教学过程:Step 1 Revision (2 min)Ask the students to tell their favourite TV programmes. Revise the names of them. Step 2 Presentation (6 min)1.Give students a simple topic and the story about it made by ourselves. Showthem what is background and plot.2.Say : There is a competition to write a story for a TV progamme. Daniel andSimon have entered it. If they want to write well, they first need to know the background and the plot of the TV progamme very well.Step 3 Read and Answer (8 min)Ask the students to read the background and the plot of the TV programme, and then answer the following questions:1.Who is the programme about? ( The Chen family. )2.How many people are there in the Chen family? ( Four. )3.Who are they? ( Nancy, Victor and their parents. )4.Do the children get along well? ( No, they disagree all the time. )5.What did Nancy and Victor argue about? ( What TV programs to watch. )6.What happened to the remote control? Encourage them to discuss freely so that the story can develop imaginatively.2 Show the students some pictures about a story. Ask them to use their imagination to tell a complete story with their partner according to the pictures .Step 6 Presentation (2 min)Say : If you all enter the competition to write a story for a TV programme, first, you have to think of an idea for a TV programme. You should think about where the programme takes place, the characters in the story and the personalities and favourite activities of the characters.Step 7 Practice (10 min)Say : You are also interested in writing your own TV programme for a writing competition. Work in pairs to complete the plan in part B, and then write an outline of the story before writing the programme. There are no right or wrong answers here. You can choose whichever categories you like and use your imaginations to develop the plot.
