基数词和序数词

一、基数词：

（一）写法：

1. 100：one hundred 300: three hundred

1000: one thousand 4000: four thousand

100万: one million 500万: five million （有具体数字，数词用单数）

2. 成百上千：hundreds of cars

成千上万: thousands of stars

成百万上千万：millions of people

（二）用法：

1、表示数量：My father is forty years old.

There are two hundred people in the school.

2、表示时间：分钟+past(to)+小时

30分钟内(包含30分钟)用past连接

30分钟以上用 to 连接

（注意：一刻钟用a quarter 半点用half）

3、表示编号：

501房间Room 501 7班Class Seven 5年级Grade Five

5年级7班：Class Seven, Grade Five（班级在前，年级在后，首字母大写，中间有逗号）(注意：1、单词的第一个字母大写)

二、序数词：

（一）写法：first, second, third, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth, fifteenth,

twentieth, thirtieth, thirty-first

（二）用法1表示顺序，翻译成“第几”常用于日期、生日、楼层等。

He is twelve years old. Today is his twelfth birthday.

There are nine floors in this building. I live on the ninth floor.

2. 序数词前加the He is the first.

3. 表示日期My birthday is on the ninth of June

三有些数字表达用基、序都可以表达。特别是指课、页、列等。
