哈姆莱特个人形象分析作文英文回答:Hamlet, the enigmatic and introspective protagonist of Shakespeare's eponymous play, is a multifaceted character whose complexity has captivated audiences for centuries. From his eloquent soliloquies to his brooding demeanor and philosophical contemplations, Hamlet embodies a profound and nuanced portrayal of human existence. One of Hamlet's most notable characteristics is his intellectual prowess. He is a keen observer of the world around him, constantly analyzing and questioning the motives and actions of others. His soliloquies, often delivered in the form of philosophical musings and introspective reflections, reveal his deep inner turmoil and his struggle to find meaning in the face of adversity. However, Hamlet's intellectual brilliance is also coupled with a profound sense of melancholy and doubt. Heis haunted by the ghost of his murdered father, who reveals the treachery and corruption that has overtaken the Danish court. Hamlet's contemplation of mortality, the meaning of life, and the nature of justice profoundly impacts his actions and decisions throughout the play.Furthermore, Hamlet is a complex moral agent. He is capable of great acts of love and compassion, as evidenced by his deep affection for Ophelia. However, he is also prone to procrastination and indecision, which leads to tragic consequences for himself and those around him. Hamlet's inability to act decisively and his tendency to over-analyze situations ultimately contribute to his downfall. In addition to his intellectual and moral complexities, Hamlet is also a deeply theatrical character. He is conscious of his role as an observer and participant in the play's action, and he often uses soliloquies and asides to comment on the events unfolding before him. Hamlet's self-awareness and his ability to shape the narrative around him provide a unique perspective on the play and itsimplications.Overall, Hamlet is a character of immense depth and complexity. His intelligence, melancholy, moral ambiguity, and theatrical self-awareness make him a timeless and enduring figure in literature. His struggles and contemplations continue to resonate with audiences today, providing insights into the human condition and the complexities of existence.中文回答:哈姆雷特人物形象分析。

哈姆雷特人物评价英文作文

哈姆雷特人物评价英文作文英文:When it comes to evaluating the characters in Hamlet, there are quite a few to choose from. However, I will focus on the main characters: Hamlet, Ophelia, and Claudius.Firstly, Hamlet is a complex character who is often seen as indecisive and melancholic. However, he is also intelligent and witty, as seen in his famous soliloquies. He is also deeply betrayed by those around him, which contributes to his inner turmoil. Overall, I would say that Hamlet is a tragic hero who is struggling to come to terms with his own identity and the world around him.Secondly, Ophelia is a tragic figure who is often overlooked in discussions of Hamlet. She is a victim of both Hamlet's cruelty and her father's manipulation, which ultimately drives her to madness and suicide. Despite her limited role in the play, Ophelia's character serves as acommentary on the treatment of women in Shakespeare's time.Lastly, Claudius is the main antagonist of the play. He is a cunning and manipulative character who murders his own brother in order to gain power. He is also a hypocrite, as he tries to repent for his sins while continuing to commit evil acts. Claudius represents the corrupting influence of power and the dangers of unchecked ambition.中文:谈到评价哈姆雷特中的人物,有很多角色可供选择。
哈姆雷特人物分析Character_Analysis

Hamlet Character AnalysisHamletHamlet is the Prince of Denmark, the title character. He is the son of Queen Gertrude and the late King Hamlet, and the nephew of the present king, Claudius. Hamlet is full of hatred for his uncle's scheming. He is mysterious, it's hard to define his character. Hamlet is often hesitant, but at other times he is tended to be impulsive. Throughout the play he struggles with whether, and how, to avenge the murder of his father, and struggles with his own sanity along the way.Hamlet also becomes cruel and rude. He killed Polonius through a curtain without even checking to see who he is. In a word, his suffering changes his characteristic from a gentle prince to a smart, doubtful, cruel and rude man.Claudius(the king)He is t he King of Denmark, Hamlet’s uncle. Claudius is an ambitious politician who occasionally shows signs of guilt and human feeling—his love for Gertrude may be sincere, but it also seems likely that he married her as a strategic move, to help him win the throne away from Hamlet after the death of the old king. When Gertrude inadvertently drinks the poison and dies, Hamlet grabbed his last chance to kill Claudius. Both of them died at the end of the story. Most of the other important men in Hamlet are preoccupied with ideas of justice, revenge, and moral balance, Claudius is bent upon maintaining his own power. The king is skilled in the use of language. Claudius is ultimately too crafty for his own good.GertrudeShe is the Queen of Denmark, Hamlet’s mot her, recently married to Claudius, the new queen. She loves Hamlet deeply. The Queen caused much uncertainty. The play seems to raise more questions about Gertrude than it answers. No one knows if there are true love between she and the old king, nor between she and the new king. No one knows whether she knew Claudius’s plan of the murder. There’s only one thing w e know for sure, that’s her d eep love for Hamlet. She never exhibits the ability to think critically about her situation, but tends to make seemingly safe choices. Nevertheless, she is just too weak to protect the people she loves.PoloniusPolonius is the Lord Chamberlain of Claudius’s court. T he father of Laertes and Ophelia. He is one of many characters who lack integrity. Throughout Hamlet, Polonius looks out for his own interests only, and betrays those he should be loyal to. These aspects of his character are showed in his relationships with the King, Ophelia, Laertes, and Hamlet.Polonius is two-faced in his interactions with people. Po lonius was King Hamlet’s loyal servent, well liked and trusted by King Hamlet and Prince Hamlet. But Polonius states his loyaltyto Claudius, too. If Polonius was actually loyal to King Hamlet, then he would have never supported the deceitful, murderous Claudius. Polonius is a dishonorable man. We can conclude Polonius as a character lacks heart and honor.HoratioHoratio is Hamlet’s close friend, they studied together at the university in Wittenberg. Horatio is loyal and helpful to Hamlet throughout the play.Hamlet reveals all his plans to Horatio. Horatio swears himself to keep secret the ghost and Hamlet's pretending to be madness. He is always supportive, helpful, loyal and dependable. Maybe that’s why he is Hamlet’s most trusted friend. He also helped Hamlet to prove the king’s guilt in the mousetrap play. And he is the one who remains alive to tell Hamlet’s story after Hamlet died.OpheliaOphelia is Polonius’s daughter, Lae rtes’s sister. She is a sweet and innocent young girl with whom Hamlet has been in love. She always depended on men to tell her how to behave. Probably, she had lost faith in true love. She loved both her father and Hamlet. She couldn’t accept the fact that the person who had killed her father was her beloved. And she had no one to talk to about what happened, maybe th at’s the rea son for her madness. But even in her lapse into madness and death, she remains gentle and mild, singing beautiful songs about flowers and finally drowning in the river with the flower garlands she had gathered.LaertesLaertes is Polonius’s son and Ophelia’s brother. He spends much of the play in France. As Hamlet was the one who killed his father and the reason of her s ister’s madness. He thought Hamlet was the one to blame. And the King had long wanted to kill Hamlet too, so the king said things to him to make him more angry, and wanted to take revenge.Different from Hamlet, Laertes more is passionate and quick at action. But he didn’t make any efforts to talk with Ophelia which may prevent her from becoming crazy.FortinbrasThe young Prince of Norway, whose father the king (also named Fortinbras) was killed by Hamlet’s father (also named Hamlet). Now Fortinbras wishes to attack Denmark to avenge his father’s honor, making him another foil for Prince Hamlet. The GhostThe specter of Hamlet’s recently deceased father. The ghost, who claims to have been murdered by Claudius, calls upon Hamlet to avenge him. However, it is not entirely certain whether the ghost is what it appears to be, or whether it is something else. Hamlet speculates that the ghost might be a devil sent to deceive him and tempt him into murder, and the question of what the ghost is or where it comes from is never definitively resolved.Rosencrantz and GuildensternTwo slightly bumbling courtiers, former friends of Hamlet from Wittenberg, who are summoned by Claudius and Gertrude to discover the cause of Hamlet’s strange behavior.OsricThe foolish courtier who summons Hamlet to his duel with Laertes.Voltimand and CorneliusCourtiers whom Claudius sends to Norway to persuade the king to prevent Fortinbras from attacking.Marcellus and BernardoThe officers who first see the ghost walking the ramparts of Elsinore and who summon Horatio to witness it. Marcellus is present when Hamlet first encounters the ghost.FranciscoA soldier and guardsman at Elsinore.ReynaldoPolonius’s servant, who is sent to France by Polonius to check up on and spy on Laertes.。

英语翻译1301 2013011275The specific analyzes of characters of HamletHamlet is a humanist of which involved in the contradictory of ideal and reality, and a person who has some beautiful views on the world human and society . But the cruelty and hideous of the real world have destroyed his expectation and broke his faith of humanism. As a humanist ,his hesitation on the way of revenge indicated the great gap of power between the humanism and feudalism. The author is aim at pointing out his introspection of The Renaissance and preoccupation of fate of human and our society.Humlet is the model of humanism idealist in the period of Renaissance. Although he wears the black suits , been serious at the first time when he showing up as a melancholy prince. But before story begins he is a happy prince studied in the Wittenburg, the headquarter of humanism. He has a fully rational faith to human. The mankind ,how a amazing craft he is, how nobly his rational is, what a great power and glamorous character he has , behaves like an angle, be intelligent as a god, the essence of the world and universe. But the world changed so fast, the sudden death of his father ,the idealized king in his mind, broke his life. His contemptible uncle Claudius took over the position and forcedHamlet’s mother married with him. The ideal love of his parent was broken. The disgrace of his mother and the grand wedding ceremony remind him realized the fatal blemish of his people and country. Likewise, the old ministers and new nobility’s flatter to new king made him experienced more about the fickleness of the world. Hamlet has already been caught in the sadness and melancholy by s the misfortune of the world and suffering of life. What’s worse, there were some thing more cruel like conspiracy of murder, of which had a great shock on his faith. With great shock and anger, the melancholy prince has fall in to a deeper scale from the suffering, and he realize that it is a time of displace and chaos. In that hash time, he undertook the historic responsibility consciously. ‘Oh, as I’m so unfortunate like this, how can I take the responsibility of fixing the world ?’The revenge of Hamlet is not only to kill the Claudius’s body , but to wipe out the dark society which represented by the Claudius; For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,The insolence of office and the spurns. That patient merit of the unworthy takes,When he himself might his quietus make,With a bare bodkin? The earth, seems to me a sterile promontoryThis most excellent canopyThe air, look you, this brave o'erhanging firmamentThis majestical roof fretted with golden fire- why,It appeareth no other thing to me than a foul andpestilent congregation of vapours.‘A foul and pestilent congregation of vapours.’ caused by Claudius, the fellow minsters also the accomplices while taking some actions to protect their benefits. Even his mother and his lover Ophelia were utilized by dark-force, came to be sacrifices unconsciously because of their ignorance. The counterpart force is in a large scale, but also a invisible power. Hamlet’s view of insight is sharp and deeper, but he still fall into the vicious circle of thinking. He is living a world totally different from the ideal world, existing or death is actually a very complicated problem to him. It’s also the misfortune and helplessness of humanism idealists. The time of displace and chaos in the society necessary labour pains of asociety when it transmit into capitalism from feudalism. The politeness between lord and its ministers has gone, constitution vanished, ethic corrupted, society slopped down, but the castle of feudalism became more fastness. The newly-developed third power are just in germination, haven’t been known by humanism idealists. The repeatation of history is unwillingly but real principle of humanism idealist. Humanists is not politics but a idealist, they have great ambition, pure goal, consist faith and firmly mind, never to achieving the goal by anyway as they can even the evil methods. When Hamlet prove this frighten vice wittily by the game-in-game play, he was able to revenge directly. but when Claudius preying to the god in a panic, he is not to kill Claudius directly but to waiting for the moment that his evilness totally emerged, and then he rises up the blade of justice to execute the evils. This kind of behavior can not be defied as his religious emotion and his indecisive. It isn’t a bloody conspiracy of imperial harem but a good man’s necessary action of a humanism idealist. At last, Hamlet asked Heritio to quarrel the country the whole term of this mass. It indicates that Hamlet may not regard simple civilian equally, and dislike then as his saying ’ a civilian is dare to kick nobility’s heel.’ , humanism idealist overworship the power of asingle person. Although old Hamlet worried about his prestige in the country, even the pirates also offered him help and shown him respect, it’s impossible for him to attacked imperial palace like Leotis leading a group of nutters and came into stage with the applause of them. Because it’s far away from a real humanism looks like. Until it came to 19th century we are able to find some scenes about the civilians attacking the palace, cathedral and prison in the biography of Dickens and Hugo, those are necessary event of historical evolution. The ideal faith of humanism is the nobility and grace of human, pure and graceful, brave and endure, infused with enthusiasm and smartness, required equality and self-esteem. But in this kind of cruel reality, the humanity was so evil , so contemptible, changeable and lonely. But Hamlet had never lost the faith of the human in humanism idealist’s eyes, as human is the essence of the universe and superior than any others over the world. He has fight for this a sort of faith at expense of his life. The faith, is the reason why we survive generations by generations and fight for.On the other hand, Hamlet just regard love as a mineral part, some one even suspects his love to Ophelia. It’s obviously unfair to him. We never consider that the Shakespeare created his protracted character consciously , because he never be protracted when he killthe Bornuis , tow of his friends and jump out in the funeral of Ophelia. This outcomes is more convincible when we dividing it in tow aspects. First , the love to his mother, that’s why the saying of Freud is valuable. Hamlet often mentioned his mother in the play, thus we can find what a shock to him as his mother lost her chaste. This is not about what his uncle has done what he eager to do, so that he scared by himself with good heart, but the truth of his mother’s remarry failed him to believe the women again. This kind of overall understanding of this matter was tangled with the worship of women, thus he trapped in endless sadness and failed to do anything.。

Hamlet, the prince of Denmark, suffered a lot in a short time. He father died without expectation. He mother married his uncle soon after his father’s death. How sad he is at that time! Then he meets the ghost of his father. He starts his revenge with suspicion.
Hamlet is a smart boy. Firstly, he feigns madness after the ghost tells him that his father was murdered by Claudius. From “As I perchance hereafter shall think meet/ To put an disposition on” (Act 1 Scene 5, Line 179 to 180) and from Act 2 Scene 1 Line 77 to 84, Ophelia told his father Polonius some strange actions of Hamlet, we can see that Hamlet began to behave like a mad man. Secondly, when there is a theatrical troupe coming to perform in the imperial palace, Hamlet comes up with a great idea. He directs a play with his talent on writing to prove that his uncle was the murder. From “There is a play tonight before the king: which I told thee of my father’s death… observe my uncle.”(Act 3 Scene 2 Line 75 to 80), we know that Hamlet want to prove his guessing. Thirdly, when Polonius is talking to Hamlet use words to baffle frustrate. According to “my lord, the queen would speak with you, and presently/ do you see yonder cloud that’s almost in shape of a camel…or like a whale” (Act 3 Scene 3 Line 365 to 373), we can see that Hamlet use words to play tricks on Polonius.
Our prince Hamlet becomes doubtful after the disaster of his family. He dares not to believe others any more. Firstly, on one hand, “never make known what you have seen tonight/ my lord we will not/nay, but swear’t…this do swear so grace and mercy at your most need help you.”(Act 1 Scene 5 Line 149 to 188), we know that he did not trust his friends Marcellus and Horatio. One the other hand, Hamlet does not believe what the ghost says. He plans a play to prove whether the ghost is good or not. Here is what Hamlet says: “observe my uncle. If his occulted guilt do not itself unkennel in one speech, it is a damage ghost that we have seen” (Act 3 Scene 2 Line 80 to 82).
Hamlet also becomes cruel and rude. Firstly, at the queen’s house, hamlet thinks the person who was behind the curtain is Claudius, and then he kills him. But when he finds it is Polonius, he doesn’t fell sorry about his death. He even say; “thou wretched rash, intruding fool, farewell, I took thee for thy better. Take thy fortune: thou find’st to be too busy is some danger” (Act 3 Scene 4 Line 32 to 34). Secondly, he treats the queen cruelly. “That blurs the grace and blush of modesty…proclaim no shame when the compulsive ardour gives the charge, since frost itself as actively doth burn and reason panders will…in the ran sweet of an enseamed bed , stew’d in corruption, honeying and making love over the nasty sty! ”(Act3 Scene 4 Line 41 to 94). His words are so cruel to his mother. He says what he wants to say and doesn’t pay any attention to his mother’s feeling. Thirdly, his actions to Ophelia are so rude. “Lady, shall I lie n your lap/ no my lord… that’s fair thought to lie between maids’ legs” (Act 3 Scene 2 Line 110 to 117).
Hamlet thinks too much and is hesitate. When Claudius is praying, it’s a chance for hamlet to kill him. However, Hamlet doesn’t want to send Claudius to the heaven. He gives up this chance, them Hamlet becomes a tragedy. “Now might I so it pats, now’a is a-praying and now I’ll do it …this physic but prolongs thy sickly days.” (Act 3 Scene 4 Line 72 to96).
Besides, our prince is very brave. When he has the first dating with the ghost, he shouts
loudly to his friends: “by heaven, I’ll make a ghost of him that lets me. I say, away. ” (Act 1 Scene 4 Line 85 to 86).
In a word, his suffering changes his characteristic from a gentle prince to a smart, doubtful, cruel and rude man.。
