Despite the progress that has been made in recent years, far too many people still live in extreme poverty, and go to bed hungry every night. This is a moral outrage, and it is our collective responsibility to address this issue with urgency and determination. By investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, and by fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth, we can ensure that every person has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.Furthermore, we must work to address the root causes of conflict and instability. All too often, innocent civilians are caught in the crossfire of violent conflicts, and communities are torn apart by war and division. We must redouble our efforts to promote peace, reconciliation, and dialogue, and to support the most vulnerable populations affected by conflict. By championing the principles of human rights, justice, and equality, we can create a more peaceful and secure world for all.It is also critical that we prioritize gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. When women and girls are able to fulfill their potential, societies thrive and progress. Yet, too many women and girls continue to face discrimination, violence, and unequal access to education and opportunities. We must dismantle the barriers that hold them back, and work tirelessly to ensure that they have the same rights and opportunities as their male counterparts. When we invest in women and girls, we invest in the future of our world.Finally, I urge all of us to embrace the principles of multilateralism and cooperation. First, I would like to thank all speakers and panelists for the enlighting speeches.

My name is Roy Wang. I’m a young singer and actor from China, the country that hosts 278 million young people, and the second largest youth population in the world.
我叫王源，是来自中国的年轻歌手和演员。

Until yesterday , I only saw the UN building on TV. so, this is the very first time that I am honored to participate in the youth forum to raise my voice.

I’m grateful for this unique opportunity. I was fortunate to work with the United Nations China sub-group on use to advocate for the image 2030 Campaign, which aims at encouraging the young generation in China to reflect and think about the world we want to see in 2030, the year the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are expected be achieved.
我非常感恩能有这样一个机会，有幸能与联合国驻华系统的青年问题工作小组合作，共同倡导“畅想2030”活动。
