系统利用前摄像头，检测并监控车辆在车道中心线和车道线上的相对位置，摄像头、电子控制单元及存储卡位置如图1所示。
如果车辆偏离车道，显示器和蜂鸣器发出警告并显示警告信号。
LDWS模块位于挡风玻璃上，LDWS开关位于方向盘上，驾驶员可以选择是否使用该系统，在OFF模式，该系统不工作。
另外，根据LDWS工作原理，即使一切正常，其在很多情况下也不会工作，即该系统有一定的工作条件。
首先，在点火开关O N 状态，LDWS开关O N 时，看到仪表盘上LDWS警告灯ON。
行驶时车辆行驶车速达60km/h或以上时，LDWS开始检测行驶车道。
当车辆偏离行驶车道时，用黄色显示行驶车道。
一旦车辆发生无意识偏离车道，系统会发出图1 摄像头和ECU及存储卡警告。
如果驾驶员打了转向灯再偏离车道，为有意识偏离，系统不发出警告。
驾驶员操作雨刮器时，根据工作状态(雨刮器高速)，系统不发出警告。
LDWS在正常工作模式，还需道路可见或容易辨认，车道材料为柏油路或混凝土道路，车道颜色为白色、黄色或蓝色。
LDWS无法识别连续或者大幅度转弯的车道和不清楚的车道。

Thoroughly inspect your vehicle before and after every off-road use.Installation Warning:We recommend that certified technicians perform the installations of our products. At-tempts to install these products without knowledge or experience may jeopardize the safety of the vehicle. These instructions only cover the installation of our products and may not include factory procedures for disassembly and reassembly of factory compo-nents. Read instructions from start to finish and be sure all parts are present before disassembling the vehicle. Install the 2” rear bump stop pads, RE1305 to the rear axle, with the “F” arrow pointingtowards the front of the vehicle, using the supplied 5/16” X 1” bolt and hardware. If 37” tires are being installed on any edition other than a Rubicon, bump stop extensions,RE1306, will need to be bolted to the 2” rear bump stop pads center hole using the sup-plied 3/8” X 1 1/2” bolt and hardware. PHOTO #4.9. Reinstall the emergency brake cable clamp and frame mount brake line into the originalposition.10. Reinstall the rear wheels and check the torque on all nuts and bolts.11. Re-connect the frame end of the track bar with vehicle on the ground and at ride height.Tighten the 9/16” hardware.12. Adjust the position of the brake lines, breather hoses, and ABS lines as required.Front Installation:1. Prepare for the front installation by removing the following items from the front of the vehicle: tires/wheels, shocks, and sway bar end links. If necessary, support front axle with jack. Disconnect the front driveshaft U-joint from the axle to pre-vent damaging the CV when installing the springs.NOTE: Disconnecting the front track bar may assist in front coil removal/installation.2. With the items removed, carefully lower the front axle assembly and remove thefront coil springs. NOTE: It may be necessary to disconnect brake line brackets from front con-trol arms to prevent over extending the front brake lines.(Photo #3) (Photo #4)3. For proper bump stop height, install front bump stops as follows:A. Rubicon Edition with 37” tires or all other editions with 35” tires: Install all of the components from one box only of front lower bump stop kit, RE1301. Stack one of the 2” poly bump stop spacer, 90-RM42520, on top of the 3/8” steel spacer inside the coil per side. This configuration will be secured with the 3/8” X 2 3/4” bolt and hardware. PHOTO #5A.B. All other editions installing 37” tires: Install both front lower bump stop kit, RE1301, box components, (except only install one of the 3/8” steel spacers per side). Stack two of the 2” poly bump stop spacer, 90-RM42520, stacked on top of a 3/8” steel spacer inside the coil per side. This configuration will be secured with the 3/8” X 4 3/4” bolt and hardware. PHOTO #5B.NOTE: The 3/8” X 2 3/4” bolts can be discarded if installing this configura-tion.4. Install the coil shim, 90-RM43013, on the passenger side, on top of the OE coil isolator. With the correct amount of lower bump stops and spacers (Refer to Step 3), placed inside the new front coil springs, RM60165 (Sold Separately), raise the small diameter end of the coil springs into the upper spring buckets and over the lower spring cups and bump stop pads. Rotate the coil springs so the end of the coil properly sits in the factory isolators. Secure lower bump stops using the supplied 3/8” bolts and hardware depending on the bump stop height (Refer to Step 3). PHOTOS #5A, 5B, 65. If installing front arm kit, RE3721, do so at this time.NOTE: Do not install cam washers with front arm kit, RE3721, unless more caster angle is needed.6. Install the replacement front shocks or shock extensions in place of the previouslyremoved stock shocks.(Photo #6)(Photo #5A) (Photo #5B)7. Raise the axle into place and install the front sway bar end links, RE1152, in place of the previously removed factory anti-sway bar end links and secure to the sway bar and front axle using the supplied 1/2” X 2 1/2” hex bolts and hard-ware. PHOTO #7NOTE: It may be necessary to drill sway bar mounting holes out to 1/2”. 8. Re-connect track bar if disconnection was required.9. Reinstall the front wheels and check the torque on all nuts and bolts.Installation review:1. Torque all the bolts to factory specifications. Be sure to double check your work.2.
