As the world becomes increasingly connected, the act of sending a postcard might seem like a lost art. However, for many of us, it remains a cherished tradition that bridges distances and creates meaningful connections. In this article, I'll share with you a little story about the magic of postcards and how they can bring people together, regardless of their geographical locations. It all began when I met a fellow traveler named Lucasin the bustling streets of Tokyo. Lucas was from a small town in the United States, and I was from the other side of the world, in China. Despite our differences, we hit it off immediately, sharing stories about our respective cultures and adventures. As our conversation flowed, Lucas mentioned that he loved collecting postcards from his travels and sending them to his friends and family. This idea struck a chord with me, as I had always been fascinated by the thought of receiving mail from afar.Lucas invited me to join him on a quest to find the most unique postcards in Tokyo. We roamed the city, stopping at every kiosk and souvenir shop, searching forthe perfect cards. Finally, with a stack of colorful and vibrant postcards in hand, we bid each other farewell, promising to keep in touch through our postcards.Months later, I found myself back home, scrolling through my mailbox one lazy afternoon. Among the bills and advertisements, a brightly colored envelope caught my eye. It was from Lucas, with a postcard depicting the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The simple message read, "Thinking of you across the ocean. Stay well, friend." The warmth and sincerity of his words filled me with joy, knowing that despite the vast distance between us, our friendship remained strong. In the ensuing months, our postcard exchange became a regular occurrence. Lucas sent me snapshots of thebeautiful landscapes he encountered in his travels, while I shared stories of my daily life in China. Each postcard was a window into the other's world, a tangible reminder of our shared experiences and growing bond. The act of sending postcards taught me the value of patience and anticipation. Waiting for the arrival of a postcard was like waiting for a surprise gift. Theanticipation built up as the days passed, and the excitement was palpable when the envelope finally arrived. It was a simple pleasure that brought joy to my daily routine. Moreover, the postcards themselves became collector's items, a physical representation of our friendship. They were more than just pieces of paper with pictures and messages; they were tokens of a deeper connection between two people who might never have met otherwise. In conclusion, the art of sending postcards is much more than a means of communication. It's an expression of care, a bridge between cultures, and a reminder of the beauty of human connections. Through our postcard exchange, Lucas and I were able to create a meaningful bond that transcended geographical boundaries. Our friendship grew stronger with each passing postcard, and we continue to cherish this unique way of staying connected.**寄明信片的小故事:跨越千里的友情**在这个世界日益紧密相连的时代,寄明信片或许已经成为了一门遗失的艺术。

1Dear Little Me,I can't believe I'm writing this letter to you from the future! It feels so weird to think about how much has changed since you were my age. I'm in 6th grade now and life is SO different. Get ready for an adventure!First off, let me just say that middle school is crazy. The building is huge with locker-lined hallways that feel like a maze. You have to carry your books and supplies around all day instead of having just one classroom. And get this - you even change classes for each subject! It's kind of stressful at first, but you get used to the routine pretty quickly. There are a lot more kids here too, like way more than at our little elementary school. It can be overwhelming, but also exciting to meet so many new people. You're going to make some awesome friends, trust me. Just be yourself and the right crew will find you.Speaking of friends, I have to warn you - the social stuff gets weird for a while. Everyone starts caring so much about what they wear, who's dating who, and being perceived as "cool." It's bonkers. A lot of the friend groups you're used to will shift and change. Some people might even be meaner than you're expecting. Just stick with the ones who are loyal and real. The drama's not worth stressing over. One hard reality you'll face is that not everyone is as nice as we hoped. You'll encounter some bullies who say mean things or leave you out. It stings, but remember that it's not about you - it's about their own insecurities. Hold your head high, rely on your true friends, and their negative words will mean nothing. On the flip side, you'll gain more freedom and independence. Mom and Dad will start giving you more leeway to hang out with friends, go to the mall, movies, etc. It's awesome! Just don't take it for granted and keep making good choices. They're only trying to keep you safe because they love you so much.School-wise, 6th grade is no joke academically. You have to stay so organized with separate binders, notebooks, and assignments for every class. Writing in cursive becomes mandatory too (which is harder than it looks!). The workloaddefinitely increases, but you've got this! Just take it one day at a time and ask for help when you need it.That's actually my biggest piece of advice: never be afraid to advocate for yourself. Raise your hand, ask questions, seek out teachers during study hall. martial arts taught us to be confident, and those skills will serve you well. Don't let anyone make you feel small or inadequate. You're smarter and stronger than you know!In terms of your interests and hobbies, let me fill you in... You're still obsessed with reading, but have also fallen in love with creative writing. Expect to fill many notebooks with short stories and script ideas! Your artistic side will continue to blossom too. Get ready to improve your drawing skills like crazy. One new passion you'll discover is music. Listening to pop, rock, and every genre in between will become a huge part of your life. You'll even learn some basic guitar and piano. Having a soundtrack for every mood and moment is incredibly cool.Video games are still very much your jam as well! You'll become a pro at multiplayer games and make loads of online friends around the world. Just be smart about protecting your privacy and personal info, okay? Safety first. As for sports, you'll keep up with martial arts for a few more years. It'll help you stay active and confident as you navigate middle school life. You're also going to pick up rollerblading, which is an awesome workout andway to get around the neighborhood with friends.Overall, I'd say middle school is a total roller coaster ride. One minute you'll be laughing hysterically with your BFFs, and the next you'll be drowning in homework and dealing with some tough social situations. There will be ups and downs for sure. Lots of cringey awkward moments. Many days you'll feel like you're faking your way through. But you know what? You've got this! You're stronger and braver than you know. If you can survive losing your first tooth, starting kindergarten, and moving across the country, you can absolutely conquer anything middle school throws your way. I believe in you!So keep your head held high, your wit sharp, and your spirit shining bright. Treasure the beautiful friendships, fun memories, and eye-opening lessons headed your way. It's all part of the journey to discovering your most authentic, confident self. Before you know it, you'll beme writing my own letter filled with wisdom to pass along. But for now, enjoy every moment. This is just the beginning!Love,Your 6th Grade Self篇2Dear Sixth-Grade Me,Hey there! It's me, your older and wiser self, coming at ya from the future. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but trust me, it's totally legit. I'm writing this postcard to you because, well, there are some things I wish someone had told me back when I was in your shoes. So buckle up, kiddo, because this is gonna be one wild ride!First things first, you gotta stop worrying so much about what other people think of you. I know it's tough, especially in sixth grade when everyone's trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. But trust me, the more you try to be someone you're not, the more miserable you're gonna be. Embrace your quirks, your passions, and your weirdness – that's what makes you, you!Speaking of passions, don't be afraid to try new things. I know you're really into basketball right now, but there's a whole world out there waiting to be explored. Maybe you'll discover a love for art, or music, or even coding (yes, coding is actually kind of cool, I promise). The point is, don't limit yourself. Keep an open mind and say yes to opportunities, even if they seem a little scary at first.Oh, and about those scary things – it's okay to feel afraid sometimes. We all get nervous, especially when it comes to things like public speaking or trying out for a team. But don't let that fear hold you back. Face it head-on, and you'll realize that it's not nearly as bad as you thought. Plus, the more you push through your fears, the easier it'll get. Trust me, I've been there, and I'm living proof that you can do it.Now, let's talk about friends. I know you've got a tight-knit group right now, and that's great. But don't be afraid to branch out and make new friends, too. The more diverse your circle, the more you'll learn and grow. And remember, true friends will stick by you no matter what, even if your interests or personalities change over time.Okay, I know this is getting a little heavy, so let's lighten things up a bit. Remember that time you tried to do a handstandin the middle of the cafeteria and ended up knocking over an entire tray of chocolate milk? Yeah, that was pretty embarrassing at the time, but looking back, it's hilarious. Don't take yourself too seriously, kid. Life's too short to not laugh at yourself every once in a while.Oh, and one more thing – cherish your family. I know they can be a pain sometimes (trust me, I get it), but they're always there for you, no matter what. Make sure you tell them you love them, and don't take their support for granted. They're your biggest cheerleaders, and they'll always have your back.Alright, I think that's enough wisdom for one postcard. I could go on and on, but I don't want to overload yoursixth-grade brain too much. Just remember to be yourself, try new things, face your fears, make new friends, laugh often, and love your family. Oh, and maybe lay off the handstands in the cafeteria for a little while. You've got an amazing journey ahead of you, kiddo. Embrace every moment, and don't forget to have fun along the way.See you in the future!

My postcardMy friend Xiaoming sent me a postcard, and it shows a beautiful beach and a blue sea. I was so happy when I saw it! So I decided to send Xiaoming a postcard too, to tell him that I've been having a great time recently.Dear Xiaoming,Wishing you happiness every day!Your friend,。
