2023年山东专升本英语考试真题

2023年山东专升本英语考试真题全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1你好!我叫小明,今年8岁,就读于小学二年级。
我最喜欢上英语课了,因为英语太有趣啦!我觉得英语考试也蛮有意思的。
今年暑假,我哥哥要参加2023年的山东专升本英语考试,所以我也跟着复习了一些内容,现在就让我来分享一下今年英语考试的一些特点吧!The English exam this year was pretty fun! The reading section had some really cool passages about things like how ice cream is made and the history of soccer. I liked reading those a lot more than the boring readings we sometimes get in our textbooks at school. There were multiple choice questions to test if we understood the main ideas and details from the passages. Those weren't too hard. The writing section asked us to write an essay giving our opinion on whether kids篇2My Big Summer AdventureHey there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just finished the 4th grade and I had the most amazing summer ever!I went on a huge adventure with my mom, dad, and little brother Tommy. We went all the way across China by train from our home in Jinan to Beijing, then to Xi'an, and finally to Chengdu! It was the first time I had ever traveled so far. I was a little nervous but mostly really excited. The first stop on our trip was Beijing. We stayed in a hotel right near the Forbidden City. Can you believe that giant palace used to be where the emperors lived? It's like a maze inside with all the different halls and courtyards. My favorite part was climbing up onto the massive city walls. You could see the whole historic center of Beijing from up there! While we were in Beijing, we also went to see the Great Wall of China. I had learned all about it in school but it was even more incredible in person. The wall snaked up and down the huge rocky mountains as far as the eye could see. We hiked a few miles along it. Parts were steep and scary but I'm proud that I didn't give up. At the end, my legs were super sore but it was worth it for the amazing views. After a few days in Beijing, we got back on the train headed to Xi'an. This was my dad's favorite stop because he's really intoancient history. In Xi'an, we visited the Terracotta Warriors museum. You wouldn't believe how many life-size clay warrior statues there were—thousands and thousands! Each one had a different facial expression and details. It's amazing that they were buried underground for over 2,000 years before being discovered. My little brother Tommy's favorite stop was definitely Chengdu though. That's because in Chengdu, we went to see the pandas! We visited a huge panda breeding center and got to watch the pandas lounging around, munching on bamboo. They were so cute and fluffy, like living teddy bears. We even saw adorable panda cubs the size of puppies playing and tumbling around. I wish I could have given them all a big hug!Overall, our cross-country China trip was a summer I'll never forget. I got to experience so many new sights, sounds, and tastes. Traveling opened up my eyes to how big and amazing our country is. I feel like I learned just as much, if not more, than I do in school. Not only about China's rich history and culture, but about being brave, trying new things, and appreciating the world around me. I'm already bugging my parents about where we should go next summer. Maybe somewhere overseas likeThailand or Japan? A girl can dream! No matter what though, I know this summer trip gave me memories to last a lifetime.篇3My Amazing Adventure at the English Exam!Hello, everyone! Today, I want to share with you my incredible experience at the English exam. It happened in the year 2023, in the beautiful province of Shandong, China. The exam day started with butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I was a bit nervous, but I knew I had prepared well. The exam room was filled with students from different schools, all eager to show their English skills. The atmosphere was both exciting and a little bit intimidating. As the exam began, I glanced at the first question. It was about my favorite hobby. I love drawing, so I quickly wrote about how I enjoy using colors and creating beautiful pictures. I also mentioned that it makes me happy when others appreciate my artwork. Drawing is like a magical world where I can express myself freely.Next, there was a reading comprehension section. I read a story about a group of friends who went on a thrilling adventure. They discovered a hidden treasure in an ancient cave. The questions were not too difficult, and I felt confident in my answers. The story was so exciting that I imagined myself being part of the adventure! Then, it was time for grammar and vocabulary. We had to fill in the blanks with the correct words. Some words were easy, like "cat" and "happy." But there were also challenging ones, like "accomplishment" and "fascinating." I remembered all the grammar rules I had studied and tried my best to choose the right words. After that, we had to write a short essay on the topic of "My Dream." I closed my eyes and let my imagination run wild. I wrote about how I dream of becoming an astronaut and exploring the vast universe. I described the beauty of the planets and the thrill of floating in space. It was like painting a picture with words. Finally, the listening section came. We had to listen to a recording and answer questions based on what we heard. The recording was about a family's trip to the zoo. I listened carefully and marked the correct answers. It was a bit challenging because the speakers talked fast, but I managed to catch most of the information. As the exam came to an end, I felt a mix of relief and excitement. I had poured my heart into every question and gave it my all. Now, it was time to wait for the results.A few weeks later, our teacher announced the exam scores. When she called my name and said I got the highest score in the class, I couldn't believe my ears! I jumped up with joy and couldn't stop smiling. All the hard work and preparation had paid off!The English exam was not just a test for me. It was an adventure filled with challenges and opportunities to showcase my skills. It taught me the importance of perseverance and the joy of expressing myself in another language. So, my dear friends, believe in yourself and never be afraid to take on new challenges. With determination and hard work, you can conquer anything, just like I did in my amazing adventure at the English exam!I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience, and I wish you all the best in your own English exams. Keep shining brightly, my little stars! With love,[Your Name]Word count: 535 words篇4Certainly! Here is a 2000-word essay in English, written from the perspective of an elementary school student, discussing the 2023 Shandong University Entrance Examination for Upgrading from Junior College to Undergraduate ("专升本" exam):The Super-Duper Important Test Day!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 10-year-old student. Today I want to tell you all about the really big test that my older cousin Jing took last year. It's called the "Zhuan Sheng Ben" exam, which means something like "going from a smaller school to a bigger one". Pretty neat, huh?Jing studies at this place called a "junior college". It's kind of like a university, but not quite as big or fancy. Last year, she decided she wanted to go to a full university instead to get an even better education. But to do that, she had to take this massive, super-important exam called the Zhuan Sheng Ben. It's only given once a year in our province of Shandong. Jing studied sooooo hard for months! The exam had all kinds of subjects - Chinese, math, English, and even things like politics and computer skills. Jing said the English part was the toughest since she's not that great at it. There were listening comprehension sections where they played audio clips and asked questions. Then there were reading passages that she had to answer questions about. And of course, tons of grammar, vocabulary, writing, translation - the whole shebang! But you know what the scariest part was? The exam was only held on ONE day each year. That's right, if you missed it or did poorly, you'd have to wait an entire year to take it again! Can you imagine?? Jing must have been a nervous wreck. The night before, she could hardly sleep. She just tossed and turned, going over vocabulary words and grammar rules in her head. I remember her room was a mess, with papers and textbooks strewn everywhere. She drank like ten cups of tea too to stay awake and focused while studying. Finally, exam day arrived - June 18th, 2023 to be exact. Jing had to wake up at the crack of dawn, like 5 AM! She put on her lucky sweater (even though it was hot outside) and grabbed her backpack full of pencils, erasers, and exam admission tickets. Shelooked exhausted but tried to act all casual, saying "No biggie, it's just a test!"Yeah right! I could see her hands were shaking as she walked out the door. Our whole family went to the exam site with her for moral support. It was held at this gigantic high school with a thousand other students taking the same test. Talk about pressure! The exam was scheduled to last from 8 AM to 5 PM with just a short break for lunch. NINE HOURS of pure brain-busting! Jing said it felt like climbing a mountain. She'd answer one section, run out of mental energy, have a sip of water, and then push herself through the next set of questions. Rinse and repeat for what seemed like an eternity.During the reading section, Jing had to plow through all these crazy-long passages about science, history, and philosophy. Some had vocabulary she'd never seen before in her life! The listening portions were just as hard with people rambling on in English about random topics. At one point, Jing said her brain felt like a big mushy noodle from information overload. But she persevered and just kept bubbling in answer after answer on the test sheets. I'm pretty sure her hand cramped upfrom all that pencil gripping too! When the exam ended at 5 PM, Jing basically collapsed into a puddle of exhaustion. She looked like a wilted flower, poor thing. While waiting for the results over the next few agonizing months, Jing basically turned into a zombie. She would just shuffle around, all lifeless and stressed out of her mind. She's normally this bubbly, happy-go-lucky person but the exam did a total number on her! I've never seen someone so anxious in my whole life. Finally, in late August, the scores came out online. We were all huddled around the computer, frantically refreshing the page. When Jing's name and score popped up, we all screamed louder than a pack of howler monkeys! She passed Her score was high enough to get admitted into her dream university's finance program. Watching Jing celebrate by doing a little happy dance is a memory I'll never forget.Moral of the story? The Zhuan Sheng Ben exam is no joke! It's like an academic mountain that you have to conquer with every last ounce of effort in your body. Jing had to study like crazy, emotionally prepare herself, and then summon incredible willpower during the actual test day. But she did it! She climbed that mountain successfully!I'm just an elementary student, but I have so much respect and admiration for Jing and everyone else who conquered the Zhuan Sheng Ben last year. It's one of the most important exams in our entire province. If Jing can handle that immense pressure and workload, I know I'll be able to face any challenge that comes my way too. Exams are going to be a major part of my life, so I'll always remember Jing's perseverance and draw inspiration from it.Well, thanks for listening to me ramble about this crazy important test! I'm sure one day in the not-so-distant future, it'll be my turn to start preparing for the Zhuan Sheng Ben. But no matter how tough it gets, I'll be ready. Jing showed me that with the right mindset and work ethic, you can conquer any academic mountain. Wish me luck!篇5The 2023 Shandong English Test? Oh boy, that was quite an adventure! As a little kid, I didn't really understand what all the fuss was about at first. But after seeing how stressed out my older cousins and neighbors were while preparing for it, I quickly realized it must be a really big deal. The weeks leading up to the test were just chaos in my neighborhood. You could hear the sound of English audiobooks blasting from open windows as students tried to cram listening practice. The familiar playground chants were replaced by kids quizzing each other on vocabulary words. And don't even get me started on the heaps of crumpled practice test papers overflowing from recycling bins!My sister Jingyi is two years older than me, so she had to take the test this year. I've never seen her work so hard on anything before. She would spend hours every night highlighting her English textbooks and making flashcard after flashcard. Sometimes I would peek over her shoulder, and I couldn't make any sense of the confusing words and grammar rules she was trying to memorize."Jingyi, why do you have to learn all that hard stuff?" I would ask innocently. She would just sigh and ruffle my hair."Oh Dàxiáo, you'll understand when you're older. The higher my score, the better university I can get into. And that will lead to better job opportunities after graduation," she patiently explained, using the nickname only my family calls me.I still didn't fully comprehend the importance, but I knew enough to not disturb Jingyi while she was diligently studying. The morning of the test, our normally quiet street was pandemonium. There was a mass exodus of fidgety students dressed in their nicest clothes, lugging overstuffed backpacks and clutching numberless sheets of notebooks. It reminded me of those marching ant lines from the nature documentaries we watched at school.Proud parents like my mom and dad trailed behind, giving last minute words of encouragement and scolding little siblings like me to not make too much noise. The air was thick with nervous energy and the pungent aroma of extra-strengthanti-perspirant."Good luck sis! You've got this!" I shouted, hopping up and down and waving madly as Jingyi marched by, her face a mask of grim determination. The test took what felt like forever to rowdy kids like me. While Jingyi slaved over reading comprehension passages, I was outside enjoying the sunny weather, playing tag and jumping through puddles with the neighborhood crew. We tried our best to stay out of the way, but I can't help but feel a tiny bit responsible for at least part of the neighborhood's noise pollution that day. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the students began trickling back like sprinkles of rain after a storm. Some had looks of pure elation, pumping their fists in victory. While others wore crestfallen expressions, shoulders slumped in defeat.Jingyi was one of the lucky ones. I saw her before she saw me, and her face was simply glowing. She caught my eye and her smile stretched even wider as she held up eight fingers - I'm guessing that meant she thought she scored pretty well!In the following weeks, the big test was all anyone could talk about at school, at the playground, at family gatherings, everywhere. Everyone wanted to know how their kids or relatives had scored, and whether the result was high enough to get them into their dream university. Once the scores were finally released, it was like a community-wide exhale. My sister's hard work paid off, because she scored in the top 10% of test takers! Our parents were overjoyed and immediately whisked her off to go tour some of the top universities she could now attend. As for me, I was just happy the neighborhood streets had returned to their normal cheerful sounds of kids playing and neighbors gossiping over games of mahjong. While I'm still too young yet to fully comprehend the weight of that pivotal English exam, I have a newfound respect and understanding of what my sister went through to achieve her dreams. She inspires me to work hard in my own studies, so that one day I'll be prepared to take on my own big academic challenges and tests.I know the 2023 Shandong English Test was just a small chapter in my sister's academic journey. But it was an important milestone that showed her tenacity, commitment and courage to take that crucial first step towards university. I'm proud of her for that. And I'm proud of all the test takers who diligently pursued their ambitions, regardless of score. Challenging yourself and giving your best effort is the true measure of success, right? Those are just some observations from a rambling kid's perspective. But I'm sure my eyes will be even more opened as I experience all the pivotal academic tests and milestones that still await me in the years ahead. For now though, I'm just happy to be young, carefree and blissfully unaware of big looming exams on the horizon!篇6My Big Day at the FairHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 9 years old. I just had the best day ever at the big fair that came to our town. I've been looking forward to it for weeks! Let me tell you all about my exciting adventure. It was a sunny Saturday morning when my mom, dad, and little brother Tommy loaded into the car. The fair was being held at the huge park on the other side of town. I could hardly sit still on the drive over because I was so excited. When we finally arrived, I could see the giant Ferris wheel towering over the trees.I started bouncing up and down in my seat, I was that eager to get inside! The entrance had a big archway made of balloons in every color. We walked through and it was like entering a whole other world! There were game booths, food stands, and rides everywhere you looked. The smells of popcorn, cotton candy, and funnel cakes filled the air. Music was playing and people were laughing and having fun.The first thing my brother and I raced to were the bumper cars. I picked out a bright red one and Tommy took a green one. When the buzzer went off, we started zipping around the arena, crashing into each other and giggling like crazy. I tried to run over as many people as I could! Even when Tommy bumped intome hard and made me spin around, I just thought it was hilarious.Next, my dad took us over to the fun house. It had all these crazy mirror mazes and tilting floors that made you feel dizzy. At one point, I looked in a mirror and my head seemed totally stretched out like a giraffe! We also went through the rattling tubular slide and spun around on the spinning barrels. We came out laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. Then it was time for some games. I really wanted to win a giant teddy bear, so we stopped at the ring toss booth. The guy running it didn't make it look too hard - he made it seem like the bottles were pretty close together. But wow, was I wrong! Those bottles were pretty far apart after all. I missed throwing the rings over the bottles about a hundred times. Finally on my third try, I got one ring around a bottle and won a tiny rubber duck instead of the huge bear. Oh well, at least I didn't spend too much money! We took a break to fuel up on lots of delicious fair food. We devoured bags of fresh-squeezed lemonade, crispy french fries, juicy corn dogs, and yards of that deliciously doughy funnel cake covered in powdered sugar. I think I ate about a week's worth of food, but it was all so yummy! After re-energizing with all those tasty treats, it was time for the big rides. First up was the big steel roller coaster. As we waited in line, I could see it zooming around, twisting upside down with people screaming at the top of their lungs. I've never ridden a huge coaster like that before, so I was a little nervous. But I didn't want to seem like a baby in front of Tommy. The climb up the first huge hill was so slow and suspenseful. Then we went soaring down super fast, whipping around turns and loops.I screamed so loud, but it was honestly the biggest thrill ever!We also went on the swinging ship ride that rocked really high in the air, the Tilt-a-Whirl that flung us from side to side, and the Gravitron that spun us around sticking to the walls. Every ride made my heart pound with excitement and fear at the same time! I loved the adrenaline rush.As it started to get dark, we gathered together to watch the stunning lights and fireworks show over the fairgrounds. Bright beams and lasers danced through the night sky, synchronized to booming music. Then the fireworks began exploding in brilliant showers of red, gold, green, and blue sparkling lights. Some sounded like cannons going off and made me jump. Others twinkled delicately in the air for a few seconds before fading away. It was such a magical, mesmerizing display. After the fireworks ended with a huge finale, I was absolutely exhausted from my super fun day. As we walked back to the car, I clutched my prized rubber ducky souvenir and gazed up at the illuminated Ferris wheel one last time. I felt a tiny bit sad that such an amazing day had come to an end. But I'm already counting down the days until the fair returns next year! I'll be first in line for another incredible experience.。

2023年专升本英语考试真题及答案山东

2023年专升本英语考试真题及答案山东全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The 2023 Zhuanshengben English Exam Questions and Answers for ShandongHi friends! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader at Sunshine Elementary School in Jinan, Shandong Province. Today I want to tell you all about the big English exam I just took called the Zhuanshengben. It's a really important test that students take to try to get into university after graduating from vocational college or community college programs. My older cousin Jing took it this year, so I got to see what it was like! The exam had four sections - listening, reading, writing, and translation. I'll go through each part and some of the questions Jing had to answer. Maybe it will help you if you have to take the Zhuanshengben one day too!Listening SectionThe listening part had recordings of conversations and passages that Jing had to listen to carefully. Then she had toanswer multiple choice questions about what she heard. Here are a couple examples:Recording: "Thanks for meeting me at the café, Alice. Did you want to split a sandwich or just get drinks?""I'm not very hungry so I'll just have a coffee. Black with two sugars please."Question: What did Alice order at the café?A) A sandwichB) A black coffee with two sugarsC) TeaD) Nothing, she isn't orderingThe right answer is B - Alice ordered a black coffee with two sugars. Jing had to listen very closely! Here's another listening question my cousin had:Recording: "Attention passengers, this is your pilot speaking. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The weather looks clear for our flight to Beijing today with sunny skies. We expect to land at Capital International Airport right on schedule in about 2 hours. Thank you for flying with us."Question: According to the pilot's announcement, when will the plane篇2The 2023 Big Test for Going to UniversityHi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just took a really important English test called the Zhuan Sheng Ben exam. It was super hard but I'll tell you all about it!First, there was a listening section. The recording played some conversations and I had to answer multiple choice questions about what I heard. One conversation was between two friends making plans to go to the movies. I had to pick which movie they decided to see. Another conversation was about a mom reminding her son to pack his lunch and gym clothes for school the next day. I had to choose what specific items she told him to pack. Listening is one of the hardest parts for me because the speakers talk so fast! After listening, there was a reading section with some long passages. One passage was about the history of tea drinking in China. It described how tea was first discovered by a emperor who accidentally had some tea leaves fall into his hot water. Isn'tthat a funny story? The questions asked things like the main idea of the passage and what specific evidence proved certain details.Another reading passage described different styles of architecture around the world. It talked about attributes of buildings from China, Europe, and the Middle East. The questions were about analyzing similarities and differences between the architectural styles. I had to identify specific examples from the passage for my answer explanations. My favorite part of the test was the writing section! The prompt asked me to write a short essay giving advice to a new student about how to have a great experience at school. I wrote all about making friends, participating in class, and getting involved in extracurricular activities. I tried to use lots of examples and detailsto make my essay stronger. The grammar section had all kinds of questions about verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and more. I had to read sentences and identify errors or choose the right word(s) to fix the mistakes. This part was pretty tricky because some of the mistakes were super small and hard to catch! Making sure I read each sentence closely was important. Finally, there was a translation section where I had to translate sentences from Chinese to English and English toChinese. Whew, that part made my brain feel like a pretzel! You really have to think hard about not just the literal word meaning but the actual meaning behind the whole sentence. Translating idioms and sayings was the most difficult part. All in all, the Zhuan Sheng Ben exam covered soooo many skills - listening, reading, writing, grammar, and translation. My pencil could barely keep up with bubbling in all the answers! Even though parts of it were really hard, I felt prepared from all the practice tests and study materials my teacher gave me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I did well enough to get into a great university program.Whew, I'm tired just from talking about that big test! Thanks for letting me tell you all the details. I'm going to go take a nice long nap now. Study hard, everyone, and good luck on your exams!篇3Certainly! Here's a 2000-word article written from a primary school student's perspective, discussing the 2023 Zhuanshengben English test questions and answers for Shandong Province. The language used is English. The 2023 Zhuanshengben English Test was Awesome!Hi there, friends! My name is Lily, and I'm a 10-year-old student from Shandong Province, China. I just took the 2023 Zhuanshengben English test, and I'm super excited to share my experience with you!First things first, let me tell you about the test itself. It was a bit different from the regular English tests we take in school. The Zhuanshengben test is designed for students who want to upgrade from junior college to university level studies. It's a big deal, and a lot of us worked really hard to prepare for it.The test had four sections: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Each section was challenging in its own way, but I tried my best to stay focused and do my best. The Listening SectionThe listening section was probably the trickiest part for me. We had to listen to different conversations and answer questions about them. Some of the conversations were between friends, while others were between teachers and students or even between people at a store or restaurant. One of the conversations was about two friends planning a trip to the beach. They were discussing what to pack, what activities to do, and how to get there. I had to answer questionslike "What did they plan to do at the beach?" and "How were they going to travel there?"Another conversation was between a teacher and a student. The teacher was explaining a science project, and the student was asking questions about it. I had to identify the main topic of the conversation and some specific details the teacher mentioned. The Reading SectionThe reading section was a bit easier for me. We had to read different passages and answer comprehension questions about them. Some of the passages were stories, while others were informational texts about different topics like animals, history, or science. One of the passages was a short story about a girl who got lost in the woods. It was a bit spooky, but also exciting to read. I had to answer questions about the characters, the main events, and the lesson or moral of the story.Another passage was about the life cycle of butterflies. It explained the different stages a butterfly goes through, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to adult butterfly. I had to answer questions about the篇4The 2023 Shandong Upgrade to University English ExamHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a 10-year-old 5th grader. I love learning English and my dream is to become an English teacher when I grow up. My older brother Peter just took the really important 2023 English exam to upgrade from junior college to a university in Shandong province. He studied so hard for months! I helped him practice his English speaking and listening skills. Today I'm going to tell you all about the exam he took and the types of questions that were on it.The exam had four main sections - listening, reading, writing, and translation. Peter said the listening part was pretty hard. They played recordings of people talking in English and you had to answer multiple choice questions about what you heard. There were conversations between two people as well as longer lectures and presentations to listen to. You really had to pay close attention! The reading section had a few different types of passages. Some were news articles or stories you had to read and then answer comprehension questions about. Others were more academic passages from textbooks on topics like history, science, and social studies. The questions asked you to identify the main idea, find specific details, make inferences, and understand vocabulary words in context. Peter struggled a bit with the really long reading passages. My favorite part that Peter told me about was the writing section! There were two essays test takers had to write. One was an argumentative essay where you had to state your opinion on a controversial topic and support your views with reasons and examples. The other was more of an analytical essay investigating the causes and effects of a social issue or trend.Peter said the essays had to be well-organized into clear paragraphs with introductions, body paragraphs, and conclusions. He had to use sophisticated vocabulary and sentence structures to get high marks. The grammar and spelling had to be perfect too. No easy task! I'm glad I'm still in elementary school and don't have to write such long, challenging essays yet.The last part of the exam was translation. This section had two tasks - translating a passage from English into Chinese, and translating another passage from Chinese into English. Peter told me the English-to-Chinese translation wasn't too bad, but he found it really difficult to accurately translate from his nativeChinese into natural-sounding English. You had to have a very strong command of idioms, phrases, and nuances in both languages. Those were the four main components of the English exam, but there were also some other smaller sections testing things like grammar, vocabulary, and summarizing skills. In total, the exam lasted over 3 hours! Peter was exhausted by the end but felt good about how he did overall.I can't wait until I'm older so I can take an exam like this one day. It sounds really hard but also fascinating to have your English abilities tested in such a comprehensive way across all skills - listening, reading, writing, speaking, translation, and more. I'll be sure to study extra hard once I get to junior college! The exam has a big impact because the score you get determines what level of university you can be admitted to in Shandong province. The very top students got into elite universities while those with lower scores could only go to less prestigious ones. It's so important to do well on this test if you want access to the best higher education opportunities. My brother Peter worked incredibly hard for months reviewing English grammar, expanding his vocabulary, practicing essay writing, and doing mock exams to prepare. Our wholefamily is very proud that his efforts paid off - he just got notified yesterday that he earned a high score and got into his first choice university! All of his late nights poring over English textbooks and practice tests were worth it. Yay Peter! That's the inside scoop on what it was like for my big brother to take the intense 2023 English university entrance exam here in Shandong. It covers such a wide range of skills at an advanced level across all areas of the English language. No wonder it's seen as such a crucial, high-stakes test for students looking to continue their education. I have a few more years until I'll be in Peter's shoes, but his experience has motivated me to start building my English abilities now through reading, writing, listening to music and shows, and practicing conversation every chance I get. Who knows, maybe I'll even outperform him on the exam when it's my turn! An elementary school student can dream, right?篇5My Big English Test AdventureHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm in 5th grade. A few weeks ago, I had to take a really important English test called theZhuanshengben. It was super hard but I studied a ton and I think I did pretty well. Let me tell you all about it!First, we had to answer some reading comprehension questions about a story called "The Talking Parrot." It was about this parrot that could talk and it made me laugh a few times. One of the questions asked what the main idea of the story was. I thought really hard and wrote that the main idea was that the parrot could talk and it got its owner into some funny situations.I really hope I got that one right!Next up were some vocabulary questions where we had to fill in the blanks with the right word. There was one sentence that said: "The brave firefighter _____ into the burning building to rescue the family." The answer choices were "ran," "walked," "hopped," and "bounced." Obviously, it was "ran" because firefighters have to run really fast when there's a fire. Piece of cake! The writing section is where things got really tricky. We had to write a paragraph about our favorite season and why we like it so much. I love summer because I get to go swimming, have picnics, and there's no school! So I wrote all about that. The hard part was using proper grammar and vocabulary. I really concentrated and tried my best. Then we had to answer some super hard grammar questions about things like past perfect tense and conditional sentences. I'm not going to lie, those really scrambled my brain! I had to read each question like five times. I got stuck on one that said: "If I _____ enough money, I would buy a new bike." I thought maybe the answer was "have" but I can't remember if I put that or not. Hopefully I got some of them right. Finally, we had to do a listening comprehension section where we listened to a recording about summer camp and answered questions. The recording went pretty fast but I listened really carefully. One question asked something like "What activities did the kids enjoy at camp?" I put down hiking, swimming, and arts and crafts. Keeping all those details straight in my head was tough!Phew, that test really whooped me! I worked so hard studying and gave it my all on test day. I really hope I did well enough to get a good score. No matter what though, I'm proud of myself for trying my best. Wish me luck! Those were just some of the questions I can remember from the big Zhuanshengben English test. It's crazy how much stuff we have to know, even as elementary school kids! I'll find out myscore in a few weeks. Fingers crossed it's a good one. Thanks for listening to my test adventure!篇6The Big TestBy Claude the AIWow, what a day! I just took the biggest test of my whole life - the zhuan sheng ben exam to get into a university. Zhuan sheng ben means going from a vocational school to a full university. It's kinda like skipping a grade, but for college. Pretty cool, right? The exam was really hard. We had to answer all sorts of crazy questions about math, Chinese, and English. I studied so much that my brain still kinda hurts! But I gave it my all and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I did well enough to get into a great school.Let me tell you about some of the questions on the English part. There was a reading passage about this kid who went on an adventure to the Amazon rainforest. We had to answer comprehension questions like "What was the main reason the kid went to the Amazon?" and "How did the kid feel when he sawa wild jaguar?" I swear, that jaguar part made my heart beat really fast just reading about it!Then there were some grammar questions where we had to fill in the blanks with the right verb tenses and stuff. I'm pretty good at grammar but some of those were super tricky.Like ..."The scientists _____ just _____ a new species of frog when we _____ them in the rainforest." Yikes! For the writing section, we had to write a whole essay about whether kids should be allowed to have smartphones. I wrote all about how they can be educational but also really distracting. I made sure to use good examples and really clear topic sentences. My teacher said that's super important for a good essay.Oh oh, and then the listening part! We had to listen to recordings and answer questions about what we heard. One of them was this lecture from a biology professor talking about the life cycle of butterflies. I learned that their camouflage as caterpillars helps protect them from predators. Wild stuff! After the listening, we had to do a spoken response section. The computer gave us a hypothetical situation, like "Your friend wants to stay out past curfew to finish a school project. What would you say to them?" We had to speak our response out loudand it recorded us. I tried to give good reasons why staying out too late is a bad idea, like being tired for class the next day.Phew, just thinking about all those sections is making me tired again! The exam was basically all day from 8am to 5pm with just a couple short breaks. My brain was fried by the end. But I'm really hoping I did well, especially on that English part. Zhuan sheng ben is my chance to go to an amazing university like Qingdao University or Shandong University. Can you imagine?? Getting to live in the dorms, join clubs, learn from great professors...a kid can dream!Well, I've got a few more weeks until I'll know my scores. Everything is crossed that I make the cut! If not, I'll just have to take zhuan sheng ben again next year and studystudystudy. No。
