is going to be the champion of this tournament. That's right, Chelsea. So we've learned today how this tournament all got started. We learned that soccer is really popular around the world. And maybe many of our viewers, maybe you, play soccer, so you are very interested in this particular article. Well, we hope that you'll continue to follow this story and find out who is going to actually win this tournament. We hope that today that you have learned some new words that can help you talk about this subject in English, especially using the word participate. That is an important word to remember today. You participate in a sport, and you can participate in many different activities. And we hope that you will participate in watching these games this year. In fact, if you like to participate in a sport, why don't you write us and tell us about it at letters@. We will love to hear the sports that you participate in. Perhaps you're even a person who enjoys playing soccer. If that's you, then let us know about it. Let us know how you got involved in that sport. That's right, Chelsea. And if you look on page 18, you'll find... that you'll see players both from the UAE and Malaysia. They played in the Asian Cup qualifying match, and the UAE won that game and that earned them a spot in the 2011 Asia Cup Finals. So you can look for the UAE in this tournament. So it will be interesting to see who wins this year's tournament. Perhaps it will be the United Arab Emirates, who knows? It might be somebody else. All we know is there are 16 teams who have been practicing and getting ready for a long time for this big tournament that takes place in Asia. We have plenty more to tell you about this tournament tomorrow. We hope you've enjoyed our article today. And we will go to Michelle to learn her Language Tips before we go today. So we'll see you next time back here on Studio Classroom. Have a great day.【Language Tips】(Chinese). And don't shift your attention to anywhere else. Stay tuned for more.Well, here we are, learning about the Asian Cup. Right. This article will tell you everything you've ever wanted to know. Well, everything except who the winning team will be. Oh, right. Friends, you'll have to watch the Asian Cup to find that out. Yes. Enjoy watching the games and enjoy watching Studio Classroom. See you next time. Goodbye, friends. (Music).。

have really big seeds called"pits."6162Yes,yes,they certainly do.Uh,Rebecca?63They are delicious, especially mango shaved ice.6465That's so good.Yes,you're right about that.6667Well,how much do I know about mangoes?68They take...they take three to six months to ripen.69What?To ripen,to become ripe.7071Well,you just used a word from our Word Bank.72Cha-ching!The word is"ripe."73If a fruit is"ripe,"it is fully developed or mature.74Now,do you know what the opposite of"ripe"is?7576I do.It's"unripe."7778That's right.79There's nothing fancy about that word. You just add a U-N to the beginning of"ripe"and talk about the fruit that is not 80ready to eat.81It's unripe.8283And we could also call unripe fruit"green."So if you hear someone say"the fruit is still green,"you know that they mean it is 84not ripe yet.85It has not yet ripened.8687And now we've come right back to the word you used earlier:"ripen."88And if something is"ripening,"like fruit, cheese or wine,it is in the process of becoming ripe.8990Well,now that we've talked all about the word"ripe,"we...91Actually,no,we haven't.There's a related word that I think you should know.9293And what's that,Gabe? It's the word"overripe."94Ah,yes.This is how you describe fruit that is too ripe or past the normal time for 95eating.9697"Overripe fruit"is fruit that is starting to go bad.But not all overripe fruit is bad to eat,right?9899Right.Actually,my mom says banana bread tastes best when you make it with bananas that are overripe.100101Now is that really true?102Uh,my mom said it,of course it's true.Well,I guess I'll just have to try that sometime.103104OK.So now have we talked all about the word"ripe"?Hmm...yeah,I think so.105Great.106107Let's go to the sentence that says some people call mangoes the"king of fruit." 108Now without looking at your magazine, can you spell the plural form of"mango"?Can you spell"mangoes,"Carolyn?109Uh,M-A-N-G-O-S?110111No,you're wrong. It's M-A-N-G-O-E-S.112You forgot the E,Carolyn.113No,Gabe.114115Actually,she didn't forget anything. She didn't?116117No.You can spell the plural form of"mango"either with an E or without one. 118"Mangoes,"M-A-N-G-O-E-S,or"mangos,"M-A-N-G-O-S.119See,Gabe?Cha-ching.120What do you mean,C?121122There's no C in mangoes.Anyway.There's something here that I would like to focus on.123124And that is the"king of fruit."Who calls mango the"king of fruit"?125I've never called it that before.126127Well,actually,that's what they call it in India. That's so cool, the king of fruit.128Well,let's talk about something else from this sentence, the pattern:[some do 129something while others do something else.]130131Can we use that pattern in other ways?132Well,sure.Some prefer exercising outdoors while others would rather exercise in a gym. 133134Or...Some people like sweet desserts while others like savory ones.135Great examples.136Well,let's join Liz now in the Grammar Gym where she awaits.Hi there,friends.137138How are you all doing today?139My name is Liz.And thanks for joining me here at the Grammar Gym.Here's our Grammar Tip sentence for today:140141"Those who love mangoes anxiously await the first ripe ones of the season." 142Notice the word"await."It means"to wait for."143Now since"await"means"to wait for,"you don't need the word"for"after 144"await."145146So,"You can await the first ripe mangoes of the season,"or"You can wait for the 147first ripe mangoes of the season."Now"The people awaited the coming of spring,"or"The people waited for spring 148149to come."150You can tell someone,"I await good news,"or you can say,"I'm waiting for good 151news."152One more thing, notice the sentence:153The driver walked into the lobby where people were waiting.154Now in this case,"waiting"is at the end of the sentence. Also notice that there is no object, who or what the people were waiting for is not 155mentioned.156157So if your sentence ends with this action of waiting, and there is no clear object, 158then use"wait"and not"await."That's all the time we have for today.159Thanks again for joining me here.160161This is Liz from the Grammar Gym.See you next time.162163Thank you,Liz.164OK.So the mango is the national fruit of India and the Philippines.165And many countries have national birds, songs, animals and other things like 166that.And did you know that Taiwan's national flower is the plum blossom,Carolyn? 167168Well,that is a very lovely flower,Gabe. Now back to mangoes.169I found the next fact very interesting.170171A mango tree can live up to300years.172Yep.Gabe,that's even older than you.173Yes,it is even older than me.174175(Chinese).176Well,I do like that pattern here:[something can do up to an amount.]You could say,"Elephants can eat up to300pounds of food a day."177Or you could say,"Gabe could live up to300years."178179Why is that funny?I think that's a great idea.180181And I think it's time for a little break.182Hello,and welcome back to Studio Classroom.183Let's continue by learning some cool mango facts.184And then we have a little treat for you. It's Mango Time!185186*Countries that are major mango producers include Mexico,Egypt,Pakistan, 187Brazil,Indonesia,Australia and Israel.*A cup of the fruit has only100calories and is nearly fat-free.188*Mangoes are a vital food source for millions of people.189190*One cup of mango contains100percent of the daily requirement for vitamin C. 191*Mangoes contain over20vitamins and minerals, making them a"superfood."*The fruit can be eaten raw, cooked, dried or canned.192So treat yourself to a mouthwatering mango today!193(Chinese).194195Now let's go back to our teachers.Thanks,Michelle.196197Now,did you notice how this lesson is formated in your magazine? That's right.Bullet points.198Let's see what Steve and Ken have to say about this in the Information Cloud. 199If you're looking for a new and interesting way to present information in an article 200201or report, consider using"bullet points."202Traditionally,bullet points are just simple black dots. Now I know,I know, they don't really look like bullets.203204They look more like bullet holes.205Today,though,people are getting pretty creative using just about any 206typographical symbol available as a bullet point, like a lower-case letter O,an asterisk,a hyphen,a check mark or a tiny little mango.207Mmhm.Bullet points are often used in blog posts,PowerPoint presentations and 208technical writings.209210You'll even see them used in advertisements and on product packages and 211labels.People use bullet points because they're visually attractive.212They draw attention to important information that readers and shoppers can 213214digest quickly.215Right.A bullet point is most effective when it's brief,a short phrase or a single sentence 216217statement like a newspaper headline.218Besides that, there're really no fix rules on how to use bullet points. But there are guidelines so check your English stylebook.219And I know we say this is a lot,but if you use bullet points too much, they will lose 220221their effectiveness.(Chinese).222Thanks,guys.223224Well,I know many of you love mangoes, but how do you eat your mangoes?Well, now it's time for our little treat.225It's a video:Four Ways to Cut a Mango.226Listen carefully.227228(Music).Now the task at hand is separating the fruit from the pit.229230Now you can tell by the shape of the mango the way the pit is situated inside the 231fruit.I'm going to show you four ways to access this deliciousness, starting with the 232messiest and ending with my favorite.233234For this first way, you're going to need a peeler and a knife.235So I'm gonna take my mango, and I'm just gonna start peeling, just like I would a 236potato or a carrot. Now this way is actually giving you the most bang for your buck because we're 237going so close to the skin.238OK.So here's our peeled mango.239240Of course you could eat like this, but it gets a little messy,so keeping in mind the shape of our pit we're going to cut around it.241242So.243So I'm literally gonna follow the curve of the pit.244OK,so here is just basically the pit.And we have two large halves and two small sides.245246Now you can just slice as you see fit.247You can do big slices like this.248You can cube it,whatever you'd like.249For the second way,all you're gonna need is a knife.250And what we're gonna do is take the mango, and cut a slice out of it.So we're gonna cut along the pit.251That's gonna be what stops our knife into these kind of wedges.252253Might you go a couple of times with your knife just to be sure you get it out. 254Voila!Look at that--a great way for kids to eat it.Remember we used to do this with the orange slices?255Mmm.256257And you can just cut around the whole entire pit and make slices out of it.258For this third way,we're gonna cut along the pit and cut off a whole half.So you've got your half.259Now you want to keep it in your hand and start slicing it.260261You want to slice your knife through all the way to the tip of the skin without 262going through it and of course not hurting your hand.Next, you want to cut across the other way,so you're creating a kind of a 263checkerboard.264Then peel it back, and you see you got cubes here.265You literally can just pop these off,and they're in little cubes.266Or you can take your knife and just slice right against the skin, and you've got 267your cubed mango.268269This fourth and final way is my favorite because it's the easiest.270You're just gonna cut your mango in half like you did earlier along the pit.Grab a spoon and just dive in like this is your bowl of ice cream.271272(Music).Well,how do you cut your mangoes,Gabe?273274I don't.275I eat them dry.276Well,friends,let's join Linda for the Editor's Summary right after we watch a review skit.277278Oh!What fruit is this? It's a mango.279Some people call it the"king of fruit."280Mmm!I call it"delicious"!281282This tastes great.283Not only do they taste great but mangoes are good for you.Well,I like that.284A cup of mangoes only contains100calories.285286It's nearly fat-free.That's good news.287And it contains100percent of the daily requirement for vitamin C.288289That's wonderful.290They contain over20vitamins and minerals. So it's a superfood.291That's right.292293Mangoes are a vital food source for millions of people.294Where do mangoes come from?Lots of places.295296Several countries are major mango producers. They've been declared the national fruit for both India and the Philippines. 297Hmm.Well,I can see why.298299Well,I can taste why.300I really like this new fruit.Oh,mangoes aren't new.301They've been cultivated for5,000years.302303Really!Now that's a long time. And speaking of a long time, mango trees can live up to300years.304Wow.Mangoes are amazing.305Mangoes can be eaten raw, cooked, dried, even canned.306307Wow!This is really, really great.Well, treat yourself to some mouthwatering mango right now.308309It's the king of fruit.310And I'm the queen of fruit-eaters!Yeah.311Today's article talks about the king of fruit--mango.In fact, both India and the Philippines have declared it their national fruit. 312313We learned a lot of facts about mangoes today.314Did you know that mango is almost totally fat-free?And in fact, one cup only has100calories.315316And while mangoes may be low in calories, they are high in vitamin C.One cup meets the daily requirement for vitamin C.317And you can eat it in so many different ways:raw, cooked, dried or canned. 318319Making me hungry.I think I'm going to get some of this mouthwatering treat.320So bye for now.321Oh,Gabe,can I have a slice of a dried mango?322323Me!Me,too.Me,too.324Of course,of course.Wait a minute, wait a minute.325326First,say,"Gabe,you're not as old as a mango tree."Gabe, you're not as old as a mango tree.327Thank you.328329And thank you for joining us.And we'll see you next time right here at Studio Classroom.330Uh,Gabe...where's our mango?331Oh!I'm sorry. It looks like I'm out of mango. That's the last one.332333(Music).。
