Part III Reading Comprehension (35%)

一. 概况 每年二次，6月，12月
二、如何备考
1．准备的材料： 1）《四六级词汇手册》（星火） 2）《英语应用能力A级考试历年真题》
2．应做的准备：
1）每周至少做一套真题或者模拟题。 2）每周写一篇作文。 3）每天至少听半小时的英语。 4）考试前背至少10篇英语范文。
此题多数是日常口语。要在听懂的基础上，根据口语 习惯来回答。
Section B (5%) Multiple choice according to dialogues.
常规题型，四选一。
Section C (5%) Fill the blanks in a short passage. 必须按原文填写。错一个字母就不得分。每空最多 填2个单词。
2）将选择的项目放在句中读一遍，靠语 感来判断正误。
Section B (10%) 单词词型转换，语法填空，语法题占60%, 词汇题占40%。 e.g. In some ways these schools are (differ) _di_ffe_re_n_t from Chinese middle schools.
共有5篇阅读文章。
1．第1和第2个阅读题型是传统四选一选择 题，每题2分，计20分。
2．第3个阅读是写出文章的大纲，属于信息 转换题型。共5道题，每题1分。用单词或短 语回答此题，每题答案不能超过3个单词。
3．第4个阅读是匹配翻译题，文章中给出英语短语， 多数是实用方面的内容。例如：机器操作指令、产 品说明、某行业的专用术语、学校开课的名称、体 育运动的名称，等等。在答案中给出汉语，只需考 生填上相应的英语字母即可。此题有5或10个空， 每空1分或0.5分，共5分。
前缀：

做题技巧
1．先将全句读懂，判断所填的词在句子中的句子成 分。如果作谓语，就是语法题，要考虑其时态、语态 等，同时要注意时态的一致；若句子中有谓语，就是 词汇题，要考虑该词所作的成分及词义，确定所填词 的词性。 2．此题的答案是唯一的，错一个字母就不得分。 3．平时学习要注意构词法，掌握常用的构词前缀和 后缀。
