【分析点拨】

1.sports meet 运动会

名词作定语修饰名词时，一般用单数形式，但man, woman, sport 作定语时通常用复数形式。如：women teachers 女教师sports shoes 运动鞋

The school sports meet 学校运动会就要开了。

现在进行时表示将来要发生的事，类似的动词还有go, leave, fly, start, meet等都可用现在进行时表示将来发生的动词。

2. take part in 参加be in + 活动参加......活动

take part in 参加，后接活动名词，相当于join in。 区别：

be in + 活动，表示“参加某活动”，相当于take part in

例子：我将要参加足球赛。

I will take part in the football match.

= I will ______ _______ the football match.

= I will _________ _________ the football match.

3. will

表示一般将来时，由“will+动词原形”构成，当人称代词与will连用时，will可缩略为“’ll”。否定式为”will not(won’t)+动词原形”；一般疑问句为“will+主语+动词原形”，肯定回答为“Yes, ...will”，否定回答为“No,...won’t”特殊疑问句为“特殊疑问词+一般疑问句”

1.It’s one’s first time to do sth.

某人第一次做某事

It’s one’s first time to do sth. = It’s the first time for sb. to do sth.

表示某人第一次做某事。

例子: 这是Maria 第一次来中国。

2. lots of 许多，大量have fun 玩得高兴

lots of = _____ _____ _____

have lots of fun“玩得相当高兴”相当于have a good/ great/ nice time, enjoy oneself. have fun doing sth. 表示“做某事有趣”

例子：孩子们十分快乐地学习英语。

3. prepare for... 表示“为......作准备”，相当于get ready for，强调动作be ready for + 活动，表示“为……准备好了”。
