(2)在介词后只能用whether,不能用if。

(3)与动词不定式连用时,只能用whether,不能用if。

(4)宾语从句是否定句时,只能用if,不能用whether。

(二)特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句1.连接代词who,whom,whose,what,which等引导的宾语从句。

Don't tell me who she is.不要告诉我她是谁。

2.连接副词when,where,why,how等引导的宾语从句。

Tell me when the problem started.告诉我问题什么时候开始的。

3.特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句,用陈述句语序。

Can you tell me how she's different?你能告诉我她是怎样不一样了吗?4.一般疑问句或特殊疑问句做宾语,从句用陈述句语序,助动词do,does,did 要省略;但构成否定句时,不省略。
